This podcast is created by Jale, an English teacher with 13 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from Canada, who teaches with patience, clarity, and care, and believes learning works best when students feel seen, respected, and safe to think aloud.
The goal is simple but meaningful: to help you understand English deeply, use it confidently, and connect it to your real life. English here is not just a skill. It’s a gentle companion for clearer thinking, honest expression, and deeper human connection.

Hello and welcome to Daily English, where we explore ideas that help us grow — in English and in life. Today’s concept is simple but surprisingly deep. It’s called The Paradox of Relaxation.
What It Means Have you ever tried too hard to relax — to fall asleep, meditate, or stop worrying — and noticed that the more you tried, the harder it became?
That’s the Paradox of Relaxation. When we force ourselves to be calm, our mind resists.
But when we stop trying and simply allow, calm often arrives on its own.
It’s like holding water in your hand — the tighter you squeeze, the less you can keep.
True relaxation comes when we let go of control, not when we chase it.
Expression of the Day: Go With the Flow The phrase “go with the flow” means to stop fighting what’s happening and move with it instead.
