Faith Science
Welcome to Faith Science, a podcast where faith and science intersect in fascinating conversations. Join us as we talk with guests about how their pursuit of knowledge and understanding has affected their faith in God. In a world where atheism often claims science as its own, we present a different narrative: the pursuit of knowledge in science can coexist with and even strengthen belief in the Divine. Faith Science offers a unique perspective with inspiring stories, thoughtful reflections, and a celebration of the harmony between belief and empirical discovery.

Robert Hausman is an attorney and advisor who has served in senior positions under the Clinton administration. He has taught courses on public policy, law, and cybersecurity at institutions such as Syracuse University and the University of Maryland. He is currently working on a book about the emerging ability of humans to genetically enhance and modify themselves. He calls this "playing God" and is concerned about the potential conflicts between enhanced and natural individuals.
He and Jerry discussed his background and what led to him writing this book, how the existence of genetic code that can be modified suggests the existence of a God who created the code, and how the Bible has answers to the moral and ethical questions that arise from genetic engineering.
