F1 Vegas Recap with Shaun White, Yuki Tsunoda, and Liam Lawson

I drove out to Vegas last week for the second annual Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, and let me tell you—it completely rocked. Watching Max Verstappen lock in his fourth championship on the neon-lit streets of Sin City? Pure F1 spectacle.

This is a jam-packed episode of the Mostly Occasionally Show, recapping the weekend in my own peculiar way.

The racing was incredible, but as with all these events, the real highlight? The people.

At the very top of this episode, you’ll hear me doing a hot lap with none other than Frankie Muniz—yep, Malcolm in the Middle himself—who’s now tearing it up as a NASCAR driver, in a Ford Mustang Dark Horse.

I also caught up with the legendary G.O.A.T. snowboarder Shaun White, who had his own wild F1 Vegas experience that included a bar tour with Patrón Tequila at the Wynn. It was cool to chat with him about the weekend after the fact. He told me about his hot laps with Frankie Muniz and shared an unbelievable story about snowboarding on a glacier in Antarctica with F1’s G.O.A.T., Lewis Hamilton. Casual. And ridiculously cool.

And because no west coast F1 road trip is complete without some burger talk, I talked with Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson about their In-N-Out orders.

Big shout out to the folks at Ford for some great hangs over the weekend—they’re gearing up to join F1 with Red Bull Racing in 2026 after a 20+ year hiatus, and it’s going to be epic.

Two little corrections here on my part: In my intro, I said the Red Bull Energy Station was in between turn three and four, but I messed that up. It was right after turn two on the Las Vegas Grand Prix track. Also, I said that Zedd was episode two of The Mostly Occasionally Show. Wrong! Zedd was episode 2. Just gotta check myself before I wreck myself. Hey, I was going off the rip. I was mostly occasionally right!
