Hannah Castillo:  Welcome to the Love your Calm Podcast Mini Meditations to help you slow down and find your balance in this fast-paced world.

Hello and welcome.

This week's meditation is focused on meeting yourself wherever you are today,on showing yourself compassion, understanding that however you're feeling right now is okay.

Let's get started.

Take a moment to find a comfortable position, whatever that feels like for you today. You can take any movements you need to help you really settle in. If it's comfortable for you, consider closing your eyes or maybe just soften your gaze.

Let's take one intentional breath here together.  Inhale deeply, feeling your stomach gently rise. Hold it for a moment and exhale slowly through your mouth, releasing any stress or tension you may be holding.

I invite you to begin to shift your focus within. Take a moment here to really check in with yourself, to slow down and acknowledge any feelings you may be experiencing in this moment. There's no need to change anything, no need to judge whatever comes up. Give yourself permission to simply acknowledge whatever arises for you to meet yourself with understanding. It's okay if you recognize you've been feeling overwhelmed, or maybe you notice some anxiety, sadness, anger, or maybe even a sense of helplessness. It's okay if you're tired or even just feel worn out. However you are feeling is okay.

Giving yourself this time to begin to recognize these feelings, to check in can also help you identify what you may need in this moment. Take a moment here to reflect on this and to identify one choice you can make today to support yourself, to honor how you are feeling and your needs.

Take a couple of rounds of breath here, grounding yourself in this intention and when you are ready, begin to bring your awareness back to the space around you. Take any movements you may need and when it feels comfortable for you, slowly open your eyes.
