Today, I’m joined by the incredible Ann & Sally, the powerhouse duo behind the 1% Happier & Healthier podcast. These two women are living proof that transformation has no limits 

Ann and Sally are inspiring proof that reinvention, growth, and purpose don’t come with an age limit.. they come with intention.

Ann began her career as a decorated Metropolitan Police detective, earning multiple Commissioner’s Commendations for her work on serious crime cases. After becoming a mum to twin boys, she took the bold step to leave policing and build her own businesses. Today, she works a few hours a week doing what she loves: supporting her local community and co-hosting the 1% Happier & Healthier podcast.

Sally brings over 25 years of leadership in technology, having led major teams and projects across Civil Service departments. An engineering graduate, Fellow of the IET (FIET), and qualified coach, she’s a passionate advocate for equality, diversity, and inclusion - and a mentor to women stepping into leadership.

Together, Ann and Sally launched their podcast in their 50s to share real, relatable conversations around personal development, wellbeing, and mindset - all while training for the ultimate fitness challenge: Hyrox. Their mission? To help women everywhere feel 1% Happier and Healthier every day!
