So, with this one, guys, Mike wrote in. He says he's been with his girlfriend for about six months, but recently he went to go pick up his son from his baby mama's house. What? Yep. Hey, we all do that. I had to do that, and something happened. He ended up cheating on his girlfriend with his baby mama. Now he's stuck. He's asking, should I tell her and deal with the consequences? Or do I stay quiet, never do it again, and just hope she never finds out. He says he feels guilty. I don't know, bro. I don't know. And he also feels like his girlfriend can tell something's off, you know? Like his energy has changed. He doesn't know what to do. That's crazy, huh? Let me know if you guys have been in this situation. Let me know in the comments, guys. Uh alright, Mike. Let's get into it, baby. Let's talk about it. Um because yeah, cheating happens. There's a reason why a lot of people are single, divorced, uh, and everything else. But I'm more interested in why it happened. You know what happened? What put you in that position mentally? You know, was it just a moment of weakness, or is there still something there with your baby mama that you haven't fully closed out? You know, you haven't closed that chapter out in your life, you're still trying to get back to it because you said you don't have feelings for her, but your actions say something else, bro. Like I said, no judgment, bro. Hey, we're here to talk about it. They say something else might still be lingering, right? Some old mixed up feelings or something, you know. Uh, let's be honest for a second, though. You know, are you are you someone who just had a weak moment? Which, you know, a lot of people say men have a lot of weak moments, or are you someone who might give in when temptation shows up? Because those are two very different things. And here's the part a lot of people avoid asking themselves. If you don't tell your girlfriend what stops this from happening again, you know, like a crack addict, you know. Once you hit that, once you hit that pipe, you you're gonna be feeding for it, but you're gonna be feeding for it, bro. So what happens the next time you go pick up your son? You know, nothing's changed, it's the same environment, same person, same opportunity is there. Are you strong enough to shut it down next time? Or are you gonna or you're gonna be weak? Or does it be or does this uh does it become a pattern? You know, and I'm sure she's probably you know looking forward to it. But anyways, the real question is this, bro. This is the heavy part, you know. Uh man, excuse me. So you gotta ask yourself, is your baby mama now thinking she can have access to whenever she wants? You know? It's probably thinking, hey, I can have that D when I want it, baby. This is this did this open a door that was supposed to stay closed a long time ago? You know, are you putting yourself in situations where this can happen again? You know, because if nothing's changed, nothing changes, you know, nothing changes. It's all gonna be the same. You're gonna be back in that same situation. She's gonna be expecting that. Now let's talk about your actual question. Should you tell her? You know, your girl for that you've been with for six months. You know, she's been dealing with you for six months, she's been helping you for six months, she's been you guys have been bonding for six months. I'm sure she's you know, bonding with that kid when you bring him over. Um I I I don't think I mentioned it in here, but I I think you mentioned that you guys do live together and so forth. Um but if you stay quiet, you know, you carry that guilt, you start moving different. She already feels something is off, and now the relationship slowly shifts without her knowing why, and if it happens again, now you're not just hiding one mistake, you're living a double life, baby. You know, you got your side piece, and you got your main piece, you know. You pretty much want to have your cake and eat it too, anyways. So, Mike Silent doesn't fix behavior, it hides it, right? So, silent doesn't fix behavior, it hides the behavior, and hidden behavior usually repeats itself, you know. Like I said, like these crack addicts, bro. You don't just hit that pipe once and get addicted, you know. You're gonna have you're gonna be feeding, you're gonna wanna hit it again and hit it again and hit it again. So you're gonna be wanting to hit that ass again. You know what I mean? Um you said you feel guilty. That right there, that's your conscience telling you something isn't right. Because if it really meant nothing, you wouldn't feel anything, but it still doesn't make it right, you know. So my advice or if you want to grow from this, you've got to do two things, right? First, be honest with yourself. Why did this really happen? Second, be real with her. No excuses, no, it just happened. You know, just the honest truth, bro. Be out, be come with it, you know, and then you accept whatever comes after that. You know, because that's what accountability looks like. You know, you gotta be accountable for your actions, bro. You know, whether they're good or whether they're bad. You know, you gotta come with it, you gotta be a man. You know, a lot of people, you know, say this probably isn't the right advice, you know, and it may not be, you know, like I said, I'm not a professional, I don't claim to be a professional. I just go through it and I I just you know, I just put it out there. Like I said, you're not protecting her, you're trying to protect yourself, you're trying to protect that behavior, you're trying to not take accountability for your actions. But then again, you know, sometimes sometimes you're sometimes when you're thinking that you want to kind of save them from that distress, from that pain. Um, some people hide it. Some people say that you should never um that you should keep it from them as long as you can. Eventually, it's gonna come out. You know, somebody's gonna talk to somebody, somebody's gonna say this. She might be spiteful, she might get mad at one point at you or something, and then she might just spill the bean and say, Hey, your man came over and he hit this, you know. And you know, so you know, it just depends, bro. It depends on how you want to do it, how you wanna think, whether you want to take a calib accountability. I mean, you're six months into it. If you if you if you do it at this point, you know, like like they say sometimes, you know, cut your losses and and you know, or let her cut her losses and just be done, you know.
