In this episode we chat to Kyriacos Demetriades, a distinguished alumnus of the English School Nicosia, discussed his book "The English School Nicosia, 1900s to 1960," which documents the school's history during British colonial rule in Cyprus. Mr. Demetriades highlighted the school's diverse student body, including Greeks, Maronites, Armenians, and Turks, and its role in shaping the civil service. He emphasised the school's principles of equality, honour, and character building. Mr.Demetriades also reflected on his own experiences as a boarder and the importance of preserving the school's legacy through a museum and continued alumni engagement.
