God’s love is revealed most clearly at the cross. In 1 John 4:9–10 and Romans 5:8, Scripture shows us that God loved us when we were sinners, sending His Son to die in our place. This sacrificial, initiating love melts our pride and awakens true worship. When we behold the wonder of being loved by God, our hearts are stirred toward humility, gratitude, and deeper devotion.
