Show-Me Sports Legacies
Show-Me Sports Legacies takes a story approach to learning about high school, junior college, D2 & D1 college sports and our beloved professional franchises in Kansas City and St. Louis. We talk to people who have made their mark as coaches, players, scouts, officials and business people after coming from small towns or little known communities or neighborhoods. We talk to people who are seeking to establish their reputation and break into sports career success. With a fan's perspective we look at how to encourage and support people who have that sporting dream.

Flag Football Explodes on the Women's Sports Scene!
Women's Sports are growing tremendously and different sports are jockeying for position as the next big thing following in the path of women's basketball, soccer and softball. Just this week (July 16-20) the NFL and ESPN are presenting a national Flag Football tournament highlighting both men's and women's competition and Flag Football will be included in the 2028 Olympics! North Central Missouri College in Trenton, MO is launching the first Junior College Women's Flag Football program in Missouri next spring and we talk with Athletic Director Nate Gamet and Head Coach Aulden Knight about the excitement of this sport and their dreams for flag football at NCMC. Jeff and Kris talk downtown baseball (San Diego, one of Kris' many baseball stadium trips!) and the Kansas City Current and their leadership in women's sports expansion and excitement.
