Hannah Castillo: Welcome to the Love Your Calm podcast. Mini meditations to help you slow down and find your balance in this fast-paced world. Hello and welcome.

Sometimes it seems like we are always racing through life, trying to mark things off the list, trying to reach whatever goals we've set for ourselves. And it can feel frustrating when it seems like that's not happening quickly enough.

This week's meditation is a reminder to slow down, Embrace your journey and trust the timing of your life.

 Let's get started.

Begin by finding a position that feels comfortable for you today. Take any movements you might need, maybe stretching a little, whatever you need to help your body settle into a position that feels good for you. If it feels safe for you, consider closing your eyes, or maybe just soften your gaze as your breath settles into its natural rhythm.

Bring your awareness to the present moment. Take a moment to reflect on this calm concept of the timing of your life. Acknowledge any thoughts or feelings that may arise about this timing. Whether it's anxiety about the future, regret about the past, or maybe even impatience with the present, there's no need to change anything. Simply acknowledge these thoughts as they arise and return your focus to your breath.

As you continue with your breath, use the inhales to invite in a sense of peace. And on the exhales, give yourself permission to release any worries you may be holding. To let go of any judgments you have about where you think you should be at this point in your life.

If it feels comfortable for you, begin to picture a flowing river in your mind. See it gently winding its way through the landscape, effortlessly navigating obstacles and bends. Imagine that this river represents your life's journey, moving at its own pace. Just as the river knows when to flow fast and when to slow down, so do you.

Each moment is essential for your growth, each twist and turn, working to navigate an obstacle and move you toward your destination.

As you breathe in, invite in the sense of peace that comes from trusting in this journey. And with the exhale, release any pressure you feel to rush or to compare yourself to others. Allow yourself to embrace the flow of your own life, trusting that you are on the right path. Trusting that you are right on time.

Take a couple of rounds of breath here on your own, using this space to reinforce your connection to the present moment and your faith in your unique path to embrace the understanding that everything unfolds in its own perfect time.

To trust the timing of your life and when you are ready, gently bring your awareness back to the space around you. Take any movements you may need and when it feels comfortable for you, slowly open your eyes.

Carry this sense of trust and acceptance with you as you move through your day, remembering that your journey is unfolding exactly as it needs to, step by step.
