Daily English Pod
Daily English Pod is a space for learning English beyond grammar and textbooks.
During the week, you’ll learn practical vocabulary, expressions, idioms, and real-life English, the language people actually use in everyday conversations, emotions, and work.
On weekends, we slow down. Through ideas from psychology, philosophy, and real human experience, we explore language as a way to better understand life, emotions, identity, and growth.
This podcast is created by Jale, an English teacher with 13 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from Canada, who teaches with patience, clarity, and care, and believes learning works best when students feel seen, respected, and safe to think aloud.
The goal is simple but meaningful: to help you understand English deeply, use it confidently, and connect it to your real life. English here is not just a skill. It’s a gentle companion for clearer thinking, honest expression, and deeper human connection.

Hello and welcome to Daily English. Today’s word is full of freedom.
It describes that deep, beautiful feeling when something heavy finally leaves your heart.
The word is: “liberating. One more time: liberating Imagine you’ve been afraid to speak your mind for years. One day, you finally say what you feel — honestly, calmly, clearly —
and you realize a weight has lifted off your shoulders.
That feeling… is liberating. What do you think it means?
Liberating means freeing — giving you a feeling of freedom, relief, or release, especially after fear, pressure, or control.
Something liberating helps you breathe again.
Examples:
After years of comparing herself to others, she stopped — and it was liberating.
Many people find learning to say “no” when they need to is liberating.
Writing about his pain was liberating — it helped him finally let go.
For some women, removing the pressure to be “perfect” feels liberating.
Being liberated doesn’t always mean running away —
Sometimes it means standing still and realizing you don’t need anyone’s permission to be yourself.
Now what’s one thing that would feel truly liberating for you —
something you could let go of, change, or finally say out loud? Please share your example sentences, feedback, and ideas in the comments section.
