>> Ellen:

Hey, guys. Welcome back to Reasonably Certain. My name is Ellen. This is episode 27, and it is the last day of 2024. And if you are not watching the video right now, I finished my first knitting project. If you can see, I'm wearing my Sophie scarf by petite knit that I finished knitting literally last night. I'm so excited. Um. Um. I'm obsessed. I used a, ah ll wool llama fiber. It's very cozy, not itchy, and, you know, it looks a little sillyus. I didn't want to re part my hair to tie it on, but I. You know, if I had a coat on over this and doing, like, the little Olsen sisters s hair tuck with the scarf. Okay. Yeah, it's cute. I need to maybe wash and block it, though, because it is a little tight. But. But it is the large version of the Sophie scarf, if you're curious. So, yeah, it took me 15 hours. Um, but I am very proud of myself because this is my first knitting project that I've ever done with knitting needles. And, yeah, I'm just very proud of myself. Like, I made this. I made this. I made this. I'm so proud of myself. So I get it now. I get it. And now I need to move on to my scap bill sweater that I bought now that I made this beautiful scarf. This is, like, m my baby now. Like, I get it. Like, forever. I'm gonna be like, that's the first thing I made with knitting needles. Like, that's. I made that. So just thought I would share that with you guys. It's, like, perfect timing. Cause I wanted to try and finish it before my next episode and give you a little knitting update. And I did it. So we'll just leave this on the side for now. Also, if you're watching the video, you might be able to see that my hair looks a little different again. I did do my hair for a third time this fall. Yeah. Or this winter. Sorry. I guess I should say this last quarter of the year. Um, but I. I'll put some pictures up because it's just u. Uh, I ran into another hiccup. It was gonna just be, like, a nice toner moment, and I should have gone with my instincts. I should have gone with what I know. But I figured I would try something new and let the employee help me pick something out at the store. So I was at the store yesterday, and if you could see my last episode, my blonde that I did myself. I think I did a pretty good job. But of course, it was starting to look A little bit brassy. So I was like, okay, maybe I'll just throw a quick toner on. Even though I have purple shampoo in my shower. Like, uh, am I dumb? Like, I should have just used that. Hello. Wait, actually, why didn't I do that? I think I wanted something a bit more powerful and not necessarily like purple. I wanted it to be a bit more ashy. Maybe that's why. But now that I'm saying it out loud, I'm like, girl, you're stupid. What the hell? Like, you have purple shampoo in your shower that you could have just put on for five minutes and like, it would have been done. U It was my own fault for wanting to be more, you know, fancy and get a special toner to put all over my hair. So I went to the store after I went to the gym yesterday. First of all, collaps for me. I haven't been in four months, so I've just been donating money to the gym for free, for fun. Um, but I did go to the gym yesterday, and then I was like, oh, my m. God. Like, as long as I, you know, my hair is dirty from the gym, like, I might as well just like, throw a toner on it. Be like, fresh for the new year. Like a nice toned blonde because it was starting to look a bit orange. Uh, and then the lady comes over. Cause she could see I'm, you know, standing there looking at the wall of products for a little while, and she's like, hey, do you need help? Mind you, this is all in Spanish. So, you know, there's definitely a possibility that something got lost in translation as well. But I was like, I necessito al toner. Alun color parapone. And to m Pelo like untonner. Ash. Rubio ash. And, um, that's really all I said. I was like, paratol mello. Rubio ash. Anyway, so she's like, oh, okay. Like, you don't want what you're looking at. And I believe what I had in my hands was two different demi permanent dyes. If I'm remembering correctly. Um, one of them might have had ammonia in it though. So I would have been screwed if I took that home. But I was still trying to do my research and Google, like, should I use this one versus this one? So I was just kind of sitting there on Google, like, while I was looking at different cartons of color. And so then she comes over and helps me and she's like, oh, well, if you want this color, like we were looking in the Wella professionals book in the store. And she's like, oh, well, if you want to be around this tone of blonde. And I was like, yeah, I want, like, this tone of blonde. Um, then she's like, oh, okay. Then you want this box. And I'm like, okay. And so I was like, okay, I want this tone of blonde. I told her, I'm gonna put it all over my whole head. She gives me the Colston Perfect 9 1. And I was like, okay. Went home, looked up the mixing instructions. I should have known because I know that some colors can also provide lift. I don't want lift. I just want tone. I just want, like. If you guys are not familiar, I didn't go to cosmetology school, but I've learned a lot throughout my hair journey this past, uh, few months. If you want to tone your hair, like, you don't want anything with bleach or ammonia in it. You don't want any lightener in your color. Okay, you can get cream color that has, like, lightener in it that can lift your hair one to two levels. That's, like, kind of a lot. U. Um, you just want a toner. So you can either buy something that's specifically formulated to be a toner, or you can just buy, like, a demi permanent color and put it on in a little bit different mixture ratio and put it on for a little bit less time, and it will function as a toner. So I just want something that deposits color, that cancels out the orange, deposit color, cancel out the orange. That's all. I want something to make it a bit more ash. So that's what I was looking for. So she gives me Colston Perfect by wella. That is

9:

1 and has ammonia in it. I didn't realize that when I mixed it up. So'I was gonna mix my or do my hair much earlier, but I was so worried about knitting that I finished knitting, and then it was like, midnight, and I'm like, well, you know, I've done my hair a few times now. Like, just throw a toner on quick and, you know, leave it on my hair, that wet hair, for about, you know, 15 minutes before I jump back in the shower and rinse it out. What could go wrong? So I put it on, and I'm like, hmm, it's feeling a little spicy on my scalp. It's burning a little bit. But I was like, uh, plus, like, this is all my own fault for the most part. I mean, I will say she was. She misguided me a bit with the color. If she would have just given me something that didn't have ammonia, we would have been. We would have been so good, and it wouldn't have been an issue. And if I would have noticed, like, hey, something in the instructions, not in the one that I was looking for, but in one part of the instructions, it says, can provide ly up to two levels. And I was like, hmm, that's weird. Didn't register to me. Okay. I wanted to have, like, a dark, moody shower. And I was listening to an Nema on my phone, and I don't normally do this. I was like, oh, I'm feeling kind of, like, crazy. I'm gonna have, like, a dark shower where I don't turn all the lights on. I just turn the fan light on, which is, like, barely any light. And then I figured, you know, it's enough light to do my hair. Dumb dum dum, dumb. Just turn all the lights on. Ca. Becausee I couldn't see that my hair was turning orange. Okay. I couldn't see that my hair was turning orange. I gave myself hot roots because I applied it mostly at the top of my head and then kind of feathered it through the ends because I wanted most of the power of it right in the front where I did most of my bleaching. Hello. And then I wouldn't mind if it toned some of the weird brownish tones that were going on in the back. Uh, because my natural hair was growing in. And my natural hair tone is much ashier than the demi permanent dye that I had on from trying to fix my bleaching. So there was just, like, a few, you know, undertones of brown going on in the back. And I was like, I wouldn't mind if the toner just kind of whipped everything into shape. And, uh, yeah. So I remember it was on my head for, like, 10 minutes. And I was like, h. Feeling a little. A little prickly up here. I wonder what that could be. So I go in the shower, wash it all off, come back out, turn all the lights on, and I'm like, oh, oh, oh, my roots are bright orange. Oh, I gave myself hot roots at midnight. Oh, thank God. I did it on December 30 and not December 31, because the stores were still open today, thank God. So I just. Yeah, when the store opened this morning, I just went to a different location. Cause I was really nervous to run into the girl who suggested it to me and show up with my hair looking like that. However, like, I should have showed up and been like, Is this what you wanted, like? Cause this is what you gave me. And you can't put, uh, something like that all over your head unless your whole hair is like a bleach and tone blonde. M But mine is, like, very much like a low highlighted balayage. And even on the instructions, now that I look back on it, it's like, really, you should only apply this over the whole head if your whole head is the same color. Mine is not. So, like, she really shouldn't. I was thinking back on it, like, I was the employee. I would never suggest to someone, like, a color with ammonia in it if they have very clearly, like, balayage hair. That's just like, notn toa work unless you apply it, like, really specifically to only the highlighted parts, which is insanely difficult. So I would never give someone a color with ammonia in it to put all over their hair. That just is like, either you're gonna bleach your hair or you're going toa tone your hair or you're going toa put color in your hair. Like, those types of products don't. That doesn't make sense to me. Anyway, Anyway, so I fixed it. Obviously, you can see if you're watching the video, my hair is much darker. Because what I ended up doing was going with what I know, which is L'Oreal Dight Toner. And I really enjoy it. Like, it worked really well on my hair back in September. I used it again in November, and now I use it again today. And I got like, uh. What did I get? 8.1 and 8 and 9.1. Mixed those together to tone my blonde. And this happened, you know, just a few weeks ago when I tonedned into my blonde. The first time I dyed it, it's like a little bit purple. But I was like, if I'm putting this on, I'm not doing it twice. So I'm leaving it on for like, 25 minutes and just letting it do its thing because it will wash out over the next, like, week or so and look like a really nice blonde. Um, but, you know, today it's a bit purple, a bit gray. I'm honestly fine with that. Whatever. My roots, at least they're even. I was really nervous because I got a 7 and a 7 point 11, uh, from L'Oreal permanent color. This is the first time I've used permanent color on my hair, but I kind of had to because I had bright orange hot roots. And I was like, crap, I need to fill the color back in. Like, that looks kind of insane. It doesn't look intentional. So. So, um, I had to get permanent color to put on my roots. And I know from my hairstylist back in Arizona. Hi, Danielle. And, uh, you're watching this. But, um, I didn know that she told me she used redken7n to do a root tap on me when we did my hair in Arizona. So I was likekay, if I go for a seven, that should match my natural color fairly well. Uh, yeah. And I think it did. Like, it looks quite dark. It's definitely darker than my hair is naturally. Like, my hair doesn't grow out on my head quite this dark. Um, but it blended really nicely as far as, like, me bringing it down the side of my head. I also separated it from my money pieces so that I wouldn't get it any of it on my money pieces. And honestly, I'm not mad about it. It's a bit darker than I would like, but I would rather have this than hot roots. You know what I mean? So I'm. I'm really not mad about it. And I think as I wash it over the next week or so, it will look even nicer. So I'm honestly pretty happy with how it turned out. Uh, I'm hoping it will fade to, like, a nice, neutral, mushroomy blonde, and if it slowly fades to be more gold, like, that's fine. But it was just edging on orange, and I would rather have it be cool toned. So, yeah, there's my hair story continued. So I hope that was entertaining for you guys. Um, I, you know, with every, you know, happy little accident, like Bob Ross would say, at least you can take something away from it and learn from it. So now I'm like, okay, literally triple check that whatever you're putting on your hair does not have ammonia in it. Unless you're, like, intentionally doing highlights with, like, a bleaching powder or a bleaching cream. But if it's like a color deposit with ammonia in it, um, or a toner with ammonia, like, don't do it. Just, I think unless you're a professional, just don't. Just don't. Because it's. It's too messy. But, like, now I know. Now I know. And I'm not gonna take advice from employees anymore. Um, every time I learned something, I'm like, I should have just gone with my gut and whatever I was looking up online because I already know that the L'Oreal Delite Toner and the L'Oreal color with no ammonia work great. They gave me this result, it's a very predictable result. I'm happy with it. Okay. Okay. Hair story, done. Knitting, done. Yay. I'm happy for myself. Okay, so it's the last day of 2024, and I'm gonna do a little 2024 rewind. Um, it's actually the evening. And, um, Yoli is coming over soon. And really no exciting plans today other than probably eating some food and finishing our vision boards that I've made, like, three times. But, you know, it can never be refined enough. The more specific you get, the better. So this is probably the fifth revision that I'm doing, but I am not mad about it because I do feel that reviewing it and revising it on a regular basis is the best way to go about it. So we will be doing that tonight. Very exciting. And then, um, I mean, I filmed my episode last week a bit late, uh, for Christmas. So really, there's not much that I've done that you guys haven't heard about since the last episode. Uh, yeah, other than just sleeping and knitting and watching Netflix, that's pretty much what I've been up to. I did post a little 2024 recap rewind video today. That was nice. And I thought that we would start the episode by just revisiting what I did this year. And then also I will go through my 2024 wrapped of the year. So I'll go through music, dating activities to do in Barcelona, makeup items, skincare items, fashion brands, shows of the year, podcast episodes of the year, TikToks of the year, and then my refined list of 2025 goals. And I tried to do my top 10 for each of those, so expect that. But I'm going to first do a quick rewind of my year of 2024. And I hope you have all had an amazing year. I think. I don't know. For me, 2024 was good, 2023 was good, 2022 was okay. Uh, definitely a stressful year. And then 2021 was good because I did end up successfully losing a lot of weight on my own, um, even though I was quite stressed while doing it. And 2020 was honestly, I mean, for everyone, I think we can all agree, just, you know, a real downer of a year. I'm, like, really having a hard time grappling with the fact that 2020 was half a decade ago now, um, when, like, my whole point of reference in my life has been changed to. I think I said this in the last episode, pre2020, and post20020 like for me particularly, and I'm sure for most people, but for me in particular, it is like the milestone of my life. Like, bam. Before, after, like in, um, the previous five years of my life, I'm just like, whoa, whoa. How has it been five years? What the frak? What the frak? So just time has really flown by. I've changed a lot in the last five years and it is really crazy to look back on the last five years and just be like, whoa, what the frak? Oh my God. It's just like the year of realizing things. Like, you know, anyway, let's get back to this year. 2024. So yeah, in January I went hiking a lot. I started my current job. So I'm just coming up on a year at my current regular person job. Uh, in February, I went to Andorra and tried snowboarding for the first time in like 10 years and immediately fell and bruised my tailbone because there was barely any snow and the snow that was there was super icy. So that was just like all around not a good idea. Also, like, I was really wanting to have like the like party on the mountain vibe and that's just not what we were doing. So I was like getting just really disappointed with myself and really frustrated. Um, um. So, you know, not my favorite trip ever. But if I think, if I, if I did another ski or snowboard trip, I think I probably won't go to Indor anyway because I don't know with climate change and stuff, I don't know if it's reliable enough to have a good snow cover there because I just don't want what happened to me last year to happen again where there was basically no snow on the mountain and they were manufacturing at all with the snow machines. And then it was getting really hot during the day where the sun was like beating down on the fake snow or on the man made snow. And then by the evening when the sun went down, it got cold enough that it was freezing. So it was just basically turning into like a sheet of ice and really not enjoyable to snowboard on or ski on. And definitely not to fall on your tailbone on. And that was the first time I've ever hurt my tailbone. And to this day, if I sit too long, um, my tailbone will hurt for like the next 24 hours. So maybe I broke my tailbone. I don't really know what that means. Guys, it's been a year almost and my tailbone still hurts, uh, if I sit too long, especially on certain chairs, like if it's a certain angle that I'm sitting. Ooh, it is not good. So that was fun on one hand, but on the other hand, I, um, bruised my tailbone and didn't get to do the partying that I wanted to do. So maybe it wasn't as fun as I would have hoped. Um, but in February, I also went to the Bad y'concert and that was extremely fun. I'm normally not, like, a huge concert person. Not really into raves, not really into festivals, but I love Bad Gale's music, so I was like, kay, I have to see her. I'm in Barcelona. She's from Barcelona. She's coming to tour in Barcelona. Hello. Uh, and I think it was the best concert I've ever been to. I will say AstroWorld in 2018 in Minneapolis was also really, really good. Um, but I just love Bad Gale way more than I love Travis Scott. So this one was way better. And even though our seats were, like, kind of on the side, like, I was, like, really worried that it wasn't gonna be a good angle. Uh, honestly, it was amazing. Like, the visuals were amazing, the dances were amazing, the set list was amazing. I want to relive that concert over and over again. Speaking of concerts, I saw that Animma played at the Sphere in Las Vegas this weekend, and I've been seeing so many videos about it on my TikTok, and I'm obsessed. Like, I have never considered going to a rave or a festival or anything that has to do with, like, a concert for electronic music before, because 99% of the time, they're outdoors in, like, a festival setting. And I can't stand that. Like, I can't stand bumping into people, being hot, being outside, not having a good view because everyone's on the same, like, ple. So you don't really, like, if unless you're in the front, like, you're probably not getting a great view. Um, plus, like, you're just standing. And, like, really, it's the crowd aspect that bothers me. And not being able to sit unless you have, like, VIP section tickets or something. And even then, like, it's not really as co or as comfortable as I would prefer. So then when I saw it in the setting of the Sphere, where everyone gets, like, really good seats because the seating goes up pretty pretty. Like, uh, like this. Like, oh, my God, am I dumb? Like, the seating increases at a pretty high rate, so everyone gets, like, an amazing view. It's like, omn theeater vibes. You get insane visuals. You're Indoors, it's climate controlled. You can sit. You have your own little ticket with your own little chair and your own little bubble of space. You can sit down, you can dance in place. Like, you don't have to fight for space, like on the floor. Unless you buy floor tickets, I guess. But I would never do that. So I'm just like, oh my God, my world has been changed. I will go to an EDM concert if it's at the Sphere, because the visuals are insane. That's like the best part about it for me. And then also just having like your little bubble of personal space. So if anybody wants to go to a concert at the Sphere, I will go. Uh, anyway, so then in February, I also started going to more pottery classes. Mostly because I was in this group group here called thisiz Am Me. And I was trying to use up on my credits before I cancelld. And uh, so I started going to some pottery classes because I was like, okay, if I'm going toa do an activity, at least like, let me make something that I can take home and actually use. Uh, so I did enjoy the pottery classes, but then they kept like misplacing the pottery that I was making. So I was like, okay, actually maybe let me just hurry up and get, uh, a piece to take home. And then I'm like, not coming back here. So that was pretty short lived. Uh, then in March, my friend Rosie from college came to visit. Well, she came with her family. And then I was like, yeah, of course I want to see you guys. Like, hello. So we went out to El Nacionall and then we went out to a bar later and it was actually super fun. And yeah, then I went to a fluid art painting class, which is this blue painting behind me that you can't fully see. But it was what I made at that fluid art class, uh, which was actually super fun, but super messy. But you know, these paintings behind me I all made at like classes here. Like this one, I forget which month I made these two in, but they were all like in the springtime. So I made this one out of fluid art paint. This one was at like a texture where you take basically like plaster for the wall and you like make a texture on a canvas. And then this one was at Crucopia, which is like an art gallery here. And, um, we were making things inspired by like feminism and flowers. Uh, so I made some PA pink flowers with a little bumblebee in it. So those are all from my classes that I've gone to here just through either girl Groups or just, like, signing up for stuff to, like, go. Go meet people. Then in April, I got my nia, which is Numeroentificado de extrao or something like that. Um, ye. It's like my green card to be able to live here as a European citizen. So I got that. I also went to a polo match. I've been into going to polo once in a while here, uh, because I've never been to polo in the US So now that I have the option to go, like, why not? It's really fun to watch. Uh, I also filmed a podcast on my friend Tally's podcast, which I can link below if you guys haven't checked it out yet. Um, and then in May, I had my 29th birthday, and we went to dinner at this place called Mexica in Gracia, which was very good. I need to go back there soon. And then I also flew to Minnesota for my brother's wedding. And then in June, I went to my brother's wedding, and I started preparing for the launch of my podcast. Actually, I think I technically started preparing for the launch of the podcast in, like, April. And I didn't realize that I did the photo shoot for it at my house in, like, May. So I'I didn't realize, like, I had been preparing for it for, like, a few months. Um, then in July, I actually launched the podcast, and I had my launch party, which was super fun. And then in August, this was another big milestone of my year. Yoli and I went on our Scandinavia trip, which I was looking forward to, like, all year. And then we went to Copenhagen Fashion Week during that trip. And it's, like, just still the highlight of my ear. Like, that was so, so fun. And then in September, I flew back to Minnesota for my friend Chelsea Obed's wedding. And that was really fun because, like, I got to see. Well, they're, like, my favorite couple ever. I got to see them get married. And I also got to see a lot of my friends from university, so that was really fun. I went to the apple orchard in Minnesota. I got my first PRP injections, which would be nice to continue doing, but, like, there's still, like, 4do or $500 per injections. And then, I don't know, I just don't have the m money to keep up with that right now. Uh, I bleached my hair for the first time, and, you know, started at the bottom. Now we're here. Went, um, to the Renaissance Festival for the first time. My sister and I dressed up as wizards. That was really fun. Um, then in October, I was back in Barcelona and I went to my first Barcelona football game with my friend Daniel, who came here from uh, la and decided to take me to a football game that was super fun. Um, um, never been to one before. It was like really fun to be in the stadium and everything. Well, it wasn't even in the comp no stadium because it's under construction. It's like at the stadium on mon week, but it was still fun. And then I went to the csio show jumping competition and then I was tny mcquadod for Halloween. That's another big like, stamp of this year that I remember that sticks out to me because I spent so long working on that dress and that costume to make it like as on point as I possibly could. Because I was like, I'm not just going toa wear any old dress and any old sunglasses. Like, no, no, no. I need it to be like an exact replica of the dress she's wearing in the show and I need the exact sunglasses. So I did get the exact sunglasses, like the exact pair, this same style and everything. And then I made the dress by hand because I couldn't find anything online that was close enough for my perfectionism. Um, and then in November, I got a massage for the first time in like 10 years. And I was so happy that I did it. And like I now I'm addicted. Like this is, this is the slippery slope. Because they were like, as I was checking out from the massage, they're like, oh, well, if you want another massage, you could book it right now and get 10% off. And I'm like, well, it would be nice after I'm on like the high with like the endorphins after the massage. Like of course I'mnna say yes. Hello. So I was like, u yeah, I guess, I guess I will. And then I just got my m second massage like a couple weeks ago and she decided to switch me to like the anti stress massage instead of the um, deep tissue massage that I did the first time. And she like this time I was like, okay, I'm really going to tell her like, what my needs are because I don't really care about getting my legs massaged that much. Um, my back and my neck is like where all my issues are. So, um, she spent most of her time there and she was like, oh, like you have an issue where you're super tight in the front from like slouching so you can't even try to have A good back posture until you, like, work out the fascia and the muscles in the front to loosen them up, and then you can start working on the back. And I was like, oh, now that you explained it like that, it makes a lot of sense. Uh, and she's like, we'll keep working on this the next time you come here. Like, we'll improve it over time. And I'm like, yeah, I'm going to become a regular here. So, yeah, they got me. They got me as a return customer there. Uh, I went on my first trail ride. Like, horse ride. And like. Well, I say 10 years. Oh, yeah, because it's my first, like, trail ride in 10 years. I mean, I've ridden horses more recently than that, but trail rides specifically, I don't remember. Uh, it's been a very long time because every time I've ridden horses in my adult life has been in, like, a lesson setting in an arena. So we have not been on the trails. So that was very fun to go on the trails. I also went to my first improv class that was very interesting. I don't think I'll be agular, but I do think it is something fun to do once in a while to, like, get yourself out of your comfort zone a little bit and do something different. Uh, then I went to a really fun Thanksgiving dinner hosted by the Common Thread. And then this month, we're already in December here. I cut and bleached my hair again. And then I dyed it today, so I did that twice, uh, doing my hair this month. And then I went to my second improv class. And then last week, I went to Christmas at Tally's apartment. And that was my year in a very highlighted nutshell. But overall, what sticks out to me is that I had my last birthday of my 20s. It was my first full calendar year living abroad. Um, it was my first year, like, really feeling like, you know, coming into my own as an adult. Post. I say post Covid, even though we're not really always fully out of it. But, um, um, I feel like I'm really coming into my own. So I'm really happy with my life and, like, where it's going and happy with myself and happy with my friends and the people around me. And I really couldn't ask for anything more than that. I just feel really, really happy. So that's what sticks out to me the most of this year. And then let's move on to all my 2024 wrapped I'mn Toa steal that saying from Spotify, because I'm going to start with my 2024 Spotify Wrapped because I look forward to that every single year. However, this year in particular, it sucked so bad. Like, I'm a huge fan of AI. I think it's not going to go away, so you should just embrace it and like, use it to your advantage instead of like pushing against it. Because if you push against it, it gives me the same vibe of like our grandparents. Like, you're always on that damn phone and then they don't even know how to answ anerone uh, a phone call on an iPhone. You know what I mean? Like it's always better to embrace it and adapt very quickly to these big changes in the tech industry, uh, other rather than to be resistant against them because they're probably going to happen regardless. So you might as well adapt, learn, get in the front of it before it kind of steamrolls you, you know what I mean? So that's what my company has been doing. Like we're a graphic design agency, but we still offer AI. In my personal life I very much use AI and I like to learn about it, but I do understand the negatives to AI as well. And I think it's not ever going toa be a 100% positive thing. Like phones are great, also can be bad. TV is great, also can be bad. Like there's lots of things that have negative sides to it, but it doesn't mean it's going to go away. Like just because it has a few negative sides to it doesn't mean it's going away. So my point is I think it's great to learn about it and you might as well get on it girl, before it steamrolls you and just plows you right over and you're stuck in five years being like, what, what, what is chat gbt? Like learn about it now so that you can use it to your advantage and not let it steamroll you. Okay, you steamroll it. Don't let it steamroll you. Use it to your advantage. Use it in to help enhance your life and u, um, make sure that you know enough about it so that it doesn't ruin your life. I suppose I say that to say a lot of companies are using AI and not using it in a good way. So Spotify wrapped this year for example, everybody was super disappointed with it because it's so, uh, painfully obvious that they used AI to create the wrapped visuals and everything and like the algorithm for the stats for the wrapped this year and it sucked. It sucked so bad. It was so lacking. It was lacking a lot of like, data that previous years included. So it's like, you'd think with AI it could be even better, but it's like it just fell so flat this year that it's like, really? And so what I've noticed is a lot of companies are using AI to like cut corners, make costs cheaper, but they're not actually like making anything significantly better with it. It's just more cutting corners. So it's like, yeah, what did we expect? But I noticed even with like a lot of corporations, they're using AI to like cut down on costs, but they're not passing that cost savings to anyone like you would think. It's like, hey, if we have AI, like, let's, you know, take some of the work off of the employees and like, let them reap the benefits of like a little bit less work and maybe like a little bit more pay because like, the costs are being cut from the work that they might have to typically do otherwise. No, no, no, no, no, no. The companies are like, oh, um, yeah, we're saving a lot of money, but we don't have enough money to give you a bonus that are a raise this year. And so sorry, the economy is doing really bad. Well, you just used AI to save, you know, 70% costs on projects this year. So where's all that money savings going? You know what I mean? So yeah, that's kind of the vibe it gave off with the Spotify wrapped. But I still do like seeing my stats and I saw a lot of people switching to. I think it's like Stats fm, um, that you can just use year round. You don't have to wait till the end of the year so you can just log in with your Spotify account details and like get your Spotify stats like at any time. So everybody was like, well, why would we do that? And we can just go get it from stats, you know, like without having to wait for like a crappy 2024. Spotify Wrapped. Anyway. I think this is the second or third year in a row that Bad Gal is my top artist, which I'm not shocked by. I just love her music. I don't know, like no other. I'm not usually like die hard for like a specific artist because usually for me, at least not any one artist, like all of their music is like a banger for me. Like, usually it's like they'll have like a few hits that I'm like really into, but then a lot of their other songs like Maybe I'm not into as much, but for Bad Gail, like, I'm not even joking. Every single song on her entire. What do they call it? Discography? Like, from when she first started until now, like, you can play any song that she's made, and I'm like, banger, banger, banger, banger. Uh, you can put her entire history of song making in a playlist and hit shuffle, and I will never skip a song. And that is so rare for me. That's why she's my number one artist, because it's like, I don't usually vibe with an artist's music that much to where I listen to all of their discography. Like, usually I'm only into a handful at most, and the rest I'm like, e, it's all right. But no, hers is like, one after the other. I'm like, yes, yes, yes. They're all bangers. Yeah. So she's my top artist. And then I had a little bit of a resurgence of rap this year because I haven't been listening to rap much at all for the past, like, four years. Probably. Um, not really much since 2019. Yeah, I think 2019 was the last year that I really, like, remember myself listening to rap on a regular basis, and that was the last time that I really liked any rap. So I was just going back in my, like, old playlists from, like, college and post college and just rel listening to all of those. So that's why my next artists are like, Future Drake and then Laura Donna is like. She's always on my list every year for the past few years as well, because I just. Again, similar to Bad Gal, all of her songs are bangers for me. I mean, she has a bit of a larger discography than Bad Gya. Like, she's put out a bit more songs, I believe, in the past, like, six years. Um, but almost every single one I'm into, and it's in German. I don't even know what she's saying half the time. I have to study the lyrics. And I do know the lyrics to, like, probably seven or eight of her songs. And I have no idea what she's saying. I'm just repeating sounds. But I love her songs. Um, so, yeah, same vibe for me. Like, I don't even really know what she's saying half the time, but you can put on pretty much any single one of her songs. And I'm like, yep, keep it going. Uh, Charlie XCX, obviously, because it wasat Brat Summer Brat 2024. Um, and also Very up my alley as far as like my music taste. So that was really a no brainer. And then what I was like weirdly shocked by was my top song was Wild by James Hype. And I'm like, what? I don't even particularly remember playing this song. And so I did see a couple people saying that they felt like maybe some of the stats this year were incorrect. Which like maybe that's true or maybe subconsciously I just really liked this song for some reason. Which like when I listened to it again I was like, yeah, I guess like this is a good song. I didn't like keep going back to it on purpose, but maybe I just let it play all the way through a lot of times because I subconsciously really liked it. I'm not really sure why because I didn't like purposely seek it out. Uh, but I do, I do like it. Um, but then the other ones make a lot more sense like Perio Esteculo, Give Me Botan, those are all bad songs. And then Badadan I heard on TikTok one day and I love super repetitive low lyric electronic songs. That's just like ADHD pumped into your brain. I just loved that song. I heard it once and I was like played on repeat. So that explains that. But I actually don't listen to Spotify that much. I guess my, my minutes listened was 14,600 and uh, I see some people with a hundred thousand and I'm like how much do you listen to music? But it would be a lot higher if I went to the gym bar. I'll say that because the only time I listen to Spotify is if I'm like on a walk or at the gym. Sometimes if I'm at home, sometimes if I'm at home I just have Spotify playing. But if there was a YouTube Wrapped. Now I'm praying that YouTube will do a YouTube Wrap this year because I would love to see the stats on videos I watch and like how many minutes of YouTube I watch. Well I guess you can kind of do that through screen time I suppose on your phone. Um, um. But yeah, I don't really watch tv. I don't really watch streaming services that much but I watch a lot of YouTube, a lot of YouTube. So I would love if YouTube did a, you know, 2025 wrapped this year. Next year maybe, maybe. But I'll Also link my 2024 top songs list from Spotify if you guys are curious. Just putting it out there. I feel like I have pretty good music taste. If you're Into. I like electronic music. I like dance hall from bad, obviously. I like rap Regeton. Yeah, if you're into those genres for the most part, you will like the playlist. And then I wanted to go through some of my favorite albums of the year. This isn't necessarily in like a tier list of any order, but I had to call these out. So. Laioa by badl I mean, that was what she went on tour for. Like, that was most of her set list for the concert. So obviously that is like one of my top albums for the year. Brat by Charlie xcx obviously. Also kind of a random one that's like, not typically, you know, the genre of music I listene to, but Preacher's daughter by Ethel Kane really, really enjoyed it. Um, yeah, again, not something I go to when I want to get pumped up particularly. But if I'm feeling a bit moody and like retrospective and just like wanting to like zone out and think a little bit, I will go to ethlain. And then I think we like, can't forget for this year. Obviously it was very iconic, like the Kendrick and Drake beef, the we don't trust you album with like future and Metro Boomin. Um, but yeah, like the songs between Kendrick and Drake, very iconic for this year. And then one like, standout artist for me that didn't make my top five, but I think she probably is probably six. I don't know. Um, but pink Panther, she kind of got her first viral moment, uh, through TikTok. I believe it was in 2020 or 2021 with some of her songs that got really viral on TikTok. But for some reason this year she has just like, really resonated with me because I don't know her genre of music. I don't even know really what the genre would be called. It's like soft electronic pop. Like that's what I would call it, at least that. It's like not super electronic, not super poppy, very like whispery, breathy. Like you can put it on and it will be like a really good crowd pleaser for like an event setting. Um, because it's not super, like noisy. You know what I mean? Like the. It's very smooth. You know what I mean? Like, a lot of electronic songs can be like d naa n. Hers is like, like, it's just like a breath of fresh air. I don't know if I could personify it in that way. It's like the vibe it brings, like, amazing. And again with her, another artist that play any song from her discography. And I will be like, oh, another banger. Oh, another one. Thank you. Another one. Thank you. Like, really a big fan of her. And then some songs that I need to point out that are not. Again, not in any particular order, but if I had to pick out songs that stick out to me this year, maybe they don't align specifically with, like, how much I listend to them in order on my Spotify raapped. But if I had to pick out songs that when I'm going in my playlists and I'm like, oh, I want to listen to that one, like, I go back and I seek these ones out. Gota only by Chris MJ I mean, I can't play these because it's YouTube, but if you haven't heard them, which I'm sure you probably have, but if you haven't, please go look them up. Got the Only by Chris MJ M DiLuvio, R.A. alejandro, Columbia, Qubedo M M. Delicious. And then in my more like electronic phase this year, I love by Effie and Mulgrab. Oh my God. Oh my God, it's delicious. It's so delicious. Oh, this song is so delicious I could just eat it. Same with radiation by J9UOZA GIRLA. I don't know. It came up on my TikTok as a recommended audio one day when I was making a TikTok, actually when I was in the hotel room getting ready for my friend's wedding in September in Red Wing, Minnesota. I was in my hotel room about to make a TikTok. And you know, it sometimes just like automatically suggests you in audio. Radiation was one of those audios and I was like, what is this delicious song? What is this? I need it. I need more of it. Um, so yeah, I love and radiation. Oh, yum yum yum yum yum O I could just eat them, they're so good. And then Automotivo. Pa pa p pa pa pa pa pa pa pa pa Pa pa pa pa p o my Brazilian funk era, that has been my other era that has been going on this year. Like, I can't get enough. I made a playlist called Wok Honey. And um, if you ever need a workout playlist, just put on like Brazilian funk. And a lot of people, I did look into this this year. A lot of people call it Brazilian Funonk. Like ph o n K. That's not what it is. It's Brazilian funk, like F u n K. Because fonk is another genre and I think why people get it mixed up Is because they can sound similar. Um, but another genre that I was really into More so in 2023 than I was this year, is, uh, driftfonk. Also a really good genre if you need a workout playlist. So drift funk and Brazilian funk, both similar vibes but different genres, but great for working out. If you need a boom, boom, boom and you can't help but walk to the beat, uh, that's your girl. Those two genres. So let's move on from music now. Let's move on. Um, 2024, dating wrapped. Because that was also a trend on TikTok that I did the other day. I got some comments, uh, from some weirdos. It definitely got fed to the incel community on tik took. So thank you TikTok algorithm for that. I was clutching my pearls like, why, why is it served to the creepy people on TikTok? Um, but thankfully it has died down so it has not really gained any traction in recent days, which is good. Um, but you guys arenna be really excited to hear my dating wrapped. Um, so zero boyfriends. Zero. Well, I should say zero. Zero boyfriends, zero dates. One crush for five seconds. Like I was saying, the crush did not last for very long. And it was because, as the saying stands true to this day, if you have a crush and you can't get over them, just learn more information about them and you will get the IC and the crush will go away. It will just disappear like this. Because now, even though this guy that I'm speaking of is objectively super hot, like when I first saw him in person, I was like, u, oh my God. Um, but then I was like, oh, okay, never mind. Um, um, never mind. The information I found out is not as pleasing as I would have hoped. But anyway, I mean, lots of crushes on celebrities and, you know, that's it though U nothing, Nothing really of any substance. Zero sleepovers, Zero flirty conversations in person anyway, I guess like, whatever on DMs doesn't count. Um, zero flirty conversations in person. No one red me up. No one had any charisma or charm. Like, God damn, that is boring. Uh, and then I deleted and redownloaded Hinge and Mumble like seven times and I'm disappointed every single time. Like, I remember one time, this was probably in October, I deleted it for like a good six and I finally redownloaded Hinge because I was like, oh, I just want to see if any likes rolled in and like, see if there's anything. And I don't know how I like some of my friends, they'll get like 70 likes in a weekend. That's never happened to me. I don't know, but I got like 50 likes over the course of like six weeks. And I was like, oh my God, that's so many. So I start flipping through them all and I'm like, oh, there's gotta be one. There's, there's got toa be one in here somewhere. There's got toa be at least one. And I'm like, no, no, no, no, no. And then all of a sudden, what am I at? 0. And I'm like, not even 1. Okay, okay, so yeah, um, 29th full year with no boyfriend. I mean, I'm still going toa be 29 for like another five months, but I don't really plan on getting a boyfriend anytime soon because I really did think about it. I mean, unless of course circumstances can change, but they would have to be really pulling out all the stops and like really impressing me to make me like want to drop everything and get a boyfriend right this second. Like, I've got a little work to do still. Okay, uh, okay. Moving on from dating, we're talking about activities in Barcelona. So this is a little bit random, but I decided to add this in here because people always ask me like what to do in Barcelona and like my personal opinions. This is a bit more tourist geared. Uh, so if I was, you know, talking to somebody that's currently living here, I probably would not give them the same recommendations. But if you're coming to visit Barcelona and you want to know what to do, this is my top 10 for activities in Barcelona. And these are tiered. So starting with number one, uh, Sagranaoilia. I'm normally like, uh, churches can be a bit overrated. Like maybe with how much hype Segrada Familia gets, like maybe it's overrated. No, no, no. Segratt Familia is 100% worth going. Get the audio tour. Self guided audio tour. Just pop in your AirPods or whatever and take yourself through the whole church. You'll want probably like a sol in two hours to like really soak it in and not feel rushed. Uh, and you don't have to book a certain amount of time. Like as soon as you're in, you can just, you know, go at your own pace and it's fine. That's why I don't like to go with a tour group because then you have to go at their pace. If you go on your own, you can just take your sweet Time and like, really enjoy the audio tour and like, whatever park gel is the second one, I would say it's still worth going. Although the park is very large and the actual like monuments that you want to see there are all right by the exit. And I, at first, when I went there, was walking all over the park thinking that there was like, cool places to see hidden all over the park, which there's not really. Uh, it's all just kind of by the exit. So, you know, use that information as you will. Um, Mon week very worth it. Uh, I would say that's my third recommendation. Um, I would put it higher, but it's just there's so much to do on Mont week. It's really hard to give it a tier, I guess, uh, because I don't like the Castell de Mon week. I thought that was a waste of money. It's just like essentially another viewpoint of Barcelona. But there's not much to. To see actually inside of it. I would say the outside of the castle is way cooler than the inside. Um, so didn't really find that worth my time. But you can just walk up to the outside of it for free and like, take photos. I think that's the coolest part about it. Um, the Teleferi de Monu week is very much worth it. Um, the Muso de Arte Nacional de Catalun I think, uh, is worth it. Um, it's also just a very beautiful building inside and out, so that's worth it. Um, Espol. I actually still haven't been, but I've heard that it's very worth it. And then there's just a lot of beautiful gardens there that you can go in for free. So honestly, Mon week could be an entire day in itself, or you could just go for like an hour. It's really, uh, make your own adventure kind of thing. Um, Barcelona, a beach I hate unless you go to W hotel. So that would be my fourth recommendation. If you are going to go to the beach and you want to see Barcelonta, just go all the way to the W first and then walk to the beach from there. Don't uh, bother going like in the middle of the beach and n. No, no, no. Uh, just go all the way to the very tippy, tippy edge that you can go. And then you might actually enjoy yourself. There's also like an Honest Greens over there. There's a few like really beautiful restaurants over there. So I, if I were going to go to the beach there, that's where I would go. I would never go to like the main drag of Barcelonta. To know if you're going to go to the beach, just like go 10, 15 minutes north of know Barcelontta, like the next few beaches up, uh, and you will enjoy yourself much more. Or just go to a beach that's not even in Barcelona. Like take the train to a different beach in a different city. Uh, I would not consider Barcelona a beach destination. Like, if you're like coming from the US and your beach destinations are like Florida, California, Texas, Mexico, uh, you will be disappointed by Barcelona's beach. Just saying it is not a beach destination. There's not like a lot of beach clubs. It's not like beautiful white sands like Cancun. There's not like a bunch of resorts on the beach. Like, that's not a thing. Like the apartments go like pretty much all the way up to the beach. So there's no like resort vibe really. Um, it's not like if you compare to Cancun, nothing like it, nothing like it. So just if that's the beach vibe you have in your mind, get that out of your mind because that is not the beach vibeer. Um, rooftops along Passage de Gracia. That would be my fifth recommendation. Uh, you can just look pretty much any hotel on Passays de Gracia will have a rooftop and you can just walk in the lobby and be like, can we go up to the top? And they will tell you yes or no. Um, sometimes you might need a reservation depending on like the time of day and if it's like an, you know, if it's an important holiday or maybe they have an event going on, I don't know. But typically you can just walk in and ask the receptionist if you're allowed to go up to the top. And usually they will say yes. And you can just go up there and enjoy a drink, enjoy a meal, whatever. And it's, it's usually a beautiful view. Uh, the next one I would Recommend for number 6 is just shopping along Passage de Gracia. I walk along Passage de Gracia a lot, but there are a lot of people so it can be a bit overwhelming. But it's like going down Rodeo Drive or like Champysees in Paris. Like, it's just kind of iconic and you just kind of have to do it. And then you can see like Casa Mila, Casabio. So there's like a lot of beautiful buildings, a lot of beautiful stores. Um, so it can be a bit like heavy with people. But I do still Think it's worth it. Um, number seven, I would recommend walking around Gracia, the neighborhood. Um, it used to be its own set, separate town before Isishampla was built. Aishampla is the neighborhood I live in. So Isampla was built in between like Gothic Quarter, Born Reval and then Gracia. So Gracia used to be like its own separate city or separate town. Um, but now since things have expanded a lot, it's all just like one area. But Gracia is, I think, distinct in that it's like very chill, very family oriented. There's lots of beautiful plazas, there's lots of really cute like shops and restaurants that are just like in all these like hidden corners and stuff. And I think it's fun to just like walk around and like, just get lost a little bit and like just find like a random shop or like a random restaurant. Uh, that's what I like about Gracia. And then number eight, I would find a plaza and have a drink in Born. So if you are going to go to the old town of Barcelona, which if you're here on a vacation, like you're go going toa want to do that. I don't like the old town of Barcelona because it's just kind of like dark and stinky and wet with like mystery liquids on the ground. So I'm not really a fan of old town Barcelona. Although I will say some parts of it are pretty cool because like, it is historical but like, it's busy with tourists. It's kind of dark and stinky. I'm not really a big fan, but I've come to recently enjoy Bournn a lot more. Um, so I have spent a little bit of time there, like more closer to like the Arc de Triomphe area of Born. Um, so just like walking around in that general area, like finding a plaza, sitting down for a drink, um, it's really, I think, enjoyable. I would not, for example, sit down and find a random plaza for a drink in Gothic Quarter. And although they are right next to each other, I promise there is a difference. I would not do that in Gothic Quarter. It just is like a little bit too stinky and gross for me. I'm sorry, I'm shitting on it so bad right now. I'm a gerophobe and like super paranoid to get my stuff stolen. So like, I just wouldn't. But Bourne is like slightly less touristy. Um, so it's just a little bit more chill, a little bit more local and like A little bit less likely to have your crap stolen, in my opinion. In my opinion. Okay. Um, nine. I would say just walk along diagonal, which is Avinguda D. Dianal, uh, or Avenita Dianal, whatever language you're looking in. Um, um, but it's the other big street that crosses with Passage de Gracia, and it has shopping as well. It's a bit more high end, a bit less touristy, but it's also a lot longer. And I would say it's a little less specific, like where you would want to walk on dianl. I just think it's very enjoyable because a good chunk of it has the tram that they've been reconstructing for the past few years and also has, like, a giant walking path for most of it. And the sidewalks are very large, so it doesn't feel so claustrophobic. Um, so if you want, like, a nice walk while you're shopping, I would recommend diauno just for the fact that there will be slightly less people and a slightly larger sidewalk. Ah, Last recommendation number 10. I would go up to Tibiabbo for a view of the city. There's several ways that you can go up to Tibiabo. You can, like, get a car, you can take the metro, you can take a tram, or, like, a Funiar. Um, um, or you can just hike up there. Uh, either way, it's definitely worth it to go up there for a view because, like, the view that you get from MU Week is very different than the view that you get from Tibiabbo. So I think it's worth it to go to both, um, mountaintops. And. Yeah, that will do it for my Barcelona recommendations. And let's move on to my top 10 makeup items. I would say number one, this one. I get questions about all the time. The shade oxide from the Izuma Industrial 2.0 palette. In general, I would recommend it. I just checked their website. I believe it's sold out right now. I don't know when they're planning to restock it. Um, but if you are going to spend a lot of money on a palette and you like to have a little glitter moment every now and then, um, the Izuma 2.0 palette is, like, oh, my God, a dream. I'm obsessed. Number two is Mob Beauty lip liner in M M1990. Uh, I compare it. It's very close to the makeup by Mario Smokey pink liner, which I also have on this list. Um, but it is a stunning shade. I really love Mob Beauty as a company, so I have been obsessed with that. This year. My third item is Mob Beauty Lip liner in M M159, which is very similar to Mac Cosmetics Stone, which I also have on this list. Um, and then number four is Mob Beauty lipstick in M M3, a beautiful shade. Five is Merit Beauty Complexion Stick. Uh, I have it in Dune, and I also had it in cream or sand or something like that. Uh, really, really nice for, like, if you need quick makeup that looks really good. Mirrot Beauty, like, just the whole brand in general, but particularly the complexion stick. And number six, the Mirt Beauty Blending Brush. Oh, my God. Those two things together is, like, they put something, like, magical with, like, fairy dust in there. It's crazy. Number seven, I would recommend the DSSA Myric Blurring Balm Powder. I actually haven't had a chance to try this yet, but I bought it for my mom for her birthday, and I really want to try it, but I'll probably just buy it the next time that I'm back in the U.S. number eight, I think we can't leave 2024 without acknowledging the hourglass concealer and the grip that it has had on everyone this year and on me as well. Like, I've been obsessed with the hourglass concealer. Uh, I think that's like, my number one makeup product. If you were to ask me, like, what sticks out as, like, the makeup product of 2024, I would say the hourglass concealer and then the makeup by Mario Smokey Pink lip Liner and Mac Cosmetic Stone Lip Liner. Like, those 10 products are, like, maybe not really in any particular order, but if you had to ask me, what are your top 10 products that you've used that are your favorites and also that are just like, icon_ic for 2024, like, those are the 10 products. Okay, moving on to skincare. My top 10 skincare items, typology T41, D41 moisturizer. They just sentd it to me. I'm already almost out of it because I use it every single day. It's amazing. Under makeup, it's fragrance free. It's so moisturizing. Like, I need to buy another tube of it immediately because I'm almost out already. Um, number two, the Triden toner. I went to, like, a Korean, uh, cosmetic earlier this year, and she recommended to me to use a hyaluronic acid toner to help, like, really amp the moisturizer of whatever you're putting on top of it. Um, so that if you already have some liquid There. It will help boost the effects of whatever moisturizer you put on. Then I also have the. I think it's Mr. Harlson, Mr. Harrison. I'll put a picture of it here. Uh, eye Patatches. Whenever I have a day, like, if I'm going to bed and I know the next day, I need my makeup to be on point. Like, I'm going to be in photos or like, I'm going to be out and about. And I want my under eyes to look, like, very good and plump, um, and just very, like, moisturized and healthy and young looking. I will put those eye patches on for like 45 minutes while I'm just getting ready for bed or like sitting in bed the night before. And it really does make a difference. Number four would be Volumleline. Um, that has been like a very iconic skincare product this year. Like, it's been everything that everyone's talking about on TikTok as far as, like, oh, my God, like, how do you get the look of filler without actually getting filler? I will say I haven't used it super consistently, but I prefer the patches to volumyine. However, I do notice a very subtle plump with Volumlene for the day after. So maybe if I combined those two things, that could be a fun experiment. I also got sent the Merit Serum and Merit Moisturizer, and I really, really like those. However, I will say for my skin being a bit younger, I think it's not the best combination for a full beat face of makeup. I like the Typology moisturizer better for under makeup. Um, but the Merit Serum and moisturizer I think are a great nighttime combo. Or if you're a bit older with a bit more mature skin or like drier skin as you're aging. I think this is great to use under makeup, especially if you use it with the other Merit products. Um, I think it's form formulated to go really great with their products and to keep your skin looking really dewy and moisturized and like glowy even when you have a full face of makeup on. Uh, the next product for number seven, I would say is Bio Oil. I use it every single day as a full body moisturizer. I have extremely dry skin all over my body. I think it's like, partially from my autoimmune diseases and just like the amount of medications that I take. Uh, but it's the only thing that like, actually makes me feel moisturized. But it doesn't leave a sticky residue because it's like A dry oil. Um, um, so I use it all the time, everywhere. It's amazing. Number eight is the Uriaage Baroderm sica cream. I guess you could say. U. Um, it's essentially like. It does the same thing as, like, Aquafor, but it's a bit thicker and waxier. And I put it on the backs of my hands before I go to sleep at night because I wash my hands a lot, and I just have chronically dry skin, like I said. So, like, this winter especially, like, my knuckles are just always cracked. And it is a bit waxier, like I mentioned, so it's a bit drier. And it doesn't get, like, smeared all over your sheets or all over your hair or anything like that. Like, it stays on your skin much better. Um, I just like it way more than just putting Aquaor on hands. Like, if I'm gonna put something on my hands, it's gonna be the Uriaage Barrioderm. Um, number nine, I would say, is the manicurist Wer Wert, um, for nail oil or cuticle oil. I really like that. So I'll do that with the yage barrier if I'm doing, like, a little, like, hand skincare before I go to sleep. And then number 10 is the beauty of Joseon sunscreen. This was such an eye opener to me this year. Thank you to my friend Abby for recommending it to me. If you need a sunscreen and you do not want a white cast, you don't, and you feel like sunscreens typically burn your skin or they're, like, just not working for you. The beauty of Joson sunscreen. Get it. Get it right now, and your life will be changed. And then just, like, 11 as a bonus. Aquafor. Um, I would not be the same person I am today if it wasn't for Aquaphor. I used the little tube as a chapstick. Uh, once in the morning and once at night. Moving on to fashion brands. So number one, and this is mostly from Copenhagen Fashion Week that I learned about a lot of these. And I guess I would say these are not in any particular order for this one, because I don't know that I could ever put it in an order. But these are just the top 10 brands that, when you ask me what my favorite brands are for this year, these are them. So Maria Black jewelry. Sif Jakob's jewelry. I got jewelry from both of those brands this year, and I'm very happy with them. And I would definitely go back and repurchase more Elwood clothing. I Got my, like, western jacket from them and the white dress that I wore on Christmas from them. Amazing vgamond shoemakers. I got my new work bag from them that I posted on TikTok Nude Project. I got a really nice sweatshirt and a T shirt from them and I really like their style. Like'll if I'm gonna buy a sweatshirt again, it'snna probably be from them. Stina, Goa, Gstusz, Rotate, Holer and Ganny. Those are my others that I've been really, really interested in. Like their vibes, their clothing I'm very interested in. And they're always going to be at the top of my head when I'm thinking of new clothes that I want to buy. Uh, okay, moving on to shows of the year. Top 10 shows, I would say. Ah, I don't know if I could put these in any particular order either, but I will say my number one for sure is nobody wants this. I just rewatched it for the third time this weekend and I don't know, like, normally I'm such a grinch and I don't like rom coms because I'm like, it's all fake. It doesn't exist. But m Don't you just love a little like, giggling, kicking your feet moment? Because I do. So, yeah, when I watch Nobody wants this, I'm like, oh my God. Like, oh, imagined. Oh my goodness. So really loved that show. That's my standout show for the year for sure. Emily in Paris Season 4. I've also been rewatching Emily in Paris starting from season two because I've seen season one a million times. So I've been watching seasons two, three and four over the past couple days while I've been knitting and same thing. I just get like, the giggles. Uh, even though there's so many, like, cringe moments from it. I don't know what it is. I just love Emily in Paris. I love it. Um, the Perfect Couple. That was a good, like, whodunit type of show. One day. I can't believe I almost forgot about this one because it came out fairly early in the year. M M. But yeah, one day made me cry. Sob like a baby. Smiling friends, frowning friends. Of course. Uh, I'y think of that. Um, smiling friends. Really love that show. Baby reindeer. Oh my goodness. I remember when I clicked on it, I was doing my nails one evening and I was like, what is baby reindeer? And my mind was blown. I thought it was gonna be like some weird, like, Hallmark esque, you know, Christmas series. No, no, no, no. No, no. Like, I think I already need to. That's do for a rewatch. Cause it was just so good. Love is Blind season seven, us. Uh, very good Yellowstone, because I finally watched it this year. I actually still haven't started season five, but I watched seasons one through four and then Outlander because it's on season seven part two right now. But I think I need to rewatch Outlander from the beginning again as well, because I just need, like, a little more like, giggling and kicking my feet. Uh, and then Bridgerton. I actually, like, I'm not like, such a huge super fan of Bridgerton, but I did finally watch Bridgerton from the beginning this year as well, because I finally was like, okay, what's all this hype about? Like, fine, I'll watch it. And it was pretty good. I did enjoy it. Okay, now I think this is my favorite, favorite list of the year. And this is why I want YouTube to have like, a YouTube wrapped. Like, that would be amazing. So top 10 podcast episodes of the year. And I had to make, uh, it podcast episodes. Not just podcast shows, podcast episodes. Because if you guys have not watched these, like, this is your homework for the new year. I will link all of these in the description. And you need to watch these if you want to be my friend, if you want to date me, if you want to, like, know anything about me and my personality to my core, you need to watch these. Okay, so the comment section All Stars episode featuring Brittanney and Caleb. I remember when this came out earlier this year because this was one of the episodes in this list that came out probably in, like, February or March. Like, it was pretty early on in the year. I was like, oh, my God. This is the pinnacle of podcast commentary comedy. Like, I was gagged. Like, I don't think I've pissed myself laughing during episode more than this one. Like, that was so funny. And it is an easy decision to rewatch and re listen to that episode. Like, it is just so funny.

>> Ellen:

I pulled. I was like, oh, you know't be funny if I pulled my sleep pants up real high. And I was like, weird. And so I was like, like, I was like, everyone, I'LAUGH at this. And so I walked into the room, my sleep full up high. And I was like, you doing that? And everyone did laugh. So since everyone laugh, I kept doing it the rest of the day. And finally one of the cool kids, like, two hours later came over to me and he was like. He was like, hey, uh, the bit you're doing with your pants, like, I know people are laughing, but it's actually mean because we're getting, like, a really visible outline of your ball sack and also your asshole and, like, your pants are so high up that, like, your balls are on, like, crazy display. And also your dick print is, like, really pronounced. And no one wants to tell you. And he tells me all it. He go. He goes. He goes, no one to tell you. And I go, thank you, Cooper. I kind of. During the conversation, I just kind of scooted the pants down. Um, the next episode, I would say, is Britany Broski's the Broski Report. Wake up, sheeple. It is so funny. Again, maybe I'll play a few clips from each of these so you guys can kind of get the vibe. Um, so funny. Y'all, y'all, can you bow your heads in prayer with me really quick? Dear heavenly Father, I wanna thank you for gathering all of us together with our eyes shut and heads bowed in prayer. I'd like to thank you for freeing me of the shackles of this Irishman. Lord, I thank you for looking over me, keeping your hand on my shoulder when it comes to the Irish. The Irish are devil people. They're devilish folk. They are not to be trusted. Lord, I thank you for keeping your hand on me, over me, watching me. The next, uh, the third one would be from the comment section. Again, I only tell jokes and truths featuring Caleb. So instead of the first one was the All Stars featuring Britanney and Caleb. This one is just drew off Wallow and Caleb. A guy told me a, uh, couple months ago on the Internet. He replied to me and he had like 17 followers on Twitter. And he decided he wanted to go toe to toe with me. And, um, he said, I don't know about the rest of you guys trying to rally other people in the comments. M. Never gonna happen. He goes, I don't know about the rest of you guys, but this guy looks to me like he broke into a bakery and ate all the pies. And I went, it's so soft. I mean, I'm like, you're not. You're. You're so far out of your league. I want to reply and be like, I'll kill you with a gun. You're soft. Ate all the pies. Uh, like an 18th century limerick. Uh, number four is the nevermin Pod, which I discovered this year, uh, with Kylle and Veronica. It's the Nice Guy fall episode. And if you haven't already. Okay, then you're gonna want to see this if you want that extra secret content that only the craziest one. Access to Pany drapping. No. Come on. Come on. What? I don't know. What do you want me to say? No, we're ringing someone's ear. So I'm in a whisper like, like, like here's my sexy voice. Hey. Hey, big boy. Hey, you want fries with that? Holy fuck. Number five is the Broski Report. Anthony Bourdain and Pilates. The nature of God. Oh, Halujahad. For eating will also provide multiply. That's the opening of the windows of El. This is decreeme Faith Decree a thing. Number six is Stavi's World. Number 104 featuring Caleb. Like really? Any podcast episode on the whole YouTube plan platform with Stavi or Caleb or Britty on it. Like I'm a fan. My girlfriend often goes out with her best friend and her boyfriend for lunch or dinner or drinks when I'm not available if about working or doing whatever. And her best friends boyfriend will pay for all my girlfriend's drinks and food and stuff. And it's really fucking annoying. And I hate that he does it because now when I go out with my girlfriend and his girlriend, he's not there. I feel obligated to do the same thing. And I don't want to pay for another bitches food or drinks or whatever. Sou like a fun dude. My girlfriend has own goddamn money when she's not with me. And I have one girlfriend. I don't want to be paying for two girlfriends and this guy. I pay for my girlfriend. You pay for your girlfriend. It's frustrating. And when I don't do it, my girlfriend kind of gives me a look. You don't do it? I don't like it. Um, how do I handle this? Thank you. Wow, that was some of the most little dickory I've ever heard in my life. Hey Stby, what's up dude? So basically my girlfriend's friend has a nicer boyfriend than me and he's treating my girl like fucking gold. And then she expects me to be nice to women I'm not fucking. So I guess. Dobby. What fucking gives? What's this bitch fucking angle? You're absolutely right. The treating a woman I'm not fucking nicely thing really is what it boils down to also, you fucking idiot. These guys are so stupid. Do you know what would get your girlfriend hotter than anything? Is to treat her friend fucking a little kindness. Yeah, you treat her friend nice. Guess what's happening when you go home that night? Yeah, a lot of fun A lot of fucking idio. Much better stuff than. Than, uh, insisting her friend venmos you for buffalo egg rolls. You know, you sending her friend a 1295 Venmo request is not getting you sucked off, pal. Number seven, I would say, is so true with Caleb Puran. And the episode is called Brittany Broski and Drew Afwallo Arminions. That was recent from Halloween. So funny. Again, those three. On any, uh, podcast episode, you've got a fan for life. And they go in the room and she sat in the corner while the two of them did it. Queen. And she just sat there and waited for them. I was like, were are you waiting to get tagged in? Like, wwe tag me in. Tag me in. Yeah. You got the cuck chair. I'm suggesting a threesome and then putting myself in the cockt chair. Yeah. Have y'all ever had a threesome? No. No. I've been invited to one many times. Don't do it. Cause someone always ends up the admin. That's the admin. I have been the admin, and I have seen the admin. I've seen someone else become the admin. And there's no dignity here. Well, it's just shameful. Re like, they're starting to grab feet and shit. It's like they're just off to the side trying to throw a finger in. Wherever it fits, trying to be helpful. It's like me and this guy kind of got something going. You need to maybe just grab a break. Logistical coordinator. Grab a breather. There's like, those football player, uh, green water bottles in the corner. Get you some water, brother. Craft service table. Hit the showers, take five. Go get a kind bar. We're. We're gonna keep doing our thing over here. Pip. Uh, number eight, Therapus with Jake Shane. Love his podcast. So funny. Session 48 with Olivia Jade. I. That was a very recent episode. I really, really enjoyed it. I was like, oh, my God. I haven't gotten to hear this much from Olivia Jade. And I really, really enjoyed her takes on everything and, like, her personality. Have I really ever been that angry where you were like, not at me, but I've seen you angry at others. And I was like, not me. Not me. Cause you're a really, really sweet girl. I feel like I don't get angry. That. And then you, like, um, you excuse a lot of bad behavior from others around you all the time. Do you know what I mean? I m really good at, uh, that. Yeah. And then, like, when you get pissed, like, you snap. Yeah. But not like snap. You're just like, you know. You know what? I think I go like inward. Like, I probably won't actually snap outwardly, like at somebody, but I'll definitely just get like really quiet and do get. You get quiet and I can say, make a note. Yeah. You know, um, number nine, I would say is the Do We Know Them? Podcast episode. Michelle the Bartender updates. All of their episodes are so amazing. I've been watching them from like their number one or like their first episode. And yeah, the Michelle the Bartender episodes are some of my favorites because they talk about it so well. It's just so. I love Jessie and Lill's takes on stuff, but it's like the Michelle the Bartender content is so interesting because Michelle the Bartender is just a very interesting person. So if you want like a funny saga to listen to, look, uh, up. Do we know them? Michelle the Bartender. And there's probably three episodes that they've done on her that are very funny. Yeah. So if you don't know Michelle the Bartender, my God, where did our journey with her start? She's like a deep part of her lore now. Almost kind of like deaf noodles, but not that deep. I'm trying to remember. Cause as usual, I had never heard of her before. Oh, okay. Okay. So I think I had known about her from before the kid, but I think the first big story that we talked about was her now ex husband bringing a ranom person from a bar in their home. Yes. And they were like casing the joint and they were gonna like. And her son was home. Ye. And then she did the follow up where she showed the security stuff and like how it works. Yeah. I really think you guys should watch her Michelle the Bartender episodes because honestly, in the grand scheme of things, very light heartd and just a person. Like the whole synopsis of her embodiment, that whole sentence made no sense. The whole like chronic oversharing I've ever seen. That's it. Yeah. Just literally verbal diarrhea in human form. That's Michelle the Bartender. And for number 10, I will say another so true episode with Caleb hereen. Uh, Brittany Broski loves the Irish. Super funny. I just want that buffalo sauce. I went through a kick recently where I would buy a full rotisserie chicken, just dunk it in that, uh, Frank's Red Hot just midnight over the sink in my house. Because guess what? I'm an adult. Number Mar. Real as fuck. You're one of the most American people I've ever encountered. You got real American values. No, no, no, no, girl, you got American values. You got real American values on you. I love that about you. You're red blooded. I'm red blooded. You are. You should see the way I act at a barbecue restaurant. I'm scared. There's two places that I don't have politics. One of them is at any barbecue restaurant in the South. Yes, I got no politics there. And then the second is when I'm sitting in an AMC signature recliner with a Mr. Pibb. Shit. Mr. Pibb. There are two places that I don't have politics, and those are them. As you can tell, Drew, Brittany and Caleb are like my top three favorite podcasters. But I also really love Kyle and Veronica from the Nevermin Pod, Stavi from Stavi's World, uh, Jake, Shane from Therapus, and, uh, Jesse and Lilyy from do we know them? Those are like. If you want podcasts, like, listen to any of those. So moving on to my top 10 Tik Tocs of the year. I'm just gonna play these for you guys. U um, yeah, I'll just let them play. But now you have been promoted. You are now one of my elite employ``es a lemonade. All right. And then can I also have barbecue. Sauce or do you have like a buffalo sauce? No. Chick fila sauce? No. Chick fil la sauce. Well, well, well. It seems our abilities are, uh, even we matched. You're just lucky I didn't go all out in this battle. Cause I think you wouldn't like that so much. Your counterattack was most questions. Did you catch my sick wood wiggle. Way quiver he'll be back before you can say noodles. Hamburger uh, what's happening to me? I'm in the full moonlight I ripp my shirt y I'm a werewolf Hair tufts on my arms I grow talons when you uh u can I uh u like when you up girl Fuck you. F you Book me now. Book me now. I got a pizza delivery for a Toanta Jahari. I am tnka Jhari, but I would never order a whole pizza for myself. I'm mean I'll take it but for. For for bus down m. I m. Stood outside with my pener out like usual. That's when I hear the bells approaching of the peeneer snipper guy. And lastly, my 2025 goals. They're not necessarily like the most impactful goals, but I do think that these. It's a very good way to summarize my goals, if I could say it that way. Like each one of these, I could probably specify into, like, 10 sub goals, if that makes sense. Um, but anyways, first one, go to the gym regularly. I just went to the gym yesterday for the first time in, like, four months. Uh, and I've just been paying the gym, you know, for not going. So that was interesting. Like, I opened my gym bag, like, some, you know, spiders crawled out, and, like, my, uh, tanning lotion also crawled out. So if that tells you anything, the last time I was at the gym was to tan on the rooftop. So, um, my priorities have changed a little bit. Um, so that's my first goal, is to just go back to the gym regularly. I'm not trying to push myself super hard. I just need to build it into my routine again and make it, like, a session that I can't skip, like, three times a week would be amazing. Uh, my second goal is to learn French. I think maybe that's a bit inspired by my, like, Emily in Paris kick right now, but I would love to learn French. I would also love to read one book per month. I say read, but I can't sit down and read. Like, it's too annoying. So I'll listen to them on audible. Um, four, I would love to travel to fashion weeks. The U.S. greece, the UK. Um, there's lots of other places, but, yeah, those are some of the places I would love to go. Five, I would love to get a breast reduction. That's been on my list for, like, five years now. But, you know, it would be really amazing if I could get it for, like, my 30th birthday. Would be really cool. Uh, number six, I want to get more piercings and more tattoos. That's not something I would have thought would be on my list, but I do. I think that's my path for, you know, I'm turning 30, and that feels very right for me. Um, seven, I need to go on more dates because I have not been on a date since September 2019, so it's been a while. Eight, I need to make more money. Don't we all, girl. Don't we all. Number nine, I want to start horse riding again, like, on a more regular basis. And then number 10, I would love to secure my first podcast sponsor. Yay. I would love if that could happen. Um, so you guys can help make that happen by subscribing, sharing with your friends, leaving a review on, like, Apple podcasts or Spotify. I actually just got an email, like, you know, a cold outreach email from a guy that's trying to sell me his services. That's like, you know, you've had your podcast for six months, and you have zero reviews. Yikes. And I'm like, hey. Okay, well, I gotta go now, guys. Yoli's here. Have a great rest of your year, and I hope you have an Amazing, amazing, wonderful 2025. Okay, love y. Bye.
