Inspired by the loss of our beautiful red cattle dog Abby, this podcast was born from the desire to keep her memory alive. A legacy to honour the incredible girl she was, and the huge impact she had in our home and heart.

In this episode we talk to Mikaela about the veterinary nursing industry.
From starting a degree in journalism, to transitioning to veterinary nursing, Mikaela shares how entering the industry came about for her and how she gained qualifications.
Mikaela shares what a day looks like in a general practice clinic, the biggest challenges faced in the industry, and some of her most memorable and favourite experiences during that time.
Mikaela also talks about entering a specialist area as a veterinary nurse working in dermatology, how it differs from working in a general practice clinic, and the many interesting facets to this area.
This episode blew my mind! It was so fascinating, and I really enjoyed learning all about dermatology as a specialty area within the veterinary nursing industry; what's involved, the geographical areas the team covers, and the logistics of it all!
