187. When You Struggle with Anger: James 1:19-20

When anger rises quickly, James 1:19–20 calls us to a better way: “Let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.” Anger often feels justified, but Scripture reminds us it rarely leads to anything good. Instead, God invites us to slow down, to listen before reacting, and to reflect His character—not our impulses. In Christ, we are being formed into people who respond with grace, not rage. If you're struggling with anger, run to the Savior who is slow to anger and full of mercy, and let His righteousness shape your response.
