In Psalm 17:1–7, David brings an honest and sincere prayer before the Lord, asking God to hear his cry, examine his heart, and guide his steps. This passage reminds us of the importance of integrity before God, guarding our words, walking according to His Word, and approaching Him with confidence in prayer. As David seeks refuge in the steadfast love of God, we too are invited to find our safety, hope, and confidence not in ourselves but in the faithful God who hears the prayers of His people.
