Understanding the TEN DAYS of AWE

What are the Ten Days of Awe and why should Christians observe them? The Ten Days of Awe are related to the Jewish Feast of Trumpets what is called Rosh Hashanah or the 'head of the year'.

This festival is one of seven Jewish festivals which Jesus revered as holy days. These festivals are appointed by God to be celebrated, this one on the first day of the seventh month of the Jewish calendar. You can read more about all seven festivals in Leviticus 23.

These festivals are prophetic in nature providing a roadmap for believers to follow that leads to redemption. They can be fearful days, if we are rebellious (like America is today), or they can be joyous when a nation honors God. Each festival involves a rest from labor, offerings, worship and commemorates a major event in the history of Israel. Christians are grafted into the family of God so we should recognize these festivals. We may not be required to follow the festivals in specifics but we should be aware of their significance for our lives. Sometimes even the agricultural harvest can be connected .

It is widely understood that the first four spring festivals related to the First Coming of Jesus Christ. The last three that occur in the fall related to the Second Coming and for our purposes holds more of a prophetic futuristic fulfillment. It is more concise to consider these festivals for what they really stand for as in 'appointments'. God appointed these times for a specific purpose and when Jesus returns He will follow these times. You can think of it as, Jesus has an appointment to return to earth and establish His Kingdom. At the appointed time He will return.

We are not to know the date or time. But we are to know the season and the fall festivals provide clues.

During these periods of time, God asks His people to remember what He did for them in history over thousands of years. God asks this over one hundred and fifty times in the Bible. These appointments are a way for His people to remember what God has done for them and that He will do more in the future.

These festival appointments were established by God and therefore, Christians as part of God's elect, chosen people should be aware of their significance for our lives. God has done great things and will do great things in our lives. He deserves our attention to His appointed times.

On October 2nd, the first fall festival, The Feast of Trumpets begins at sundown. The Sounding of the Shofar signals the beginning of the Ten Days of Awe leading up to the Day of Atonement. The great theme of this festival appointment is REPENTANCE.

For us it signifies a great importance.

The Ten Days of Awe begin with where YOU and I stand with God.

It ends on the Day of Atonement, where God stands on YOU and I.

The ten days in between are our opportunity to repent, seek forgiveness and return to Him before that last day.

Repentance and forgiveness is the over-riding theme of this period of time and we all need to repent and be forgiven. As a nation, the United States of America needs national repentance and humbly seek God's forgiveness. That is why we need to observe this holy period. We should seek forgiveness for ourselves, pray for others and seek forgiveness for our nation.

The Ten Days of Awe are ten days of praying for repentance. A season of repentance you might think of it. And our nation needs it tremendously. For there are no political solutions to our problems, no president or senator holds the answer. Only God Almighty can save America, and it is up to God’s people, that’s you and me, to seek Him in repentance for we hold His promise of 2nd Chronicles 7:14.

The Bible tells us that there is no one who does good.  We are all sinners’ some are saved by grace while others are still lost in their sins.  And only 6% of Americans have a Biblical worldview, that means 94% look at our world through the eyes of Satans.  America needs repentance and Christians need to change that before our time runs out.

Repentance is the narrow path that leads to salvation and the forgiveness we all need.

So, for the ten days beginning on October 2nd, I am encouraging you and all our brothers and sisters in Christ to spend time every day in repentance and prayer for ourselves and our nation.  America needs Christians praying for its redemption. 

 YOU HAVE THE POWER, when you get down on your knees in humble prayer, seeking God in true repentance there is not a more powerful force in the universe!

Ask for forgiveness from those we may have offended and forgive others who may have offended us.  Remember the Lord's Prayer?

The Apostle Paul made it clear the importance of understanding and experiencing the festival appointments when he wrote his letter to Timothy,

 "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, correction, for training in righteousness....."

Jesus observed these appointments and He will fulfill them one day when He returns.  While we wait for that glorious moment let's observe this period of repentance and restore America's relationship with our Lord, Savior and King.

The Bible, every part of it, is accurate and useful in the process of maturing in your spiritual growth.  The Festivals don't have to be observed in a certain way, we don't have to live in a tent when that festival comes, we just need to use them for our spiritual growth.  

Repenting of our personal sins is an important and necessary step in becoming saved.  America is a fallen nation deep in sin, and needs national repentance.  Every day for ten days, I ask you to join me in praying for America to return to Jesus.

Are you ready to get down on your knees and pray for the repentance of America?

America needs to declare God’s Glory (Isaiah 25:3).  For the Lord IS OUR GOD! And He has made us great and will do so again, when we return to Him.  

Revive us O’Lord.

Speaking of revival.  My senate campaign focused on declaring 2024 the Year of Revival in America.  And while my campaign was not welcomed in West Virginia, God is still at work reviving our fallen nation.

Here is the latest news of Revival in America.  More college campuses are holding massive revivals while our church going Christians hide under their pews.

September 21 article in Christian Broadcast News reports:

“A reported 10,000 students gathered at the University of Arkansas on Thursday for a Christian revival event that changed lives.”

Young people from 67 universities came to worship God!  Did you hear those numbers?

Hundreds were baptized.

God is reviving the youth of our nation, while those entrusted with the Great Commission hides under their pews, 

I actually thought my campaign message would have been received from Christians.  But when I would speak at gatherings, the blank stares and lack of acceptance was quite appalling.  It was evident that Christian voters that I contacted did not want a revival.  Over 185,000 Christian voters were contacted directly.  

Yet, God is actively working to make 2024 the Year of Revival.  By reaching out to the lost on our college campuses, Praise the Lord!

The evangelist had this to say, “I believe this is the generation that will usher in the greatest move of God we’ve ever seen, and we’re seeing that”

Revival is just beginning in America!

Praise the Lord!

He went on to say; “Greater things are coming, and I feel for the end of this year and leading into 2025, something greater is coming.”

2024 IS THE YEAR OF REVIVAL.  

Do you want to be a part of it, or stay under your pew?

Now, let’s turn to the world and it’s hatred of Israel.

The United Nations voted overwhelmingly that Israel must leave the biblical lands of Judea and Samaria.  Including parts of Jerusalem and turn it over to the Philistines aka Palestinians.

Israel is fighting for it’s survival, being viciously attacked by Hezbollah terrorists.  Interestingly, here is the response from the terrorists about their retaliation, when Israel defends itself;

“This punishment is surely coming, by the will of God Almighty”

Note that these murderers use God as a reason to continue attacking the people of Israel.  Just as God’s Truth foretold in John 16:2

“The time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God”

Right there it is.  These wicked people actually think they are serving God, yet they don’t worship God they serve Satan and worship a black rock, an idol of stone that neither hears, sees or breathes.

124 nations voted against Israel.  Only 14 voted for Israel.  90% of the world’s nations oppose God and His chosen people Israel.  

This means Israel would have to give up historical biblical towns as Shiloh, Bethel, Hebron and the Old City of Jerusalem, the City of David where TWO Jewish Temples once stood.

The United Nations also passed a resolution saying:

“Israel did not have a right to defend itself in Gaza, in the West Bank or on the border of Lebanon”

Think about that.  The United Nations tells Israel they have no right to defend themselves.  In other words, be exterminated and do nothing to stop it.  This is evil, brothers and sisters, this is pure evil.  

The United Nations is a wicked world government and the United States of America must get OUT Of the UN and get the UN OUT of America.

To deny any sovereign nation the right to defend themselves is absurd.  The United Nations itself was supposed to maintain a ‘safe zone’ in Lebanon.  The UN has failed to do that.  Instead, Hezbollah has tunnels there, rockets launched into Israel from that ‘safe zone’ and has troops there.  

I can not emphasize enough how evil the United Nations is.  

Fortunately, God defends Israel and the Bible is clear that anyone who tries to divide Israel will be divided themselves.  So as the United Nations tries to establish their ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT THROUGH THE SUMMIT OF THE FUTURE, PACT FOR THE FUTURE.

It will not last, it will be divided.  In God’s time.

Now on to the Heaven’s declaring God’s glory.  This should excite you.  

We are experiencing a celestial trifecta in the sky.  Just as God told us that signs would appear in the heavens, and they are.

Are you looking up?

"The heavens declare the glory of God......"  Psalm 19:1

This is an amazing verse of Scripture.  The psalmist gets straight to the point.  They understood what God was telling us in Genesis,

Which reads; "And God said, let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night, and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years."

The prophet Joel also prophesied that the heavens is where we ought to be looking.  In the past, there wasn't a reason, but as the time of the Second Coming gets closer we need to spend more time looking to the heavens.

Joel says; "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.  

Jesus also spoke of the heavens, "the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken."

In the Book of Acts, we hear the same message repeated, " the sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come.  And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke"

Earthquakes are becoming more frequent and there's even an asteroid being monitored heading towards earth.....

Are you listening?  Are you looking to the sky?  Are you looking at current events with a Biblical worldview?

Within 30 days of the beginning of the Ted Days of Awe there are 3 amazing heavenly events taking place.  One of which is a celestial trifecta itself.  

On September 17th, 2024 3 cosmic events took place at the same time during a full moon.  

September's harvest moon coincided with a supermoon, with a blood moon and a partial lunar eclipse.

Each by itself is not that rare, but when all three occur simultaneously it is very rare.  

Before September is gone, the 'comet of the century' will begin to appear in the night sky.  This comet will be visible in September and October and may appear bright in the sky like Halley's comet was.

It will be visible with the naked eye at times.  It is supposed to shine the brightest on October 2nd.  Remember that date?  

That is when the Ten Days of Awe begins.  And there's even more than that!

On October 2nd, the beginning of the Ten Days, there is also a 'ring of fire' solar eclipse!

This is a very unusual historic series of heavenly events.  All at the same time the United Nations is trying to establish a One World Government, America is in the middle of a chaotic presidential election and Israel is at war with it's neighbors.  While the UN votes for Israel to abandon it's land to it's enemies and stop defending itself.

It all started September 17th and escalates on October 2nd, when God has set aside an appointment for us to repent and turn to Him.  The Summit of the Future meeting is part of Satan's plan for world domination, but we read in the Bible how it will fail.  

This is all not a co-incidence.  This is all part of God's plan.  The heavens truly do declare God's glory, all we have to do is to look and turn to Him.  

Ten Days of Repentance is not too much to ask is it?

Oh, want one more bit of Gospel Truth?  

There are only 2 solar eclipses occurring in 2024.  The first one, was the Great American Eclipse of 2024 on April 8th and it occurred on the first day of the first month of the Hebrew calendar.  The second, takes place on October 2nd, another important day for God's chosen people.

The TEN DAYS OF AWE is a very special time.  Prophecy, signs in the sky and world events are all escalating and becoming more noticeable.  God is warning us and we must take notice.
