Show-Me Sports Legacies
Show-Me Sports Legacies takes a story approach to learning about high school, junior college, D2 & D1 college sports and our beloved professional franchises in Kansas City and St. Louis. We talk to people who have made their mark as coaches, players, scouts, officials and business people after coming from small towns or little known communities or neighborhoods. We talk to people who are seeking to establish their reputation and break into sports career success. With a fan's perspective we look at how to encourage and support people who have that sporting dream.

Youth Sports: Navigating the Path with Kids and Young Athletes
A lively discussion of the joys and pitfalls of youth sports. Coach Jeremy Esry, North Central Missouri College, Head Men's Basketball Coach, joins us to talk about his new Speed and Agility Club. This program offered through Green Hills Recreation Association launches a broader discussion on skill development vs. games and the balance required to maintain youth enthusiasm and involvement. Trenton R9 School District Superintendent Daniel Gott is in to recreate our first podcast panel as he brings perspective of an educator encouraging athletic involvement and a father of young kids exploring youth sports and finding their path. We briefly revisit our very first podcast topic, (What drew you in to sports?) with some updated perspectives and talk of past year's episodes that struck that cord and reminded us of our love of sports.
*** Text us your ideas and feedback on topics, guests and anything else for the good of the cause!
