426. The Fool Says, There Is No God (Psalm 14)

Psalm 14 gives a sobering diagnosis of the human condition: apart from God’s grace, no one seeks Him and every part of our nature is corrupted by sin. Yet this psalm does not leave us in despair. The God who looked down from heaven and found no one righteous is the same God who sent Christ, the only righteous One, to seek and save sinners. Through His life, death, and resurrection, we are forgiven, declared righteous, and brought near to God by grace alone through faith alone.
