Two Years Together

As we begin our third year together, I hope Daily English Pod continues to be something useful in your life. A place to learn. A place to reflect. A place to discover a new expression. Or simply a calm few minutes in a busy day. And maybe this new beginning can be a new beginning for you, too — a quiet reminder that even the smallest steps can matter, and that the goals you carry in your heart are still worth returning to .

Hello and welcome to Daily English Pod. Today's episode is a little different.

Because today marks the second anniversary of this podcast. And before anything else, I simply want to say:

Thank you. Two years ago, Daily English Pod began with a very simple goal.

Many of my students struggled with phrasal verbs, idioms, and everyday English expressions, but they often didn't have much time to study.

So I thought: What if I created something short, practical, and easy to fit into a busy day?

That's how Daily English Pod started. And now what amazes me most is not the number of episodes. It's not the downloads. It's the fact that people I have never met have chosen to spend a few minutes of their day with me. Again and again. For two years.

Some of you listen on your way to work. Some of you listen while exercising. Some of you listen while doing chores, driving, studying, or relaxing after a long day. Some of you listen on happy days, and some of you may listen when your heart feels heavy. And although we've never met, in a small way, we've become part of each other's routines.

Over the past two years, I’ve received messages from listeners around the world. Some shared their progress. Others simply said hello.

And every message reminded me that behind every play button is a real person with a unique story. And that means more to me than you might imagine. and so I always record the episodes with a lot of love and hope that the episode brightens your day even a bit.

If you've listened to one episode, thank you. If you've listened to one hundred episodes, thank you. If you've been here from the beginning, thank you. You are the reason this podcast still exists today.

As we begin our third year together, I hope Daily English Pod continues to be something useful in your life. A place to learn. A place to reflect. A place to discover a new expression. Or simply a calm few minutes in a busy day. And maybe this new beginning can be a new beginning for you, too — a quiet reminder that even the smallest steps can matter, and that the goals you carry in your heart are still worth returning to

Thank you for being part of this journey and thank you for your support.

I truly appreciate it.

See you in the next episode.
