A Day In The Life Of The Cowboy's Wife
This is Trish Charleston, a/k/a, the Cowboy’s Wife, coming to you from the metropolis of Rt. 1, Reeds, MO, where the rooster is crowing, the cows are mooing, the horses are pawing, the dogs are barking and the cats are literally circling, because I’m supposed to be out there feeding them right now instead of talking to you.
If you don’t know me, I’m first and foremost a Christian and a now a writer and blogger. I’m a wife, a mom, a Gaga, a rancher, a former paralegal, and as all of those things, a myriad of others just trickle in. If you have children, you know the many hats we all instantly wear, from chauffeur to doctor to cook to house keeper, the list goes on an and on.
The reason I’m doing this podcast is simply that Bob Goff and God are making me. They are both very bossy in my life and as Bob always says, “Let faith guide your steps,” so I’m stepping out here on faith with each session, hoping that my life stories will simply help your day be a little brighter.
I’m hoping to bring some laughter and light into
your day with my experiences in life. I’m no expert on anything but I’ve lived for 56 years. I’ve gone through and even done the good, the bad and even some ugly in my life. I have some hilarious stories that will make you laugh so hard that you blow coffee out of your nose, to some that will make you just flat ugly cry. I have
been blessed with good writing material being married to the Cowboy, living and working on the farm, working in the legal world, raising children, having grandchildren, going through “the menopause,” the list goes on and on.
This is a day in the life of the Cowboy’s wife, to brighten the day in yours.

21. | People Need People: Finding Strength Through Faith and Connection | A Day In The Life Of The Cowboy's Wife with Trish Charleston
Hey friends! In this episode, I’m diving into a truth that’s been heavy on my heart: people need people. I’ll be talking about how, in times of tragedy, many of us are drawn closer to God, seeking His comfort and strength.
We’ll also reflect on how God places certain people in our lives—sometimes to help us take accountability, sometimes to motivate or inspire us, and sometimes simply to remind us we’re not alone. Each connection can be a blessing, even when it comes as a lesson. And through it all, I’ll share why I believe prayer is one of the most powerful things we have—it can move mountains and mend hearts.
Come join me for an honest, heartfelt conversation about faith, community, and the grace we find in lifting each other up.
🎧 Tune in and be encouraged—you’re never alone!
