What makes Juan Garcia with Lion of Judah Property Solutions a good neighbor?
We talk with Juan Garcia of Lion of Judah Property Solutions about what it takes to build trust in a service business where reliability, communication, and follow through matter every day. Serving property owners, real estate professionals, investors, and property managers, Juan provides junk removal, property cleanouts, lawn services, and light renovation work designed to help clients maintain and prepare properties efficiently.
Juan shares the personal journey that led him to start the business in 2020. After leaving a career in automotive sales and overcoming a serious health challenge, he chose to move forward with faith, determination, and a commitment to serving others. That experience shaped both his approach to business and the values that guide the company today.
We also discuss one of the biggest misconceptions Juan encounters regarding his company name and faith based branding. He explains why Lion of Judah Property Solutions was never intended as a marketing tactic but rather as a reflection of the principles he tries to live out through honesty, service, and integrity. For Juan, business is an opportunity to serve people well and let actions speak louder than words.
The conversation also highlights practical ways to build trust during service projects. Juan shares how proactive communication, detailed project updates, and before and after photos help keep clients informed throughout a job, especially when property owners, investors, or managers are unable to be on site. These small details often make a significant difference in the customer experience.
We also explore how Juan has grown the business through referrals, social media, Google Business Profile, and consistent community engagement rather than relying heavily on advertising. His focus remains on delivering quality work, earning repeat business, and building long term relationships within the communities he serves.
If you are interested in entrepreneurship, property services, or learning how trust is built in local service businesses, this conversation offers valuable insight into the mindset and practices behind sustainable growth.

Welcome To Good Neighbor Podcast
SPEAKER_00This is the Good Neighbor Podcast, the place where local businesses and neighbors come together. Here's your host, Sophia Liv.
SPEAKER_01Welcome to the Good Neighbor Podcast. Are you in need of a junk removal company? Well, one may be closer than you think. Today I have the pleasure of introducing a good neighbor, Juan Garcia, with Lion of Judah Property Solutions. Juan, it's great to have you on today. Now we are excited to learn more about you and your business. So go ahead and tell our listeners just a little bit more about your company.
Meet Juan And His Services
SPEAKER_02Yeah, thank you. Thank you for having me here. It's a great honor and a privilege to be here with uh Good Neighbor Podcast and honor to be here with you, Sophia, as well. Uh my name is Juan Garcia, and uh we are a uh property solutions company that helps out uh real estate agents, uh property managers, property preservation brokers, uh investors uh with their properties that they are trying to either sell or just trying to renovate just in general. And uh we've been going strong for about five years, and we help out with trash removal, lawn services, and we do some painting as well.
SPEAKER_01Wow, Juan. So five years.
Leaving Car Sales On Faith
SPEAKER_01So how was the idea for this business born?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so uh initially it started back in 2020. I used to be a car salesman. Uh, I was just one day in my desk, uh, just waiting for somebody to come in through the door so I can sell a car to. And uh it I felt it in my spirit in that time to get up and go to the manager and go get my two weeks notice. Uh, not knowing what was gonna happen, I felt it deep in my spirit. You know, when you feel like doing something and you want to move in faith, well, that's exactly how I felt. I didn't know how I was gonna uh obtain finances uh with you know to my family, with what kind of work I was gonna do, but I knew that God was on my side in that time period, especially from coming from from a really bad sickness and covet back in in 2020. And uh man, let me just tell you, it was it was uh one beautiful ride of suffering, but also of blessing.
SPEAKER_01Wow, what a story, just like it says in the word, you know, you walk by faith and not by sight. So, Kwan, you have over five years of experience in this industry.
The Religion Misconception Explained
SPEAKER_01So, today, what is that number one misconception you come across in the junk removal industry?
SPEAKER_02You know, one of the biggest things that uh has actually kind of tried to uh make me feel a little bad is using line of Judah. Uh, many people have told me that why are you using religion to get money? Uh people are not gonna understand unless they walk with God, and I believe that walking with God is a personal relationship. And I said, I have to honor God in the best possible way, especially of where he took me out of in the past from sickness, from you know, from bad habits in the past, and he did all that just because of obedience, and how can I not honor his name everywhere that I go to this day? So that's that's kind of like a misconception that people say, Hey, why are you using line of Judah religion to get money? I'm like, no, it's more than that, it's a ministry before it's a business.
SPEAKER_01I see. And why do you feel like that's so misconceived, or why do you feel like that upsets so many people? And because of that, how do you work harder to establish trust your clients?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so uh when I go out there, there's two Bible verses that I always keep in my heart, right? One Bible is one Bible verse is the golden rule, right? Is treating others the way you want to be treated. And that's in the book of Matthew. When you go out there and work with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, as if you're working for God and nothing in return, that other individual that you're helping will feel that. And uh it that's just basically how we operate, we try to do it as best as possible that they feel that we are really trying to serve them, just like Jesus Christ when He came, He came here to serve and not to be served.
SPEAKER_01100%.
Marketing Through Social And Referrals
SPEAKER_01So Juan, we know that marketing is the heart of every business. So with people having this misconceived notion about your business, you know, how do you choose who your clients are and how are you making sure to get the word out about your business?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you know, like I said before, uh, we are a very humble and simple business. Uh, most of the marketing that I do is via Facebook or TikTok or Instagram or or Google My Business. And I do all the recording myself. You know, I do the before and I do the afters, and sometimes we even have fun with it. So most of my clientele base has been through referrals and not so much uh SEO, not so much spending thousands of dollars on on Google My Business or anything like that. The Lord literally puts the clientele base he wants me to serve right in front of me.
SPEAKER_01Wonderful.
Trust Built With Communication And Photos
SPEAKER_01Now, once you're working with a client, how do you help to establish that trust with your client during the junk removal process?
SPEAKER_02You know, I think communication is by far uh very important, keeping your customers updated. For example, once we arrive, we say, hey, we have arrived here uh at this property and we're about to start. And then once we're done, we let them know, hey, we're also done with the trash removal and we send after pictures. So working with a lot of property managers, one thing that I have learned is to always send a lot of pictures. Real estate agents, property managers, investors like to see a lot of pictures. So I think that's one good way to um with communication to be able to gain their trust and just showing that eagerness to want to help them.
SPEAKER_01Wonderful,
Gratitude And Finding Peace
SPEAKER_01wonderful. Now, outside of work, what do you do for some R?
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So uh I do a little bit of everything. One of the biggest things that I do like doing is reading the Word of God. I like to spend time with my family, teaching them uh morals, teaching them Bible principles. Uh, I like to go out to the lake. I like to go ride bicycle. Uh, I like to see nature. I like to see the birds early in the morning drinking coffee and just listening to the birds chirp. Uh, you know, I like listening to the rain when like it's raining. I like to hear the the raindrops falling. I like to see the sunset. I mean, I like to see everything that God has put out there that sometimes we just take for granted. Just being thankful for what we take for granted sometimes, you know, a roof over our heads, food, clothes, uh, vehicles, everything is his. And we just got to be thankful for the things sometimes we take for granted.
SPEAKER_01Juan, what brought you to that mindset? Because that is not a mindset people are just born with. So, how did you get to the place of that much peace?
SPEAKER_02It well, you know, it that's a really good question. Thank you for asking me for that question. I really do. Because somebody out there that's gonna listen to this, that is not even business, you know, related or anything is gonna bring peace to them. So uh I come from a background uh where it was really tough. Uh, I used to suffer with some bad habits. Uh, I wasn't the best person in the past either. But it is true when Jesus says that I am the way, the truth, and life, and no one goes to the Father except through him. When we eagerly follow him and pick up our cross daily and just learn to rely on him every day from finances, from family issues, from from issues maybe in your business, or maybe you can't really pay a bill, or you don't have money in your bank account. Learning how to rely on him that he will provide as our provider at the right time is what gives me my peace to learn to rely on him and depend on him.
Leading With Transparency And Heart
SPEAKER_01Now, Juan, having that mindset, how does that play a role in your business today as far as the clients that you serve?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so one of the biggest things being a small business, a small family-owned business, uh, is sometimes not having the resources, not having the people that you need, or maybe not having the money to do uh big projects, you know, but the Lord always finds a way to put the money that you need to invest and do the work. One thing that I like to make sure that we understand is that I'm a very transparent person. Uh, being transparent and being humble are key factors to uh to gain trust and to move forward uh owning a business because there's a lot of competition out there, and what sets us apart is what's in here, what's in your heart. And as long as we have our Lord Jesus Christ in our heart, people will see that. You know, we are the light of the world, we're that salt, and if there's no salt, it'll lose its flavor, right? That's what the word of God says. So if it loses its flavor, there's you know, there's then what are you? So being the light of the world, being different from others and how they carry themselves and not being so much partakers of this world and being different, set aside for him, people will notice.
Showing Faith Through Action And Prayer
SPEAKER_01Juan, we're gonna go a little bit deeper here for a second before we close out. So um, I ask you again, how do you take these biblical principles and use them in a tangible way to deliver the word to your clients to incorporate biblical principles into the way you handle business and to show more than tell?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, uh, so love can do all things. If we understand that the Lord loves us, like John 3:16 says, it says that he loved the world so much that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him shall not perish. It's more of a feeling that our customers are gonna feel. It's a feeling, it's all spiritual, and people won't notice that. And it's by action, it's not so much about reading the word of God, and that's it, it's it's applying what the word of God says and people seeing what the word of God says, right? And and I think that's the important thing. It's being a doer of the word of God, and not so much of a hearer or a listener, but doing the things. And and a lot of times in in jobs, I see a need, and I should simply say, Hey, do you need a prayer? Is there something that I can pray for you about? Literally in the job site, there's videos on TikTok that I post me praying for people, like homeless people or even people that are in need, like homeowners, and you can see a relief. I think that's more important to be able to pray for people and see and you seeing the relief right there while you're working than gaining, like getting the money you know that you're gonna get at the end of the of your job once it's done. To me, that's the most satisfying thing to see that you're praying for somebody, seeing relief afterwards, it's what it's what fuels me. It's that that's what I say is I think it's a ministry before it's a it's a it's a job, but not not not. I'm not gonna the business will not be just anywhere. I think the Lord will put the right people that need it at the right time. So it's really hard to understand, but I hope it's not confusing, it's more spiritual than anything, but I hope it makes sense to somebody out there.
SPEAKER_01Well, everything is spiritual before it is physical. So, final
