On Saturdays, you’ll hear an engaging story, and on Sundays, we explore artistic topics. Like a real magazine, these podcasts cover current issues, culture, society, and history in clear, easy-to-understand English. If you’re interested in learning English and understanding the world around you, this podcast is for you. With me, you’ll not only practice English but also gain a broader perspective on the world.

Bucket list
is a list of things you want to do or experience before you die — or simply before a big stage in life ends.
Examples:
1- Climbing Mount Fuji is on many travelers’ bucket lists.
2- He finally checked “run a marathon” off his bucket list.
Hello and welcome back to Daily English! Today’s phrase is inspiring and fun: “bucket list.”
One more time: bucket list.
Imagine you’ve always wanted to see the Northern Lights or visit Japan. That’s probably on your bucket list.
– Or maybe you dream of writing a book or learning a new language. That belongs on your bucket list, too.
A bucket list is a list of things you want to do or experience before you die — or simply before a big stage in life ends.
1. Visiting Paris was always on her bucket list.
Climbing Mount Fuji is on many travelers’ bucket lists.
He finally checked “run a marathon” off his bucket list.
This phrase became popular after the 2007 movie The Bucket List, where two men make a list of dreams to complete before they “kick the bucket” — a humorous idiom meaning to die.
So, what about you? What’s one thing on your bucket list — something you’ve always dreamed of doing? Please don’t forget to share it in the comments section, that would be interesting to read.
