She started homeschooling her daughters 9 years ago, and her family has been well known for the last 13 years because of court cases filed against her dad, Jack Phillips, and their cake shop, which is also where she homeschools her kids. She’s worked with her dad and family since they opened Masterpiece Cakes in 1993.
