“May we worship Jesus Christ.”
Welcome to Moments of Worship. I'm Pastor Keith McMahon, Worship Pastor at Bethel Baptist Church in Yorktown, Virginia. Thank you for listening to this podcast on February the 4th, Wednesday. God works all things for his glory, doesn't he? He is sovereign and we can only just scratch the surface of seeing how he takes his thread, if you will, and weaves everything in our life and other people's lives for his glory. I was thinking about this scripture tonight as I was reflecting on my life and what the Lord is doing in ways in my life that I would never think would take place and how he would put all things together for his glory. Job forty two two. I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted. Job says, I know that you can do all things all things, and we know reading this scripture that God is all powerful. No purpose of his can be thwarted. He raised his son from the dead. We see there the greatest display of his omnipotence. Dear friend, in this brief episode today, as we're thinking about God's power in our lives and his sovereignty, may we reflect on every moment of God's care for us. We can't see how he is working all things for his glory, how he is building his church. We can only see that in a fraction of a way. But God sees everything. He knows it all. And he's good, he's loving, he's holy, he never changes. He is a merciful God. He knows all things. He is good He is just This is the God of the Bible who cares for you and I. God is intimately acquainted with every detail of our lives. May we step back today and reflect and marvel at God's working in our life, for He can do all things, all things, and no purpose of His can be thwarted. He is working all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Friend today our application is may we trust Him today with our lives. I'm not sure what you're gonna face and maybe what situation you're in. Maybe it's a sunshine day or maybe you feel like you're covered with clouds. Know that Almighty God who made the heavens and the earth cares for you, He loves you, He is using you for His glory in ways that we can only faintly begin to understand. And let's remember that God can do all things and no purpose of His can be thwarted. Friend, thank you for joining me on Moments of Worship. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow. And until then and forever, say it with me. May we worship Jesus Christ. Thanks for listening.
