Psalm 11 calls believers to place their confidence in the Lord when evil appears to threaten the foundations of society. Rather than fleeing in fear, David takes refuge in the God who reigns from heaven. The Lord's throne is unshaken, His purposes cannot fail, and His justice will ultimately prevail. The hope of God's people rests not in earthly circumstances but in the sovereign King who rules over all things.
