Hello! Im Elle, and I am the photographer behind Rogue Paws Photography.
Inspired by the loss of our beautiful red cattle dog Abby, this podcast was born from the desire to keep her memory alive. A legacy to honour the incredible girl she was, and the huge impact she had in our home and heart.
Tails of the heart tells YOUR stories of resilience, adventure, love, loss and life lessons with the most incredible dog/human connection at the heart of each tale!
We also speak to industry experts from all areas of the animal industry as they share their incredible wealth of knowledge in their specific field.

Anastasia and Zelda
In this episode we talk to Anastasia about her late doggo Zelda.
If you have never heard the term 'reactivity' in the dog world, this is a must listen episode!
If you have or have had a reactive dog, I have no doubt this episode will have you nodding in agreeance.
While Zelda was a completely unplanned suprise, followed by more unexpected surprises in the form of health issues, the biggest challenge for Anastasia was Zelda's reactivity.
And while life with Zelda wasn't exactly as Anastasia had always imagined and hoped life with a puppy/young dog would be like, some incredible lessons came out of their 11 years together.
Anastasia learnt what reactivity was, what it meant for Zelda, and the life they would have together.
With the help of a trainer, persistence and patience from Anastasia, and a whole lot of trust between her and Zelda, they learnt how to make the best of life together.
Time spent with Zelda also inspired Anastasia to write a kids book about a reactive dog, titled 'Zoodle needs space'. Anastasia's hope is that the book can spread awareness more widely for generations to come, about reactivity in dogs, what it looks like, and how to understand what the dog is trying to tell us.
This episode is a beautiful reminder that while life doesn't always serve us what we had envisaged, it is up to us to make the best of what we have. And while life may look 'different' to what we had hoped, it can still be incredibly beautiful.
