>> Ellen:

Hey, guys. Welcome back to Reasonably Certain. My name is Ellen. This is episode 32, and in today's episode, we're going to be talking about my personal 2025 trend predictions. I know I'm no expert on the topic, although I do like makeup and fashion, so that's what I'm going to be going off of. And also, I'm a big fan of Emma Chamberlain and one of her recent episodes, she just did her own trend predictions. There's a few of them that I agree with, and then a few of them that I hope are not true. And then I have a few of my own. And I have not been studying the most recent Runway shows of, like, autumn winter shows, because I don't really want that to influence my opinions. I did, however, look at spring summer shows back in August and September. So, like, that might influence my opinions a bit, but I didn't want to do any current research so that it doesn't influence my thoughts. Because kind of like Emma said in her video or in her podcast episode, I don't want too much influence on my guesses, even though these are all obviously influenced by something. But, like, I don't want to go research and just cherry pick stuff and, like, think that that's going to be happening because I already saw it somewhere. I kind of want it to be grown out of my own, like, perception of what's going on, if that makes sense. So that's what we'll be talking about in this episode. But before we get into that, I'll give you guys a quick update, uh, as to what I've been up to this past week. Uh, so it has been a good week. I know I was having a couple of rough weeks the past couple episodes. Um, but it was definitely a good week. I've been really trying to ramp up my social media, so, like, any free time that I have outside of my current job, I am just working on posting reels and TikToks and editing and whatever. It's a lot. So last week, right after I filmed the previous episode, I went out for brunch with my friends Fernanda and Yoli for friend Fernanda's birthday. That was really nice. The place we went to brunch. I already forgot the name of it, but it was really good. Like, I was really pleased with the food that we had. And then we went to Lulu and Flynn, which is like another coffee shop here in Barcelona, and I've never been there before. And I got a chai latte, which was nice. And we met up with some friends. Like, one friend came in and I knew her. I met her once, and then another totally different friend happened to already be sitting in there that nobody else knew except for me, because I went to another birthday dinner back in November where I met her, and I was like, hey, like, I totally forgot your name, but it's so nice to see you. And her name's Elena. Nice to see you, Elena. I doubt you're listening to this, but it was nice to see you. And then had her come sit with us at our table. And it was like a really nice impromptu, like, girls afternoon. And then the rest of the week was, like, pretty normal for me. And then on Wednesday, I went to this restaurant called Motor Oil. And it's a new restaurant that just opened at the start of the year. And I was so impressed. Like, we went there to create content for them and it was really good. Like, the vibes are super fun. It's very like California western rock and roll. So it felt very good for me as an American to have, like, some American vibes. And it's not like they just play country music. Thank God they have, like, a good music selection, especially during the week. Like, if you want to go there, not on the weekend, and you don't want to get like, hammered with people and you just want to have like a nice evening with like, cocktails and a burger. Amazing. Because it's like, good music and a good vibe. And I've been talking about this, or like, not on my podcast really, but like, to my friends. I'm always complaining about how even though I love living in Barcelona, like, there's no mingle culture here. And this bar and restaurant I feel like could have a good mingle vibe. Um, which I think the owner also owns Space Cowboy as well, which was the. The only bar I have been to here that curates kind of that mingle vibe. So maybe they're ont to something because they also own feola as well. And I also love the vibe of Furola. So, like, the vibes that they're curating at their locations, like, very much in alignment with what I'm looking for. If I want to go out, I don't want a super packed bar with super loud music. Then everyone's sweaty and waiting in line for a shitty drink. Like, that is not fun to me. I love a night out where, like, you can get a group of friends together that haven't seen each other in a while. You go get like a nice cocktail, you're not like, standing in line like, screaming at the bartender, trying to get their attention. You have a table, you still have somebody that's coming and serving you. You can maybe grab a little bit of food. I mean, obviously it depends on the time that you're there, right? But if you're there a little bit earlier in the night, and when I say earlier, I mean, like, 10, 11, 12. So if you're there a little bit earlier, you can get food, which is great, but also it's nice because you can just, like, have a designated spot that you can chill at. And then it's not so packed, like, to the brim with people that you can still kind of move around and actually, like, hear each other enough to have a conversation where the music isn't, like, blasting and you're like, I can't hear you. And then there's, like, language barriers as well. Like, I find it really hard here to have conversations in a loud environment because either I'm trying to speak Spanish and, like, I can't understand Spanish that well in that environment where people are, like, drunk, slurring their words, there's music. I'm like, okay, my brain is not computing. Like, so, sorry, wish I could understand you. But this. This is not working. I can't understand a thing. And otherwise it's in English. And, like, maybe their English is not as good as mine. And then it's just. It's a mess. Like, unless I'm speaking, like, English, native English speaker to native English speaker, it's, like, pretty hard to understand anyone. Uh, uh. But it's mostly because of how loud the music is. Like, I just can't hear. So I love that motor oil is not so crazy that it's like a typical tourist bar. Like, I love the vibes there. I love that it is curating that kind of, like, mingly vibe where it's like, you can still get a really nice, delicious cocktail and sit and, like, have a cute conversation with someone. It doesn't have to always be flirty. It just, like. I don't know, I really miss that about the U.S. because it's just not a thing here. But people are telling me that it is a thing in Madrid. So it's just, like, mostly a Barcelona thing. Maybe, I don't know, for those of you that have lived in Spain, but maybe you live in other cities. Please tell me, because that is the one thing that just breaks my heart about living here, is that people, like, when they go out, unless, okay, it's different. Either you're at a super touristy bar and it's just all tourists. Then of course, like, they're open to talk to people because they're on vacation. But I don't typically go to those bars, like, for the reasons I just said. So if I'm going to more local bars, like, no one speaks to each other because they're just out in their little groups and they have, like, no desire to broaden their horizons and speak to other people. Um, which is fine as well. But I don't want that because, I don't know, I can speak to my friends whenever I want. Not in that environment. I'm kind of like going out to, like, I don't know, just have like a stupid conversation or something. I think it's fun. Me personally. But it's not very easy to do in certain bar environments. So you have to have the right venue and the right level of music and the right type of music. Because if it's like super loud regeton or like super loud house music, it, uh, depends on the house music. But you get my point, like, also depends on the type of music. So the music that they had at Motor Oil was like, perfect for talking but also enjoying the music. And I was like, ugh, Chef's kiss. They just get it. So I really loved that. I had a super fun time making content that night. And it was a little crazy of me to go out on a Wednesday night, like, whoa. But I need to get over that because, like, that's a normal thing here. And I'm still always stuck in, like, my American schedule. U um, it's like, okay to leave the house on a school night. You know, it's okay. Uh, and then yesterday I went out for dinner for my friend Talli's birthday and we went to Gala restaurant and it was super good. They opened a new sushi club. And that's just like essentially a room that's like in their downstairs, that's like a separate kind of like part of the restaurant. Um, so they have like a giant, like 32 seater table. So you sit with random people. But, like, there wasn't so many people that we were like, right next to a bunch of others. Like, we had, you know, some space between everyone. Um, but I really liked it because the menu upstairs in Gala is like kind of a mix. Like there's like two sushi rolls or something and then there's like some pasta and it's kind of a mixed menu. Whereas the sushi club downstairs has like its own larger sushi menu. And I'm a bit picky when it comes to sushi, I normally get, like, veggie sushi, or I'll do, like, crab or shrimp or lobster, but. O. Yeah, I guess they always call it langosta here, but it's shrimp, so shrimp or crab. And, like, just the raw fish. Like, it's the taste and the texture. I just. I can't. Like, I really wish I could, but, like, I can't. I try. And so I was very brave last night, and I was like, hey, I'm not gonna get the veggie roll. Like, I'm gonna get the truffle roll that has salmon in it. And it was very good. It was very good. I didn't, like, overly taste the taste of salmon, actually. It really wasn't fishy tasting at all, which is, I think, isn't that usually a good sign of sushi? Like, it's not supposed to taste, like, fishy. It's supposed to taste, like, very fresh and, like, I don't know, good. I don't know. So the taste, I didn't mind. I just hate the fishy taste. But I don't think you're supposed to have an overwhelmingly fishy taste with good sushi. So it didn't taste fishy, which was very good for me. But the truffle mayo and the avocado on top were also really good. So, like, that obviously helps add some other flavors and textures to it. Um. Um. But just the only thing is, if I get a bite where, like, a chunk of salmon, like, grazes over my tongue, like, it has to immediately go to my teeth, like, my molars. Because if it, like, sits in the middle of my mouth on my tongue, like, o. It's the texture, mostly, guys. Like, it feels like jello. And then I think, ooh, fish, jello. And I don't get roe or tobiko or, you know, caviar or whatever they call it. I don't get eggs on top because the texture of those really throw me off. So I'm always like, no, no, no, no. None of those things. No row on top, please. So that was very good. I ate a whole salmon roll. I was very proud of myself. And then I did also get a second salmon roll, which was just salmon and cream cheese. And then I'm actually really glad the truffle roll came first, because by the time the salmon and cream cheese roll came, I was thinking it would be good because it's just very simple. Literally just salmon and cream cheese. But then I ate one, and I was like, mmm. There's not Quite enough other accoutrements here to like, get rid of the salmon texture. So then I just had like, like I just said, like, the salmon was just like sitting in the middle of my mouth and I was like. And then it was like so much cream cheese that I was kind of like. So I had like two of those pieces and I was like, nop, can't do it. That was enough salmon for me. Tonight I did the ey truffle. Give myself a pat on the back. Can't do the second rol. So I was like, everybody, here's a free for all. Just eat my roll. I't. I can't do it. Um, but I'm very proud of myself because I'm trying to broaden my horizons with sushi because it's not the same as in the US where we have a lot of like, Americanized sushi restaurants that kind of cater to picky eaters like me. So they have a lot more like veggie rolls and crab and shrimp rolls. And I would get a lot more of like tempura shrimp, but it's not gluten free. So they also had like tempura shrimp rolls, which I love, but they're not gluten free. So that's like the other caveat. Like, otherwise I would just get shrimp like all the time or crab. But I noticed there's not as many crab rolls here. That's not like, um, um. At least at the restaurants I've gone to, that's not really a thing. So they either have deep fried shrimp or salmon or tuna. That seems to be like the top three. Um, um. Or Wegyu actually is the other one that I notice. Anyways, proud of myself for being brave. I think I have unlocked salmon for myself if it's in the right Rolel. Anyway, so that was. Everyone claped for me. I've unlocked a new level of sushi. So that was our little evening. And then we all went to a tarot reader. Um, and I didn't realize that they had a tarot reader at Gala because I've never been to their downstairs before. I've only ever been upstairs. And um, I guess she. You can go for free because the restaurant pays for her cover. So it's like a five minute. Like she has like a little, you know, like, hourglass timer. I think it's like five minutes per person, which is perfect timing because, you know, obviously, like, if you have a group of us down there and we all want to go, it's like five minutes times five. And then it ends up being like 30 minutes that we're all just kind of waiting around. So I was really nervous to go because I. Well, I have ocd and so I'I also, I think I watched the movie the Butterfly Effect when I was way too young. And I think that scarred me forever because now I feel like if someone tells me something, then what if it automatically happens? Because it's like a self fulfilling prophecy. And like, even if I don't seek out doing it, like, maybe I subconsciously do it just because, like, they said it. Ah. Ah. So I was like, oh, I don't know if I want to do that. That's kind of scary. I'll stick to my Tarot readers on YouTube, you know what I mean? Um, but then everybody else was going and I was like, okay, well, now I'm kind of curious and I feel left out. So I put my name at the end and I went. And she was very sweet, but I could tell that she was like looking to me for guidance on every single card she put down. And I was kind of hoping that she would say something profound, even if it was bullshit, you know what I mean? Like, give me a show. Do a little five minute razzle dazzle, like, make me feel something, you know, do something to me. I have$3.74. Do something to me. Um, but she kind of like kept saying, like, do you want toa ask a question? And I was like, no, I'm just open to whatever you, whatever the vibe you feel, Tell me something. And so she's like, okay, we'll do the card of the year and you guys tell me if you're more like, well versed in this topic, please tell me. But she already had her tarot cards separated into three piles and I don't know, I'm quite well versed in tarot on YouTube. And all the tarot readers I watch never keep their piles. Like, never keep one deck separated into separate piles. Like they always have the full deck together. And I noticed that she had like three separate piles of the same deck. And I was like, oh, so is she just pulling like, you know, it didn't. I already kind of felt like a bit. I don't know. I was like, oh, so then I only have like 10 options for my card of the year instead of like 52 or 72, however many is in the full deck. So I was like, is this how it's supposed to go? I don't know. I was like, let me not. I'm not the Professional. Here, let me shut up and just enjoy the experience. So she puts the card down from the Car of the Year card of the year. And we're doing it in Spanish, mind you, because I think she was maybe Brazilian. Yeah, I think she was Brazilian. So she spoke Portuguese. And then on her sheet, she says she also speaks Spanish and English. Um, um, but I think her Spanish was better than her English. So I was like, yeah, let's just do it in Spanish. Like, ooh. I don't really know all the terms for tarot in Spanish, but she, uh, explained it very easily for me to understand, so I understood her. Except the cards were in French. Or. Yeah, like, maybe the cards weren't French. I think I'm confused. But the first card she pulled out, you guys are gonna laugh. It said, le'o le'le'ile Leile star. The star card. Um, but I just saw the name. Cause she had her hand over the image as she put it down, and then I just saw the name at the bottom. So I just read less toilets. That's what I read. I read toilet. Cause it looks like toilet. So I was like, the fucking bathroom gu. I know that there's no such thing as a bathroom card. Okay? I've seen enough tarot that I know that's not a thing. But in my head, I was like, maybe she has a different deck. She gave me the bathroom card. Oh, my God. So anyways, I am, um, stuck on the name because it'it looks like it says toilet. And then also the image is of a girl using, like, it looks like a chamber pot to rinse off her legs in a river. So I was like, yeah, she just pissed and she's rinsing off her legs or something. I don't know what she's doing, but she's cleaning herself off after she took a piss. Like, that's what it looks like. I didn't tell her this, obviously, but that was what was going through my head. And so she's like, obviously, you know, where are your eyes drawn to first on the card? And I just said, you know her with the little pot rinsing off her legs. That's where my eyes go to. Cause I'm trying to figure out, like, what is this? And she just piss or like, what's going on? So I think she was hoping that I would say something a bit more obvious, like, her tits are out. There's stars on the card. Like, you know, maybe something a bit more profound. So I think with my answer, she was like, okay. And that didn't really give her anything to go off of. So she just started like her regular spiel of like whatever the star card means. And I was like, okay. So she's like, are you looking to work on yourself? And I was like, if you guys know me, um, I kind of always do that. I'm always looking to work on myself. I don't think there's ever a day where I'm trying to not work on myself. So I was like, u. I kind of always do that. But sure, I mean, I guess I can do that this year too. Because I was like, I'm not going to give you like a bunch of feedback. Like you're the one that's supposed to razle dazzle me. So I was like, yeah, I mean, I guess I could. I do already, but sure. Okay. And so then she picks the chariot card, I think. Or I took a picture of it. Let me see. Is it bad luck if I tell this? Don't answer that because I don't care. Cause I'm gonna tell it anyway. You know what? This isn't French. I don't know what that means. Le carior. I think it is the chariot. Le. Le. Yes, yes, it is the chariot. Okay. So then she pulls the chariot card on top of the star card. And I think she was just saying more. It was just more of the same, like super generic. No shade to her. I mean, I know that unless she's truly like clairvoyant or something. I don't know. Like there's only so much you can pick up in five minutes with a random person. So I was not like, I knew it was gonna be very generic, but she's like, oh, uh, so this is a hero of like a lot of self reflection and like, you know, that was basically it for those two. And then she pulled or she had me pull out of the two other piles. So she had one pile and then another pile and she used the first pile for me to pick the first card. And then she let me decide if it was going toa be like my. Oh God. It was all in Spanish. So I don't remember the terms and how they translate to the English terms, but it was like your good card of the year and then your challenger card of the year. So I picked the first one and I said, let's make this one my good card of the year. And it was, I think the king of swords. Just like_eah the king of swords. Okay. And then so yeah, I think she said, I was like very Mentally clear and that I'm very sensitive, maybe possibly extra sensitive to the other worlds. And I was like, okay, I don't think I am, but I do think I'm pretty mentally clear. And then it was the nine of wands for my like, challenger card. So she was like, oh, maybe do you, like, have any relations that you need to focus on or that are not going well? And I was like, no, I mean, I think they're all going pretty good. Like, she was clearly, like, looking. She kept pausing and waiting for me to speak, like, looking at me. And I was like, I don't have anything to say. Like, I don't know. You tell me. So, um, yeah, I mean, like I said, it was a super short session, but that was my only session I've ever had. And yeah, so that was my first experience. And the nine of wands card, um, I ended up just telling her because I was likeay. She clearly is looking for a little bit of something from me so that she can build off of it. So I was like, uh, ah, well, you know, I've never had a boyfriend, so I could probably, you know, work on that area of my life if I'm being more. Or if I'm being honest, like being more open to romantic relationships. And she was like, yeah, yeah, that's what you should work on. So I was like, okay, well, I mean, I kind of just told you, but like, you know, so she was nice. I asked her if I could take a photo of the cards because I wanted to, like, look it up on my own afterwards and just see if I could derive any other meaning because it is kind of like the meaning that you assign to it. Um, and I think maybe was what I was afraid of was maybe like a palm reader or like somebody that was going toa try and tell your future. The tarot cards don't scare me. It'I think it's if someone's gonna try and like, plant an idea in your head of your future and then all of a sudden like, yeah, the butterfly effect thing, like, kind of freaks me out. So the tarot stuff, like, yeah, that didn't bother me at all. I think if anything, it just helps you derive meaning and give you kind of like a helpful lesson or some guidance to something that you might be needing guidance with. I don't know. So I do like just having the cards and like, then I can look up the meaning and like I said, derive whatever resonates with me from those cards. Yeah, I don't know. So I did enjoy It. But now, Now I feel like it kind of opened the door and I'm like, well, now I'm kind of curious if I could go to a reader that will spend time with me one on one a little bit longer just to see how it goes. Because now I'm kind of curious now that I did it because it was a little bit scary for me. I don't know why. Like I said, I think just the loss of control or something, or like, not knowing what to expect. Um, but yeah, it was pretty chill. So overall, very good evening. Very good evening. And then we left and that was it. So that was my week. Yeah. But seriously, if you guys know anything, like how, just based on my quick description of the tarot reading, if that was typical or like, I don't know, you tell me. Anywho, let's move on to my 2025 trend predictions and I'm going to recap a bit of Emma Chamberl's podcast. Uh, first, because I have to give credit to her. Although I already had some of these ideas in my head. I'll clarify as we go through. But, like, some of these I agree with and then some of them I'm, like, a little scared of. So let's start with the predictions that Emma made that I agree with and I hope are trending this year. So, first of all, I agree with her prediction of minimalism, like, 90s clothing that's already been kind of going on, that's not really anything new. But I kind of love the idea of classic clothing that doesn't really go out of style. So like she was saying, like, jeans and a white T shirt that will pretty much never go out of style. There's also like a million ways that you can do jeans in a white T shirt. Like, there's so many types of jeans, so many types of T shirts, and then also whatever you pair it with to create, like, the outfit in total can make so many different vibes. So that was kind of the point she was making is like a lot of like 90s minimalism clothing, even just like jeans in a black T shirt. Um, um, there's so many ways that you can do just that combination that's like, very timeless, but you can also tweak it to whatever trend is going on currently. Um, but yeah, I do like that idea of a lot of, like, the 90s clothing still happening. And then she mentioned grunge and cool tone makeup. I've been seeing this and hearing this kind of like, in social media for a while. Cause I think because we had clean girl makeup even in 2023. And then I remember the trend prediction for 2024 was goingna be grunge makeup, but I don't think that it really took off like people were expecting. So I think maybe now we're ready to round the corner and kind of like leave. I mean, clean girl makeup will never fully leave. I mean, uh, it's gonna be a staple for a long time. It's just like a nice, fresh, not heavy makeup. Like that's never not going to be in. That's always going to look nice as well. But if we're talking trends and what people are going to be showcasing maybe a bit more this year, I think grunge cool tone makeup will be more in style. And I've especially been seeing, especially with like the Mac nudes launch and a lot of people looking for cool toned lip liners that has been really popular, at least like makeup TikTok for the past six months, I would say, because I don't know what it is like on Ariaron Parson's TikTok. Another Hannah, Megan Robinson, they all swatch a lot of lip liners and it's really hard to find like a really beautiful cool tone lip liner. I don't know what it is. Like they all talk about it as well. Like, is it just super expensive for companies to make like a cool toned product? Like, are the blue pigments and like the pigments that you make a, uh, cool tone product with, like, are they just more expensive? Because even cool spice, which Mac just came out with, which is a beautiful shade, it depends on how tan I am. If I have fake tan, it pulls a little bit more cool on me. But if I'm not fake tanned and I'm like my normal pale skin in the winter, it pulls super orange on me. So even cool spice is like pretty warm. Honestly, I wouldn't call it a cool. I mean in comparison to the current spice liner, cool spice is for sure cooler than that. But if we're talking about like cool tone lip liners, cool spices, I would say it's like neutral leaning cool. So I think everyone's just been on the hunt, like cool tone lip liners. And the only ones that I'm aware of, honestly that really do a good job of being truly cool toned are stone and gray from Mac. Those two, I, uh, have gray J right now, for example. But those two are the only lip liners that I'FOUND that are truly cool toned and don't pull orangey at all, like, I don't want any hint of orange in the lip liner. Uh, so that's been something that people have been on the hunt for, and I don't think that any brand besides Mac has really done a good job of providing that. But more than just a straight up gray lip liner, like Stone and Mac are, they're pretty gray. So we. I think we're still missing something in between cool spice and grayish. Stone is, like, in a league of its own, I feel, but Greay is, like, right at the end of wearable slash, a bit avant garde. And cool spice is very beautiful on the cool tone side, but it's still pretty warm. So we're like, in a barometer here where there's like, a lot of shades missing, I feel. And everyone's like, where are these shades? Like, that should be in between cool spice and grayish. If we could just fill that gap in a little bit, I think everyone would be thrilled. But that's specific to lip liners. Emma also said she feels like people will be wearing less blush because we've definitely been in, like, a blush era online for the past few years. I have as well. I think I look really a lot better with blush, personally. I think I naturally have, like, no flush to my skin. So when I put all my makeup on and I add, like, the bronzer and blush, I'm like, I feel like I just got life breathed into me. Like, I finally look alive. I already don't, like, have any natural flush to my face, so I already kind of look like a Tim Burton character a little bit. And that's what Emma was saying. Like, she already kind of naturally looks a little bit like Tim Burton esque. And I don't think I do like as much. I think she has, like, a more of. Of that look, like, with her eyes and her nose, and it's a very beautiful look. I think I just have large eyes, like, but it's not really Tim Burton esque. But with my ple. Non flushed skin. Yeah, I think I'm there. Um, so she's predicting no blush, no faux freckles and light pink shimmer lipstick. Like, think like early 2000s, like, light pink shimmery. I, um, could see that happening. A good. Yeah. With bleach brows, I'm thinking, me personally, like, bleach brows, a smoky eye, cool gray or stone lip liner with, like, a super light pink frosty lipstick. Yeah, I could see that. And then if we can play around with bronzer and like, a teeny bit of blush but not, like, the level I have on now. You know what I mean? Like, it would be a totally different vibe, more like, contour instead of bronzer. Oh, I could be into that. I could be into that. Maybe I should try, like, I'll do it on TikTok or something and see how I like it on myself. But, yeah, I could see that happening because I think a little over a year ago, there was a prediction for it to be or for there to be more grunge makeup. Like, a lot more like, messy eye makeup. And it doesn't have to be like a perfectly. With a tape wing smokey eye. It can be kind of like. Like you slept in it and woke up and, like, a little bit messy. Uh, um. So I. I think that it will be, like, in including these predictions, I think, like, a messier smokey eye will also be in, um, um, think like, gabriete makeup. Perfect example. So another prediction that Emma had was having your signature items instead of buying more. And I was like, oh, this is interesting, because a lot of people have been towying around with more, like, minimalism, like, trying not to be so over consuming with the clothing that you buy or just in general with things that you buy. Because I remember specifically, I feel like I was really in my overumpption core era in, like, 2018, 2019. Like, that was when I was like, oh, my God, I have to buy from, like, pretty little thing. Boohoo, asos. And like, always, like, every other week, like, try and get one or two more things, like, just to keep up with what's going on. And it was insane. And I didn't even wear half the crap that I bought. Like, I really regret having that era in my life because I didn't even, like most of the stuff that I bought. Now I'm much more intentional with the things I buy, and I try to buy higher quality things so that they actually last and don't fall apart after three washes. Uh, but her point was, like, in this, you know, lane of minimalistic shopping trends, uh, having your signature items so, like, items of clothing that people kind of know you for, that's like, kind of like your thing. So it's not really based on any other trends that are going on. Like, it's kind of natural to you and, like, your lifestyle and your personality, and maybe it's just like an iconic piece of clothing that you wear a lot, and maybe you personalize it over time so it's really, like, unique to you and that people will be like, oh, yeah, that's Ellen's jacket or. Oh, yeah, that's Emma's purse. Like, that's like their thing. It's not anyone else's. Like, it's theirs. So I think that's going to be. Be more popular for sure. So she, I think she gave an example. Like, if you have like, a really cool pair of jeans, like, maybe if it rips, like, you patch over it with like a cool color thread that's like contrasting to the color of the je. Or like, even if you like, embroider like something into it so that there's like a patch on it or something, like, make it really unique and just embrace like the worn look over time of like, you loving it and wearing it and actually getting use out of it. I really love that idea because it's like, I think we've lost that. I think it existed at one point in time. Like back in maybe like the 70s, 80s, 90s, like, people would actually wear their items more often and have like, more. I don't want to say like, iconic pieces because I don't think they really thought of it maybe like that back then. But like, maybe a jacket that you wear that's like kind of like personalized or it's like something that you wear that's like, really true to, like, you and your style. Um, that's the stuff I'm thinking of that like, you really wear over time. It, like, is high quality, it looks good when it's worn. And it's like, why are we buying clothes if not to wear them and, like, wear them more than once? Like, that's really silly when you think about it. So you should, like, have your staple items that you wear and like, people recognize you for it and like, it's okay if people see you wear the same thing twice in one week. Also, there's this cool thing called a washing machine. Pretty much everyone has one, so, like, it's okay. The next thing that she predicted is asymmetrical clothing. Like, for example, buttons. I've seen this a lot, just even recently, like online shopping. Um, like I noticed it on Gina Tre Cop, for example. They have a few, like, thin, thinner, like sweater tops or like knit tops, where, like, the buttons will be like, on this side, for example, or they'll be like diagonal across the front. Um, so I've already seen that happening, so I can see that continuing. I, uh, would love to try that, for example, but like, with big boobs, you kind of can't really do the diagonal button thing. It just. Yeah, it doesn't really work, but maybe the side buttons could work. But I think, again, it just. For me, I'm going to stick with the symmetrical buttons. But I can. I've seen this already happening, so that's definitely going to continue. Uh, and then she mentioned the last one that I agree with her that, you know, I want to mention is embracing your own quirky beauty features. So instead of, like, feeling super forced to get surgery for every little thing that you feel needs to match, like, the current beauty aesthetic, like, embracing it and kind of making that kind of, like the same with, like, your staple clothing items, like, making that, like, a staple, like, you thing. Like, that's a, uh, you thing. And like, being more unique. Although it's like, in an ideal world, we would, like, completely embrace, like, everyone's quirks. But she made a point to say, like, we're not there quite yet. Like, I don't think we're there in society where we just, like, fully. Unfortunately, we just don't fully embrace, like, everyone's uniqueness. But there will definitely be more, like, unique features that will be, I guess, trendy, which is not always, like, a good thing anyway, for a body part to be a trend. But I've already seen it a bit with people, like, really embracing their noses and not feeling the need to get a nose job, which I am so glad, because no shame to nose jobs. Like, the best nose jobs are undetectable. I mean, like, with most work is undetectable, but I've seen so many nose jobs that I'm like, no, no, no, no. Like, your nose before looked so good. It fit your face like it was like you. And then after, it's just kind of like the typical ski slope nose that you see everyone get. And I wish there was more nose jobs that were done, which there probably are. But again, they're undetectable, so you're not, like, seeing it. It's not, like, overly pinched. They don't have, like, cartilage sticking out of the top of their nose. Like, if you can't tell, that's the best kind. So maybe there are a lot of good nose jobs out there that I just have never noticed, because I don't know if they have a nose job. But I wish there was more surgeons out there that were doing nose jobs that aren't, like, overly correcting the shape of the nose and, like, kind of staying true to the original shape, but maybe just tweaking something, like, really small, like, I don't know, instead of just completely restructuring the whole thing and making Like a completely new nose. If they just kept, like, keep the nostril width, keep everything, just shave down the hump a little bit or, like, just shave down the sides a little bit, but keep everything else the same. Like, instead of just doing the full revamp. You know what I mean? Like, I wish that there were more subtle ones, but I think there are. You just don't know which is the beauty of a beautiful nose job. You can't even tell. Uh, so, yeah, I think people will be embracing their own features a bit more, uh, which I think is for the best because, like, it's very exhausting to go online every day and feel like you need to sign up for another surgery or another procedure or another injection to, like, feel more beautiful. So I've been trying to embrace that more. Although I will say I really would like to get an under eye surgery because I just. I cannot stand my under eyes. But other than that, like, I used to want to get so many other surgeries, like, one day when I had money for it, blah, blah, blah. But, like, I feel a lot more comfortable in my own self. So it just takes a lot of time because you're undoing, like, so many years of comparing yourself to other people. But I think it's a good trend to embrace how you look. And, like, no one else looks exactly like you. So you should love the way that you look because literally, you are. You are one in seven billion people. And, like, no one else looks just like you, I guess, unless you have an identical twin or a doppelganger, but you know what I mean? So that would be kind of a nice trend to see if people got less super, like, facial changing surgeries. Obviously there's different. There's nuance here, guys. Not everything is absolute, but you know what I mean? Just because they feel like they need to get it on a whim just to feel more beautiful. Okay, so these were some of Emma's predictions that she said she thinks will ll come back. And it's not that she necessarily hopes these all come back either. These are just her predictions. So these are four of her predictions that she made that I hope don't come back. I'm like, no, no, no, no, no, no, Please, no. So the first one she said is skinny jeans, which I already know is coming back because Alex Earl just announced, um, a collab that she's doing with a skinny jean collab. So they are coming back, but I will never be wearing those. So you won't see me in skinny jeans. But we may See them and I don't think they're going to be like, Emma said the same thing. I don't think they're going to be the same, like skin tight, like, like the same as like a nylon, like how tight they are. They're probably going toa be a little looser. But we will see some skinny jeans this year. She said she also thinks indie sleaze is go goingna come back. And I'm like, but I'm quite a bit older than Emma. Uh, so I'm like, no, no. All the millennials will agree with me. Just no, please no. Because she was referring to the fashion era of like slight tumbler, slight alternative, slight mustache vibe. A little bit, A little bit, um, alternative music vibe. But the fashion from like 2010 to 2014. No, I'm sorry guys. No. Like baggy shirts, striped tights, like American Apparel. I'm so sorry guys, but no. For me, that is a hard no. Like, please, no, no, I'm not. No, no. And then she said stripes and polka dots. Stripes will never go out of style. Like obviously kind of like the same one I mentioned with like the blue jeans and a T shirt. Like you can do stripes a million ways. So stripes will never really go out of style. I personally don't like stripes on myself, so I will not be doing the stripes. Same with polka dots. But girl, I. I've seen this actually predicted by several other people already. Why are we doing that? Why? I'm so sorry. When I see polka dots, I think a dog bandana, I think 60s housewife, 50s housewife, even. U not my vibe at all. I will not be participating in skinny jeans, indie sleaze, stripes or polka dots. Absolutely not. No, no, no, no, no. Okay, so separate from Emma's predictions. Moving on. These are my predictions and I, like I mentioned, I tried to keep these fairly separate from like, I didn't want to do any additional research for this episode because kind of like Emma said in her episode, I want to see if these come true. Because then I will be like, hey guys, guess what? I predicted this and it came true. Hah ha. So this is just based on my guesses and we'll see if they come true. I don't know. So I think earthy elements will be a thing. Whether that's for fashion, makeup, interior to interior design. Yeah, I think for sure. Interior design, that's always already been a thing for a little bit. But like dark, like I'm talking interior design, obviously dark, concrete, blacks, light grays, greens, wood. Oh, uh, so Good. That's already kind of been a thing, but you can do that a million ways as well. Like I'm not thinking corporate vibes. I'm thinking like really salt of the earth, like organic vibes. Like not a ton of clean lines, like a lot of organic shapes. Um, um, Moss is kind of coming to mind so that I think interior design has already been happening. But I think for clothing, I've seen a lot of like the hiking clothing, like a lot of like Gore. Gore Tex. Gore Tex. Um, a lot of like especially with ski clothes, like baggy, baggy wind pants for hiking, baggy pants for skiing, um, a lot of like large shield glasses. I mentioned that later in here too, but yeah, with like hiking I'm thinking like this earthy elements goes along with like interior design, hiking and also could be street. Weear. And like maybe some makeup vibes. Like again, kind of like the organic, like no super sharp straight lines. Like very different from 2015, 2016 makeup. Like although we might be wearing heavier makeup this year, it's going toa be a lot more like a little bit messy, a little bit like unblend or just not. No sharp lines. No like no carving out the brows with, with concealer. None of that. Okay, next one. Accessorizing your pieces. So like adding piercings to your sunglasses or a shirt, uh, adding an embroidered image to a piece. Kind of like I mentioned, with like your pants, like a pair of jeans or something. Um, also it's already been super trendy that people add bag charms to their bags. Kind of like um, Jane Birkin did with her original Birkin. So people have already been copying that a lot this past like six months, I would say. Um, but I think in addition to that, like I've already been seeing a lot of like literal sunglasses coming with piercings on them. I love that. I want to pair so bad. I think that's so cool. Or just like having yeah, like, like piercings on your, on your clothing. I think that will be a thing. Uh, and then yeah, more like quirky, unusual things on your clothing that you customized personally because you like it and it's like your thing. Um, next one. This also kind of goes with earthy elements because I feel like these two themes go well together but like post apocalyptic aesthetic. So like think Dune meets corporate America kind of, kind of, um, like a lot of earthy colors. So like anywhere from like gray, black, white to like neutrals and beiges and browns and then like maybe a green or a blue in there and a lot of the Silhouettes and the textures and the shapes on clothes. I already noticed that a lot. Uh, like black leather, brown leather, even if it's fake leather. But like the leather look, a lot of leathers, a lot of knits that are drapey. Um, also a lot of structured like jackets. Uh, yeah, also a lot of flowy, more like tunic y tops and dresses that kind of like flow and sit with your curves. I really like that. And then like I mentioned shield sunglasses. So like I've already noticed a lot of sunglasses that people are wearing and we're kind of coming back into like, ah, a light lens era where I think for a while we were having like full blackout lenses where you couldn't even see your eyes through them at all. And I love the look of them, but I also hate wearing them because I can't see. I can't see anything. Even during full daylight. I'm like, I can't see. So I love the lighter sunglasses because I can see better out of them. And also they look really good for photos. So um, and you can wear them during the day and it doesn't feel. Or you can wear them like all day long. Like even if it gets a bit cloudy and stuff and it doesn't feel like an overkill to have them on, you know? Um, so yeah, like more like orange lens, like bigger chunky, uh, frames as well. Like really chunky black frames with a really light lens. Also, um, like monochromatic glasses where like the lens and the frame are similar shades but the lens might be a little lighter than the frame for example. Uh, but yeah, super big. Like super big. And also really fun shapes. Like there's this one Tom Ford pair of glasses that's like vintage or it's not current. Like you can't actually currently get it anywhere. And I've seen it on like three separate people in the past couple weeks. And I'm like, I need, I need those glasses. Like that fits my vibes so perfectly. I need them. But I've been on the hunt and I have no idea where I could get them. Uh, so we'll see if I can find those. But yeah, I also just love like, I also love blackout glasses, but I think lighter lens shield shape glasses will be more popular this year. Not like an Oakley vibe, separate Oakley and rayb Ban. No sporty vibes. It's like, it's like high fashion vibes, if that makes sense. Like it's not sporty. So that I think is an important distinction. Uh, and then I already kind of mentioned this, but like, yeah, like neutral colors but with something unique about it. So maybe like the shape or the fabric is unique or the structure of the clothing is unique. Or like the buttons, like the asymmetric buttons. Like it might just be like a white knit shirt but like something is unique about it, like the buttons or the stitching or there's like a pop of color somewhere on it or like something embroidered on it. And also like I mentioned, structured silhouettes, long trench coats with like the not like shoulder pads per se, we're not going full 80s, but like a bit more structured shoulders and then like a really tapered waist so that it already gives you like a really nice shape when you're wearing in it and you don't just kind of look like you're wearing a blanket. Um, or I've seen with like more like leather jackets, like a really structured waist and then like actually over exagger hips. So a lot of like cut waists, big hips, big shoulders, very hourglass shapes with um, a lot of like coats and jackets, mesh fabrics. So like a lot of see through fabrics under a big coat. That's also something um, thrifted and vintage furs and leather. Because this might be a bit of a hot take, I. Although I don't think that we should go out of our way and make a market specifically for fur and leather. First of all, thrifting it and finding it vintage from like your family or just finding it in a vintage store is always going to be like the most ethical option because it's already made. And so if you can take care of it and keep it for a long time, that's obviously the number one best option. In my opinion. The number two best option is just to maybe not furs, I'm not really into furs, but leather. Like I said, I don't think we should create a separate market just for the demand of leather. But it's like if there's already going to be meat consumption and like leather could come from that and we're using the whole animal. Like I feel like it's more like eco friendly to just do that. Because also the pu leather, like the polyurethane is super crappy. It'snna like degrade and break and crumble within a few years. It's not going toa last you a long time. And then when it breaks down, it's just plastic. So, you know, I did a lot of research into this and I personally feel that like, I don't want to go out of our way to have Just animals being made for leather and that's it. But it's like if we're going to be using other parts of the animal anyway, you might as well use it. And I would prefer that over a pu leather. But, um, I'm more than that. I think it would be better to find leather alternatives that are not plastic. So like, I've seen a lot of people creating more biological options like plant based leathers. I think that's going to be the best option moving forward. It's not as widely available yet, but I would much rather buy a plant based leather because I don't want to contribute to more plastic in the world. And then if it can be like my thought process when I've just bought my new leather work bag is if that is a good quality work bag, it will last like it should last like 50 plus years and I should never need another one. So that should be like my bag. That's it. I should never need another one. Whereas like, if I got a, if that same bag was polyurethane, I'll probably need another one in like five years because it's going to be just crumbling and look like crap and like not functional. So that's my thought process on that. But obviously I think thrifted and vintage items in general, but especially furz and leather will be very popular as people want that look but they don't wa want to contribute to that problem, which makes sense. So that's my opinion on that. But I do think that will be a trend this year. Uh, knits. And maybe this is a bit niche because I've been into knitting lately, if you guys have heard previous episodes, but I think it's even better if you knitted it yourself. So like starting to contribute to your own wardrobe by either knitting and like doing like a Norwegian specifically, specifically a Norwegian pattern sweater. I think that's gonna be very in um, kind of like a grandma sweater almost. But even better if you knit it yourself. And I think a lot of people are actually going to start sewing their own clothes because I've seen people just being like, you know what, eff it? I'm not happy with what I can find in the stores. It's all made out of plastic, it's all cheaply made. I'm just going to get a damn sewing machine and sew my own clothes. So I think that's going to become more popular if people just being like, you know what, fine, I'm just going to make my own clothes because everything is made out of plastic. I also think tote bags will be a thing. So no more teeny tiny little bags that you can barely fit, like your house key and your lip gloss in. Like I think people are going to go for the opposite and like swing the other way and just bring tote bags everywhere and be a bit maximalist with it with like the keychains and the charms and everything. And also like being able to fit all the stuff that you realistically need when you're out on the town. I think this will be more relevant to people who live in like New York, Chicago, like cities or like Europe, because a lot of us are out and about for the day, like walking around and you might just like need stuff and you can't quickly run back to your house or whatever. So you might just be like needing stuff for whatever activities you have planned for the day. And although we love a little teeny tiny bag, it's just not practical. So I think people are going to be going to like tote bags with all the charms, being a bit maximalist with it and having a bunch of stuff with you. I think that will be the trend. Uh, maximalist jewelry. I've already noticed this a trend, so I feel like this is like not a full fully my idea because I've already noticed it. But big organic shaped pieces, not like really rectangular or you know, straight lines and stuff. Like a lot of like organic shaped pieces. Um, silver I think is going to be more popular as it has s been more popular. But I think similar to the cool tone makeup trend, a lot of people have been trying out silver jewelry. But I also think people will be mixing more gold and silver jewelry together and not caring like if they're like matches their color tone or their color analysis or whatever. Like I think people will just be mixing it and yeah, it will be like a lot of necklaces, a lot of rings, a lot of bracelets, a lot of earrings and just kind of like a lot, which I love. I'm really excited for that. And I've been like slowly building my jewelry collection over the past like six months to achieve that look because it's. I can't just go all out and buy it at once. You know what I mean? That's kind of crazy. But I think like building up a collection, looking at your parents jewelry, collecting vintage jewelry, adding it, it doesn't have to all be like super cohesive. Like that's kind of the beauty of it is it's like some sentimental pieces. Like it's a bit mix and match. I Think that will be a trend for sure. It's already kind of happening, but I think it will continue. Pointy toe, pointy heel boots. This one might be super specific because I just bought a pair and I just felt like I needed that. I felt like that was a gap in my wardrobe and that I personally needed a pair of those. But I think it will also be a trend because for the past two years, I've noticed, at least here in Europe, that people wear, uh, well, specifically girls. But I think people in general have been wearing a lot of, like, big leather, big, chunky, big tread boots, which I still love. I still love. But I think people will go from a more refined look. So, like, the pointy toe. The pointy heel. No, like, huge, big treads, no round toes. Like specifically pointy toesus. Um, it gives a very different look to your outfit than like the big round toe tread boot. I think it looks really good with a pair of jeans. Looks good with a dress. It looks good with really anything you pair it with. And you can dress them up or dress them down. Like, they really go good with pretty much every outfit. So I think that will be a staple, like a short. It doesn't have to be a tall knee boot. Just like, you know, maybe two inches above your. Two inches above your cankle, two inches above your ankle, you know, and then pointy heel, point, pointy toe. Pointy toe, pointy heel. I also think it will be popular to have heels with an unconventional shape as the heel. And I've already noticed this a bit. Obviously, this is why it's coming to my brain. But think Dries Van Noten. Is that how you say that? Dries Vanen. Hey, I was pretty much right. Dries Van Noren. So think them. If you're not familiar with the brand, I would look it up. Um, but I've already noticed, even just not with that brand, but in general, a lot of, like, no block heels, no stiletto heels. Like a weird shape as the heel, maybe a weird color as well. I think that will be popular especially for summer heels. Maybe not so much winter, but like summer heels. Yes. Also think pirate toe heels. Like mista. I just found out about this brand. Like, yeah, I would say probably six months ago. And they specialize this pirate toe shoe. And I think it will become more of a trend just to have something unique. Like I said, like, um, not something so basic and so normal. Like it's taking like. Like I mentioned, like the pointy toe, pointy heel, black boot, but instead of the pointy toe, pirate toe. That's all I'm gonna call it pirate toe, but I don't know how else to call it. I think that will become more popular not just with mista, although I think they kind of like, coin if I'm going to call it a look. It's like the mista look, but I think other brands will copy it. Uh, I also think acid wash will become more popular. So think kind of like along that, like, earthy, grunge, post AP apocalyptic vibe. I've already seen it with a lot of, like, knits where the knit will be gray, but it looks like it has an acid wash on it. So some of it will be, like, blotchy. Like, it looks like they splashed a little bit of bleach on it. Like, not super obvious, like tie dye bleach, like acid wash. Uh, so with like, grays, browns, blues, those kind of colors with like an acid wash color, uh, on it, I think that will be popular. Also very large, oversized coats. Um, so these are going toa be separate from the structured coats I was talking about. But also think long coats, minimum mid calf. Minimum. I think if it hits ankle, perfect. But minimum mid calf. Anything above mid calf is, like, too short. Um, unless you're going for like a butt length. That's totally different. But it's either butt or mid calf or lower. Like the. In between mid calf, like knee, mid thigh. No, no, no, no, no, no. So, uh, large oversized coats are going to be separate from that as well, but also still very long, like you're swimming in it. And these will be more like puffer coats, like, um, duvet cover coats, like a comforter coats, but yeah, like a big, super, almost comically oversized coats, um, that are super long. And it's kind of like you're wearing a comforter with sleeves and a hood kind of. I think that will be a thing. Um, and we'll be doing a little bit less slicked back buns and a little bit more Olsen tuck or Pam Anderson bun with, like, little tendrils sticking out, you know, so a little bit less like. Because I also think everyone's getting tension alopecia and we're kind of like, over it. I mean, I know I have, like, breakage on the top of my head from doing so many tight buns, which I think will always be a staple. I think that the slick back buttons are not going to go away, and I hope they don't, because I still enjoy wearing a slick back bun. Don't get me wrong. But I think in favor of my hairline, I'm gonna be opting for more, like, more hairstyles with less tension. So that's why I'm predicting that it will be more like Olsen Tuck vibes or Pam Anderson. Like, messy updo. Uh, and not like a messy top bun. No, no, no messy updo. There's a difference. I've been doing mine with a claw clip. Cause I have a lot of hair, but I need to get it all up somehow and then letting the tendrils kind of like just naturally fall over. And I think that's perfect. Uh, also, Athleisure that is adapting to the corporate in office life. We know how many companies have been rolling back their remote work policies and trying to force their employees back into the office. Well, I think no one is like, running to the store excited to buy, like a new pair of slacks and a polo. So I think what Athleisure brands are going to start doing is like, because especially in the US this doesn't really apply so much to Europe, but especially in the US So many people are just used to wearing Athleisure, like literally every single day. Uh, I think that the brands will start catering more to looking upscale while still feeling like an athleisure outfit. Uh, so, like yoga pants that look like slacks. And honestly, I've already seen it, they look identical. Like, you really can't tell. So I think it's honestly kind of genius, um, because they. The only difference really is just having like the belt loops and the pleats and the zipper. The rest of the pant looks kind of like, ah, a loose, wide leg yoga pant. Honestly, just the pleats and the zipper and the belt loops make the biggest difference. And if Athleisure brands start adapting that, I think that would be a big thing. That's the pants specifically. I don't know if they're gonna be able to pull off corporate looking shirts as athleisure. That will be interesting to see. But I do think that more like, I'm thinking, obviously, like Lululemon and other brands will start adapting more to like, corporate acceptable outfits so that they can keep their customer base and also pitch it as like, oh, you're comfy in the office. Like, you know, wear our stuff. Don't go to Nordstrom Rack. Like, stay here. So I think they will do that. And then what is out for 2025? We're leaving it in 2024. My predictions, Cowboy boots. I know this is a bit of a hot topic because many people are still in the cowboy boot trend, but I think it's been like, just a little overdone. I think, like, you can, I'm not saying throw out your cowboy boots, guys. I'm just saying, like, wear them in a little different style. Maybe. Maybe not so obvious that you're wearing a cowboy boot, maybe just under a pair of straight leg jeans. It's not like you're not like making the boot, like the outfit. Like, you're just wearing them like you would any other boot, you know, But I think like the silver cowboy boots, bright pink metallic cowboy boots, like, that's not really going to be a thing anymore. Also bows. I think we're kind of done with the bows. I never really got into them because I'm not really into like the coquette, like, cute ballerina vibe. That's never really been my vibe. But I think we're done with the bows. Like I said, I think we're done with the tiny bags. Even though I do love a tiny bag. I think, like I said, I don't think like, these trends are going to be like 100%, you'll never see them again, but like, you won't make it like the main focus of your, your fashion, you know. So tiny bags, I don't think we're going to be seeing those much. Barrel jeans, I never really understood these in the first place, but I don't think we're going toa continue because they just, they only look good on like 1% of the population and they're just, they're not really. I don't think they're going toa stick around children worrying about skincare routines. Yeah, I know it's partially because of TikTok, but like it really. Although I get it because when I was that age, I was already like fully into makeup. Oh, see, that's a hard one. It really depends on the age, though. And if I was a parent, I just wouldn't want my kid to be worrying about that stuff so much already. Like at uh, like 9, 10, 11 years old. Like, that's so young. And it's like, nice to just like, let kids be kids as long as you can. Because they have their whole life to just worry about adult stuff and be worried about how they look. So it's like, if you can just preserve that innocence for like a few more years until they're like 11 would be like, amazing. I guess. I don't know, because I try to think back to myself. Like, I started wearing eyeliner when I was 10, but I also didn't have the Internet and I imagine if I was, you know, if I had TikTok back then I would have been like fully like I need to go to Sephora and get drunk elephant and get bioma and get everything. So I would have been that kid and I would have wanted my mom to like let me try it. But I just don't want them to worry about their skincare routines. And like I've seen 10 year olds using retinol. Like a 10 year old does not need retinol, you know, So I just think kids should not have skincare routines. Yeah, maybe they try like one lotion and one face wash, like that's normal. But I think like having a full routine and like worrying about a makeup routine when you're like 10 is just, it's just too much. It's just too much. You have your whole life to worry about that. Like just enjoy being a kid for like two more years, please. And then you can worry about it. And then last one I will say that I hope is out is crop tops. Selfishly for me because crop tops have been a thing for like the last eight years and I'm just done. I'm done. I'm done. I want shirts that cover my freaking belly. Okay. It has been so difficult for me to hunt and find non crop tops that I actually like for the past like eight years. And thankfully I think over the past year I've noticed them not being so popular like on online websites when I'm looking for clothing. So I hope we're done with freaking crop top era. Okay? I understand if there's like a look that kind of calls for a crop top vibe but like just regular everyday shirts being like 4 inches too short, I'm so over it. I just want regular length shirts. Just if it could come to the top of my hip would be um, amazing. So I'm done with crop tops. I really hope that we're not doing that anymore because I'm just so over it and that is my last trend prediction. So I hope you enjoyed that was really all I have to share and um, I'm interested to see if you guys agree you disagree. If you have any of your own personal trends, please share them in the comments because I would love to read through them and, and I'm just curious, I'm already really curious to like see what's been going on on the runways. Like Copenhagen Fashion Week was just last week. Um, couture, the Schiaparelli ah show was beautiful and also follows that same trend. Of like the cut waist with the super over exaggerated hips. Um, then we had Men's Fashion Week. So there's already been a few fashion weeks just in the past couple weeks that I want to, you know, study and see what trends I noticed. But, yeah, this was kind of fun. I just put this together kind of off the top of my head, but I'm excited to see if any of these predictions come true and then I will come back in probably towards the end of the year and see which ones come true. Uh, I don't really have any pop culture and trends. Let me think. Mostly TV shows lately, because I don't know, TikTok hasn't really been the same since it came back. Um, but I am rewatching Outlander from the beginning just to feel something. Just to feel something. Cause I've been like, weirdly pining for a boyfriend lately, and I don't know why. It's really annoying me, actually. Um, but just Outlander, just to feel something. Uh, what else? Oh, perf Falso. My friend Yi showed it to me. We watched the first season back in like November, and then I just. I didn't know they were making a second season, but the second season just came out. So I just started watching that last night and it's pretty good. Like, it's kind of soapy, but it's good. So I'm definitely gonna finish binging that tonight, I think. And, um, what other shows and movies? I mean, I still really want to watch Noferatu when it comes out on streaming. And, uh, that's it. Otherwise it's like awards season. So I guess we'll be seeing, you know, like what Grammys and Oscars. I think that's coming up. Or maybe did one of those already happen? I don't know. But that will be coming up soon, so I'll probably chat about that. Otherwise, that's about it. That's about it. So thank you guys for watching and let me know, like I said, if you have any trend predictions. Also, like I said, I've been really trying to ramp up my Instagram and my TikTok specifically.
