What's up, my people? It's your boy Prophecy here with another episode of Psalmist Ciphered. Let's go. Let's start with a prayer. Father, thank you for another day. Thank you for all the blessings you give us. Thank you for always being the guiding light, lord, the light that shines our path, and for your forgiveness and mercy. In the book of Matthew, you told us many are called but few are chosen. I say that for anybody that's listening to this podcast, to this episode, that if they feel that fire that's burning inside and that calling for them to have the courage to pursue it in Jesus name, amen.
Speaker 1:I wanted to make this episode to pretty much tell you where we're going to go with this. From this point forward. I've been reaching out to a few people. What I want, and I envision Psalmist Cypher being, is where we can share Christian hip-hop, what we like about Christian hip-hop, the artist, the music and all of that type of stuff. Right, the problem I'm having here is that most music that we listen to that's Christian hip-hop, either on Apple or Spotify or wherever you listen to it at is a lot of copyrighted material, and if you know anything about podcast, youtube videos or anything that goes online, there's a big issue with copyright. You know copyrighted material, and the last thing I want is to cause any problems on this podcast either. For myself, have this taken down, because I'm doing something unethical. We don't want that. That's not what I'm trying to do here or what I'm trying to promote. So, moving forward, I am going to be reaching out. Actually, I like this idea a lot better. All right, I'm going to be reaching out to more of the amateur Christian hip hop artists. Yeah, because there's a lot of talent out there that is trying to make their come up, or they just haven't caught their break just yet, or they're starting to get the ball rolling and they will be a little bit more accessible for us at Psalm and Cypher. Because, to be honest, let's be honest, I'm starting this off right now too. So I'm still, you know, dragging my feet through the mud and stuff like that and trying to figure things out, and I think we could help each other right.
Speaker 1:So, any of you Christian hip hop artists, poets, anything of that sort If you're a creator of any type of poetry the edgy poetry I love that stuff, I do it myself and Christian hip-hop you want to go ahead and reach out to me. You can reach out to me on Facebook. That's where I'm most active at, but I am also active on Instagram, on TikTok, on YouTube and across anything at Saul Mesaifer. All right, so you can find me through there. But submit your stuff or reach out to me mainly DM me on Facebook and we can collab with each other and get an interview and show the people you know, the audience, who you are, showcase your music. See that that's also a plus right there, because we get the, the amateurs in right and they're consenting to to us putting their music online right, so that's a lot better for us.
Speaker 1:We get to hear some music. We get to comment and and share and help the artists out right, it helps the podcast out. You get to hear good music, all right, and we get to also learn from this artist. See what, how was they saved? What drove them to do hip-hop, christian hip-hop, who's their favorite rapper? As a Christian hip-hop artist, rapper, or even outside of it, who's influenced them? Because sometimes they get, you know, sometimes I get influenced by people who aren't Christian hip-hop artists, aren't a Christian hip-hop artist. So, point being that I want to be able to bring these people onto the podcast, so, like that we could pick their brain right, listen to some good music.
Speaker 1:Also, I want to include the word in each episode. All right, we'll have a piece where we go over some scripture and I want you to be able to comment how that scripture affects you or what you have received from it. If you heard it before and, if not, if it's new, you could comment that too. I want you to be very active. Put the comments down on the YouTube section, on wherever you're listening to this at or watching that. I'll be sure to respond to as many comments as possible. And we're still going to talk about the more popular hip-hop artists, all right, because I I like a bunch of them, all right.
Speaker 1:So I was also thinking and you can comment on this and tell me if that's a good idea, if you're liking the idea or whatever. Whoever's on the podcast on that episode will ask them who their favorite rapper is Christian hip hop artist, right, and their song will still put the Spotify list with that song up. If you haven't heard it before, so you can still get it, still provide a value, and I might compare their song to another song or a rapper that I'm familiar with. Put that in the Spotify list, along with their music. So providing value, providing their links to their socials and all of that giving you the best experience that Psalm and Cypher can provide. So this is what I need for you to do.
Speaker 1:All right, if you could think of anything that a help or that you would like the show to have, all right, please put in the comment section. I'll read it up. You know. I'll go ahead and make a video of how we'll format this or whatever, but for right now, this is what we're moving with. I look forward to hearing from you. Hit the like, subscribe, follow button, all of that. Check me out on all the different platforms. I'm going to be putting up all types of different uh content across the other different platforms for entertainment and all of that stuff, and stay blessed. See you on the next one. One God.
