388. Saved by Grace Alone (Our Great God)

In this episode, we walk through Ephesians 2:1–10 and behold the stunning grace of God in salvation. We were once “dead in the trespasses and sins” in which we walked, following the course of this world and living under God’s just wrath. But “God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us,” made us alive together with Christ. “By grace you have been saved”—not a result of works, but the gift of God, so that no one may boast. Now, as those raised with Christ, we are “his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” This passage humbles us, exalts Christ, and calls us to walk in the good works flowing from His saving grace.
