Hannah Castillo: Welcome to the Love Your Calm podcast. Mini meditations to help you slow down and find your balance in this fast-paced world.

Hello and welcome.

With so much going on in the world, it's easy to get lost in the noise, to feel overwhelmed by the constant stream of information coming at you from all directions. Sometimes we forget how much power there can be in slowing down and reconnecting with that inner voice and taking time to really listen.

This week's meditation invites you to do just that. Give yourself a few minutes to step away from the noise, to truly listen, so you can respond in a way that feels good for you-instead of reacting in the moment.

Let's get started.

Take a moment to find a position that feels good for you today, whatever that may mean for you. You can take any movements you may need to help you really get settled. Once you are comfortable, consider closing your eyes if you would like, or maybe just soften your gaze.

Let's take one intentional breath here together to help settle into this practice. Inhale deeply through your nose, filling your lungs completely. Hold it for a moment and then exhale slowly through your mouth, releasing any tension or distractions you may be holding today.

As your breath continues naturally, I invite you to begin to shift your awareness to the sensations in your body. Take a moment here to check in with any sensations you notice today. Maybe even take note of how your body feels against the surface beneath you, of the support this offers as your breath flows naturally, finding its own steady rhythm.

When you are ready, give yourself permission to begin to shift your attention within. Take a moment here to acknowledge any thoughts and feelings that may arise, letting them pass through without any judgment, simply acknowledging their presence.

Continue to focus inward, beginning to tune in to your intuition, that inner voice that exists in the stillness. This voice is your guide, your compass. When given the chance, it can offer clarity and truth.

Take a couple of rounds of breath here, trusting in your ability to listen to this voice and recognize its guidance. To trust this knowing and to accept that the answers you are looking for can be found in this quiet that exists within. Give yourself the space to listen, to feel, to recognize that you don't need to have it all figured out.

You only need to trust yourself and to recognize that no matter where the path leads you get there one step at a time. Take one final round of breath here, using your exhale to release any lingering fears or doubts that may cloud your judgment, giving yourself permission to remain open to the wisdom you hold.

And when you are ready, gently bring your awareness back to the space around you Take any movements you may need, and when it feels comfortable for you in your own time, slowly open your eyes, feeling relaxed, more centered, and ready to return to your day.
