CAMINO CREATIVITY PATHWAY

Public Art, Local Creativity

Margret Hefner Season 1 Episode 6

Beyond the art and architecture of the Camino and its many historical features, you will find the stories of community along with plenty of quirky creations of public art along the way. Taking the time to explore these can be both inspiring and eye-opening.

The Camino is a wonderful time to experience new places and meet people... But it's no holiday; it's much more like a challenging retreat where you may face your emotional demons and some real physical discomfort or both... if you're lucky!

Ultimately it's a complex journey, not to a place, but to your SELF. For many, it's a significant step toward change and growth. And the arrival to Santiago should be where you BEGIN to use what you learned and discovered on your Camino. These prompts provide a creative approach to process and integrate your Camino and ways you might approach challenges as you continue to make your way in this life...

Using creativity and being artistic are not the same thing, though they are of course linked . Each of us uses everyday types of creativity in our lives! So if you want to change your life (or help change the world)... it's time to investigate how creativity can help you re-imagine your path... and live with more joy and hope.

The prompts are short and easily incorporated into the walking day (preferably morning). I provide some very simple "exercises" for creative actions to do either during your walk or once you reach your albergue at the end of the day... these can be accessed by signing up at caminocreativitypathway.com
