So, what is it about Ernestine and what can we learn from her story? Watch till the end and I’ll share three things she did to get the results that she got. You too can apply those to your life to stand out.
Number 1
THE POWER OF CONSISTENCY
Ernestine wakes up every morning at 2:30 am to start her day with a 10-mile run. She then hits the gym for an intense weightlifting session, focusing on exercises that work multiple muscle groups at once. Her diet is equally impressive, consisting of lean proteins, complex carbs, and healthy fats. That level of consistency has made her to maintain only about 9-10% body fat typically reserved for elite professional male athletes in their prime!
Now for you,
You may not have to wake up at 2.30am or run 10 miles a day to succeed, but if waking up early to read, practice, or plan enhances your performance, do so every day. If you know the recipe that keeps bringing your customers back, there’s no need change it? And if you know the right way to approach difficult people that makes it easier for you to work with them, use that approach every time.
Vic Braden said “Losers have tons of variety. Champions just take pride in learning to hit the same old boring winning shots.”
What else can we learn from Ernestine’s story?
NUMBER TWO
MAKE YOUR MIND UP
Ernestine didn't start her fitness journey until she was 56 years old by the time most people would have started thinking about retirement. She was inspired by a fitness competition on TV, and decided she wanted to get in shape. The moment Ernestine decided to pursue bodybuilding seriously was a turning point in her life. She went from being a self-proclaimed "couch potato" to a fitness icon with the support of her late sister, she started working out regularly. Today, Ernestine is a world-record holder in bodybuilding, and her transformation is truly jaw-dropping.
Despite being above 70 Ernestine's workouts were still incredibly intense. She incorporated exercises like squats, deadlifts, and bench presses into her routine, and she was not afraid to push herself to the limit.
You won’t get the shape, degree, business growth or personal development you want without some sweat. You must decide to endure the cold, the unpleasant boss, the seemingly difficult investors, or the rebukes or feedback from others if you want to succeed. As fearful as it may seem, enrol for the class, break out of your comfort zone, travel to another state, suburb, or country. make new friends. Make up your mind and get going. Remember, you can’t learn how to swim on land, you must get into the water.

HAVE A POSITIVE MINDSET
As you age, your body naturally starts to decline, and maintaining fitness becomes a huge challenge. Your joints start to ache, your muscles lose mass, and your energy levels plummet. It's hard to keep up with your younger self, and it's easy to get discouraged.
I watched an interview in which Ernestine said, “age is nothing, but a number and you can be fit”. Ernestine's incredible journey makes it impossible for me to agree less. She's proof that with the right mindset, dedication, and strategy, you can achieve your fitness goals at any stage of life. Your body is capable of amazing things if you just put your mind to it.
Don’t build your goals on the negatives. Stop saying; I am not educated enough. You have access to more education than all previous generations of human history. Don’t say I don’t have enough capital to start. Your idea is enough capital. Don’t say nobody will buy my products or patronise my service; you have no idea how many people are waiting for you to start.
Ditch the negative mindset and go out there to chase your dreams. Start the business, write the book, launch the NGO, Just start and see yourself become successful.
