My first dog was named after a French ice skater. Her name was Shauchi. Shauke. S J O U K J e Schaukee. That's a French name, believe it or not. I think it was. I think it was French. At least my. My mother told me it was French. Hey, welcome back to she Said. She Said. I'm Deb Reinhart, and I am a corporate executive by day and a medit teacher and coach by evening. And if you think there's something a little bit different happening here, we probably should call this episode, she Said, they Said. Because today Pam is traveling. And so I get the joy of getting to talk with my bonus child, Wen Wen Dar. Yeah, here I am. Hi. Usually behind the camera alongside Frances. I know. How does it feel to be out on this side of the camera? Uncomfortable. Real uncomfortable. I know. This is an opportunity for people to get to know you, though. It's really awesome. Yeah, it's really awesome. So what's been going on. What's been going on in your life this week? I'll tell you some buying later. Oh, my gosh. Well, as you know, my sister's pregnant. I know. And I went to see her recently in Raleigh with my mom. She was visiting a friend, and she and my other sister Allison, and I. And my mom hung out. And I totally forgot that I took a picture of Allison's gift to her because Allison drove up from Augusta to Raleigh and she stopped at a buc EE's on the way, of course, as you do. And she got Monica a cute little baby, like, onesie with Buc EE's all over it. I'll have to put up the picture. And a little sun hat. It's adorable. I cannot wait. I cannot wait for that baby. First of all, because it's just wild to me to think that, oh, my gosh, she's going to be a mom. Yeah. And. And you're gonna be. And you're gonna be an aunt again. Again. I have two nieces and two nephews, so this is number five. Yeah. Been there, done. But it's gonna be cool to have a baby in the. In the family. We haven't had one. Babies are the best in, like 10 years. Eight years. Babies are the best. I don't know. They smell good. They feel good. That's what they say when they're not stinky. They smell good at first. Hopefully I can. I can go down to Little Rock and be there around. Around the birth time. I won't bother her in the labor. Yeah. Delivery room, like, late August. Okay. August 25th or so. But, yeah. Yeah, lots of exciting stuff going on in my family. My dad's coming in April to watch a Flyers game. Nice. Nice. I haven't seen anything at the. I don't think I've seen anything at the Wells Fargo yet. I haven't. I haven't been down at the Wells Fargo center in, like, for literally ever. I can't remember the last time I. Was there, and I haven't seen a hockey game. I can vaguely remember. I haven't seen a hockey game in forever. Oh, I know. I saw. I saw a concert. We saw Bonnie Raitt and James Taylor at the concert. It was a great concert. I bet that's a great concert. When was that? Years ago. Many years. Too many years ago, probably, to talk. But they were still great. They were still great in concert. Yeah. I always wanted to see James Taylor in concert. And I love Bonnie Raitt. And she was. She was awesome. I mean, they were both really amazing. Was it like an opener for one of them or. They were just sort of like, after. They were. They were together. It was like. Like they did. They each did sets and they set. Did set together. It was really awesome. And we were on the floor. We were probably, I don't know, five, ten rows back. It was really. Yeah. So it was nice. We were close. We could see. It was perfect. Perfect. I'm excited to experience the crazy Philly fans. I mean, like, I. I have, since moving here, now with two Super Bowls, have experienced the Eagles craziness. Yeah. But now I'm excited to witness the Flyers craziness and see Grady in person. It's a whole different thing. It's a whole different thing. I mean, I love. I actually enjoy seeing hockey in person. I never. I could never get into it. Like, my stepfather watched hockey all the time on television. I hated it. He did it. It. Hated it. It's not really a TV sport. Like, it's not. But when you go in person, what you. What you really can't appreciate is, like, there's, like, all of this quiet. Like, there's a. There's a lot of quietness to, like, skating across the ice. You hear, like. Yeah. And it's so. Until they hit the boards, and then it's like, boom. Like, scares the crap out of you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And it's so cold. Oh, I can't wait to be in a cold, cold ice rink. It's your. It's your happy place. Yeah. My dad used to play. Well, I think he actually does sometimes, but he Used to play ice hockey when I was in high school and I would come watch games sometimes and just skate in the. Like the free time. Oh, that's awesome. I really like ice skating. I need to get back to it. If I. If I jump into it, though, my calves and my feet are going to murder me. They will. But they may really. But they may also really like you. If you do it after some. Yeah. After some work. Although now's not the time to get back into it. April, do you know that it's going to be 78 degrees today? It's April. What? Third? Tell me how that makes you feel when bad. I know it makes you feel good. I moved up here to be cold. I wanted to be cold. I think you have to still. I think you have to go farther north still. You may have to follow Lindsay and Ericut to Iceland. Oh, my God. I can't wait to hear about the updates from that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's. That's probably been one of the. That's been one of the big things that's been going on is getting. Getting Ericu ready to go visit Iceland. And hopefully Lindsey goes along with her. I think she's planning to go along with him and get to see what it looks like there. I get a sense of, is that the place I want to go and spend a few years of my life? This could be wild. And we're going in the summer anyway, so I'm excited to visit. You've been now I've been. And actually, I think I'm going to go back again at least once before we go as a family in July because I've been told that I am now. I'm now going to be part of some integration extravaganza. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So it's fun. Yeah. Work has been crazy. So my. Yeah, that's like, like, like in my world, work has been absolute insanity. Somebody's told me, Somebody asked me, like, how do you feel going back to work? How long has it been? It is almost on the 14th of April. It will be six months. Geez. Half a year. I guess. I guess it makes sense because at the end of last year. Wow. Corporate sabbatical. Corporate sabbatical. Over. Over. Like that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So lots going on. I'm like crazy, crazy hours. Which, you know, it is because the company that I work for is on the west Coast. I live on the east coast. And when things get hot as they currently are, you know, I work my more. I work my east coast hours. And then I Continue working while my west Coasters are still, still in the office. So it's there. We've had some long days. Long days, but usually late mornings, which is something. Yeah. I saw Wednesday, so that, that is one of the things I'm trying to really, really honor for myself. So I take my voice lesson on Wednesday morning. So that is huge. Good way to start the day for you. It's a great way to start the day for me. So, so good. And that has been like, like the last couple weeks have been like truly eye opening from a, from a, from a voice perspective. Yeah. Discovering your ameto a Metzo surprise. Go figure. And like, and, and still some. There are times when Uhler's like, will look at me and she goes. I don't know what the word she uses, like schwitzen fach or something like that. It's like, it's like when you're like in between things. She's like, you are like in this weird place. And I'm like, great. I love being in a weird, flexible place. Flexible, wide range. Can go up, can go down. I've got it all going on. There you go. I know God is just figure that thing out. But so yeah, I love having a little bit of flexibility in the morning. So like I had yesterday I had my voiceless and this morning I had, you know, breakfast with a friend, which is, which is nice. And then the day will start and. It will keep going and here it is. And you get to talk to me on a podcast. I love that podcast. Another perfect start to. That's my favorite part. Yeah. And when, like, while Pam is, well, Pam's way, I get to play with, with her, with her people, which is also so much fun. Yeah, so much fun. So do we have something exciting going on today from a. A gaming perspective? We do. We're going to play Two truths and a lie again. I did prepare. I did think of them ahead of time. I know it's going to be a little bit harder. It's gonna be super hard. Know you. It's my kid. How do you, how do you do that? Yeah, well, I'll give you some time to think about it if you haven't already. Do you wanna, do you wanna write it down? I haven't. My mother told me it was French. Okay. My first serious crush was a year older than I. Okay. And the second was. My name was supposed to be Deidre. That rings a bell. Or maybe it was something similar than that, but I feel like I remember having that conversation. Maybe the crush. What was her name? What was the name of the crush? If you want to say, you may. Not want to say Jake. Okay. Was he a person who went to your school? Yes. Did he know you had a crush on him? Yeah, we actually dated. Oh, how old were you? Well, you specifically. How old was I when we started. Started when we started going out? 16 maybe. Oh, that was your first crush was at 16? Yeah. Like. Like the first one where I actually, like, would consider, like, going out. You know what I mean? Like, I think I probably had. So maybe crush was not the right word, but, like, the first person that I really kind of seriously dated. And your first dog was Skier. What is Shauki? Shauki. I don't know why I went to Icelandic yogurt, but I wonder. I. I should. Now I'm. Now I'm wondering if that name really was French. But in my head, it was French. Yeah. What kind of dog was it? A mutt, of course. Why would you name a mutt something? Because. Where did that come from? Because my. My. My father or my mother. Which one was it? Wanted to name me Shouty. No, that's crazy. But she wanted to name you Deirdre. But. But I wanted to name me Shouty. But instead they, like, was Nyx. But they agreed that they would name the dog Shouki because Shouki came around at the same time I was born. Okay, I have two thoughts. One. First one does not sound right. I don't think your parents wanted to name you Shouki. Second, I believe that your crush was a year was older than you. However, I feel like he was a couple of years older, not just one. The way you told the story made me think it felt pretty real, but that you got me with the last second on the Shouke. I'm gonna say number one's a lie. No. I win. All right. So my first dog was named Shouke. Now I have to look it up. S J O U K J E Hold On. Gotta look that up. O U J. There cannot be too many Shoukes in the world. S J O U K J E Ice skater. It's. Yeah. It sounds like Shaukee Dijkstra. All right. Dutch. Dutch. Dutch. Okay, okay. Shauki. Rosalind. Wow. Was a Dutch competitive figure skater. And your mom wanted to name you Shauchi, of all things. Yeah. So that name came up. My dad. That's wild. Wanted to name me Deidre, so. And my. But my first serious boyfriend, I guess boyfriend is what I always say. Was actually a year younger than I was. I knew the age was gonna be different. Yeah. Should have gone with my instinct. That was my first thing. And then you tricked me out with Shauke. Yeah. His father owned the town pharmacy, and he was just such a nice guy. He's such a nice guy. He played tennis with my brother. He played tennis with my brother. So you have a whole bunch of normal sibling names and then Shouki. I know. Well, but I was. I was the first. So, like, what a start. What a strong way to start. They didn't do it. They. They didn't do shy. They gave Shouty. The. To the dog. I wonder if you were shi. If all your siblings would have been something. I can't imagine that. They would have been weird. They wouldn't have done that. Can't imagine. You're shy, so. I know. All right, well. All right. Now you go. So your turn. All right. Here. Here. I'm so glad I won. Here we go. All right. Go. Coming home from work, my mom hit my childhood dog with her car and killed her. That's number 1 2. During a girl Scout trip at a museum, one of the snakes got out and bit one of the girls. Not me, but one of the girls. Then the third. In high school, I tattooed a bunch of doodles on a random guy's foot at a house party. Oh, my God. I could imagine all those things being true. Wow. Wow. I think. Any questions? Oh, yeah. What was your dog's name? Abby. What kind of dog was she? She was a. I'm pretty sure she was just a black lab. I think we kind of, like, we didn't really adopt her. I think we got her from a rescue or something. So I don't know if she was like a full black lab, but she felt like a black lab. I think I have pictures of her. She felt labby. Yeah, yeah, yeah. How old were you when your mom hit the dog? Oh, God, maybe four or five. I mean, I barely remember it. The only thing I remember is it's kind of grim. And honestly, I might have made this up as I grew older, and the memory. The memory became. Yeah, yeah. Something fun. I remember my mom walking in holding the dog, and it was really sad, but we buried him in a backyard. Candy dar. Yeah, she. She was a black lab, and it was night, and she ran in the car. I mean. Yeah. You know. Yeah. It happens. Traumatic. I hear you. Huh. What was the guy's name that you tattooed doodles on? His. I don't know. If I thought hard enough about it, I might be able to. I could probably go on Facebook through some mutual friends and find them, but. What kind of tattoo did you use? Like a tattoo? Like a tattoo? Like a machine? Like our own machine? Yep. I don't know why someone had it. I mean, it was someone's house party, so I assume one of the people who lived there probably had it. Unless some weirdo brought it to the party, which, you know, sometimes. What was the name of your friend who was bit by the snake? I don't think she was my friend. I think she was just another. I remember hearing the story like she was another girl Scout, and I woke up in the morning hearing that this horrible catastrophe had happened was like, God, it wasn't me. Did she die? No. Oh, my God. It wasn't a venomous snake. That would have been a big deal. That would have been a big deal. That would have been a huge deal. Probably get sued or something. Yeah, I would imagine. Okay, I. I'm gonna. I'm gonna say I don't think you tattooed doodles on somebody's feet. I think that that's the lie. I think it. It's possible that your mom may have accidentally hit a dog. I could see Candy carrying the dog. Oh, my God. This is hard. Yeah. You did not put doodles on somebody's foot. I did. Oh, my gosh. I have pictures I can show you. They're probably still there. I did a good job. So what was the. So what was the lie? The lie was Candy didn't hit the dog. Somebody else sure did. It was horrible. Oh, my God. So the lie was the snake, but. During a Girl Scout trip at a museum, one of the spiders got out, didn't bite someone, but it did get. Get out and crawled on something. Ew. That's even worse, actually. I don't know if that's worse. I mean, it didn't bite someone. At least. I like spiders and snakes. There's a song like that. I don't like spiders and snakes. You never heard that song. I can't help you with that one. It's from the 70s, probably. I think that's. I think it's from the 70s. I have to look it up. Spiders and snakes. All right, so we both. We both tripped each other up. Yeah. All right. I guess we're good. We're good liars. I mean, I thought ahead on mine, so I really schemed it up. You did. You came up with things I didn't know. So you're. That was hard. It was not easy. But I'm glad that I won. I'm glad I just won just by playing. I won just by playing. Everybody's winner. Awesome. Well, this is it. That's it. All right, game's over. Game over. Game over.
