Robert O’Connor is a penetration tester with strong expertise in Active Directory and internal network assessments. He holds OSCP, CRTO, and CASP+ certifications, along with dual bachelor’s degrees in Network Security and Network Engineering. Currently a Red Team Consultant at OnDefend, Robert previously worked as a government-facing pentester and senior security analyst. His foundation was built through SOC work, Capture the Flag competitions, and cyber challenges like WRCCDC and CPTC, where he consistently placed near the top. Robert is actively pursuing OSCE3, currently focused on completing OSEP and OSED. He sharpens his skills through Hack The Box Pro Labs, preferring realistic environments like Dante and Offshore that emphasize multi-system Active Directory compromise. He’s passionate about identifying misconfigurations, developing practical tradecraft, and continuing to grow as a red team operator.
