Today’s episode hit different.

While visiting Disneyland, I had a moment that completely changed my perspective on opportunity, inclusion, and the struggles many people face just trying to find work.

This episode dives into:

* The reality of job struggles for people with disabilities
* How society often overlooks capable individuals
* The mental and emotional toll of being denied opportunity
* Why one chance can change someone’s entire life

This isn’t about sympathy…
It’s about awareness, respect, and perspective.

Let me ask you something. How many people are out there right now ready to work? Capable, willing, but never even get the opportunity. Because today at Disneyland, I saw something that hit me harder than I expected. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What's up, everybody? Welcome back to Mike Manifestations Podcast. Thanks for tuning in. Mike Manifestations Podcast, where we keep it real. We keep it honest and we stay human. And today, this isn't about drama, headlines, or anything viral like we normally do. This is about something simple, but powerful enough to change your perspective if you really think about it. Like I said, thanks for tuning in, guys. Mike Manifestations podcast in the building. So today, or actually yesterday Sunday, I was at Disneyland Park. You know, the energy, families everywhere, people making memories, everything's moving fast. And I noticed an employee working there. Who was clearly disabled. And for a second, it was just a passing observation. You know. We have the Disneyland, you know, with the harp, the Hopper, Disneyland Park Hopper passes. Um, so we went into Disneyland, we came and we ended up going out because my wife was looking for some specific gears that she wasn't, unfortunately, wasn't able to find. But yeah, we went out. We went out to one of the the stores in downtown Disney and then came back. Uh, but yeah, on the way out, you know, it struck me. You know, because you don't see that every you don't see that every day, you don't see that enough. You know, so yeah, on the way out, you know, I saw this person, and I'm like, wow, that's crazy. And the more that I thought about it, the more I realized that moment wasn't just about seeing someone working, it was about realizing how many people aren't given that chance, that opportunity. Yeah, so it it you know, it changed the way that I thought, you know, because let's let's let's really talk about it. You know, for a lot of people with disabilities, the struggle isn't just physical. It's societal. It's uh walking into an interview and being judged before you even speak, employers assuming limitations instead of capabilities, being overlooked for positions you're fully qualified for, having to prove yourself twice as much just to be taken seriously, and even beyond that, you know, some people don't even get the interview, you know, applications are ignored, opportunities are passed over, doors closed without explanation, you know. Now imagine what that does to someone over time. You know, you start questioning yourself Am I not good enough? Is something wrong with me? Do I even belong in this place? You know, and that's the that's the part where people don't see. It's not just about not getting a job, it's about what that rejection does to your confidence, your identity, your being in yourself. You know, and honestly, this doesn't just apply to people with disabilities, you know. There are so many, there's so many people out there, period, who are trying to find work. Excuse me, man, Jesus. Trying to provide, you know, trying to build something. And they just keep hitting they just keep hitting uh hit they just keep hitting walls, you know. People who want a chance, but can't catch a break. You know, um yeah, so when I saw this employee, you know, at Disneyland, you know, uh there at the exit gate. Uh it wasn't just one, it wasn't just like a oh, that's cool, you know. Um it was deeper than that. And I told my wife, I go, man, that's that's that's amazing, bro. You know, for someone to, you know, and I and I've seen I've seen a couple a couple disabled people, you know, at the uh at the entrances and the exits, you know, greeting people on their way out and so forth. Um you know and like it's like I told my wife, I go man, that's that's crazy. That I you know, I love it that you know they they give that opportunity to these people, um, you know, that are actually willing to work, you know, because there's some people that just don't really care, you know, whether they they um they have a job or not, or you know, whatever they may be. You know, but yeah, but someone gave gave that person a chance. Someone looked past assumptions, you know, someone said, Hey, you belong here too, you know. Um but yeah, it was it was just you know, it's one of those things, you know. You you don't really notice until like after sometimes it hits you, and you're like, Wow, you know, but yeah, because that one decision, that one opportunity, that can change everything. But don't forget, you know, it gives someone purpose, confidence, independence, you know, and more importantly, you know, it gives them dignity. You know, they probably wake up proud and happy and and joyful and you know, ready to go to work, you know what I mean. So, yeah, um, you know, and speaking of something meaningful, this episode is sponsored by Came 3D Studio. Man, Mother's Day is coming up quick. Next time you see someone, maybe come get someone, don't just see what's on the surface, which for the most part, normally we all do, right? Don't assume, don't overlook. Because you never know what someone had to fight through just to be standing where they are right now. You know, the struggles that they had to go through. I'm sure they, you know, I'm sure it's tough, you know, being disabled, you know, having to either depend on someone else or having to depend on transportation, whatever it may be, you know. Some people aren't asking for handouts, you know. They're out there, they're real, they're they're pushing, they're trying to do what they can do to get a job, to get an opportunity. Um they're just asking for a fair shot, you know, and sometimes that's all they need. You know, that's all it takes to change a life. You know? Because believe me, when you when you, you know, let me know in the comments. I mean, some of you that that you know, when you especially when you got that first job ever, right? You're like, man, hey, whether it was whether it was at McDonald's or or wherever, you know, when you got that first job, you were pumped, you were excited, you were ready to do it, right?
