When K.Flay lost the hearing in her right ear in 2022, she could have kept the news private. Instead, she built an entire album around the experience.
Released in the spring of 2023, MONO addressed her new reality head on. The opening track “Are You Serious?” details her frustration with the situation.
In November, K.Flay dropped I’m Making Friends with the Silence, an EP with softer reworked songs from MONO. She’s now preparing for a full North American tour.
