we laughed our hearts out with the Syrian comedian from Homs, Badih Al-Bawab. He told us a myriad of jokes and true stories that happened to him. He also explained how he built his comedic personality on social media, alongside his work as an architect in real estate marketing in Dubai. He also imitated many Syrian and other dialects, and shared with us many secrets of Homs society, including the story of the historical dispute between Homs and Hama regarding halawat al-jibn (the sweetest halva in Arabic), and other disputes that never went beyond the bounds of humor and endearing sarcasm.
