Hi, Performers and Achievers. Welcome to Performers and Achievers Daily with me, Raj Gavrulla. This episode today. First of all, I don't know where you are, however, it doesn't really matter what the day's like. You just walk outside, you just look at what has been created today for each one of us. Right? Sometimes we don't uh have thankfulness or gratitude or appreciation for things that are already there, and we just look at one day and go the next, and maybe think, well, I wake up in the morning, everything will be the way it is. However, there's a lot being created every day. Just being able to absorb that and being thankful for it and having gratitude and appreciation for it, it's pretty amazing. At a retreat or something where you're looking at all sorts of different things. So that's what I experienced today, and sometimes I just rest and go outside and just absorb all of that, and that's just really puts me in a frame of mind where I'm clear-minded and allows me to reflect on just how there's a lot of good in living and all the good in my life, and to reflect on all the good in your life. So today's episode is not about that, however, it's something that was on my mind, so therefore I included it in my podcast. However, today, and I know people, and you, your time is something that's important to you. Each person's time is important to them, and where they invest that time is important as well, and how they block their time, their schedule, their calendar. So today I'm talking about the importance of having more than one AM routine, having more than one late afternoon routine, and having more than one PM routine. And so here's why. My morning routine usually is about twenty minutes. However, on some days, I have a shortened version, which takes about ten minutes. So it's 30 minutes. However, I have a shortened version that's 10 minutes. And then my PM routine is my longest routine because I include a lot of the things as part of my PM routine, including what am I looking forward to in the evening, eating dinner with my family, and then winding down my day. Usually I'll read a chapter in a book. And then I have these blue blocker, blue light blocker glasses I wear, which looks a little strange walking around like that. Lights aren't as bright, and then I like to go to sleep at 10 p.m. However, some days. So if you don't have an AM routine, starting with 20 minutes may be too challenging, or it may be hard, or too hard, or difficult. So instead, start with 10 minutes. Then on days when things are a little slower, you may not have as many meetings, you're not working on a presentation, whatever it may be. You're not traveling somewhere, needing to attend some events, then on those days you can have a longer AM routine. And the same thing applies to the to your late afternoon routine and to your PM routine. So that's what I have for you today. So your bonus assignment is if you don't have 2 a.m. routines, two late afternoon routines, and two p.m. routines, how about implementing one at a time? Designing one, implementing one. Not all together, one at a time. You have time to do that. Don't try to put everything together and go rush to do it. Because when you're in a rush like that, then that's what's causing sometimes the stress, the anxiety, and that's when it's good to space it out. So anytime you introduce something, it's good to introduce it in a structured way because it's gonna affect the environment you have and the communication leadership culture you have. And so that is a stimulus into your environment and your communication leadership culture. However, stimulus should have tangible benefits, and you should experience tangible beneficial results. And the way you do that is by not overloading yourself because then you have cognitive overload, then your cells get stressed, and then may have anxiety or performance anxiety, and thinking that maybe you know your frame of mind is like, yes, I need to do this, and you rush to do it, and then looking for almost that one thing that's going to solve everything for you, and it's and it won't. However, by applying your practical learning and your practical research, then you can highly individually customize this for you yourself, and then what I do as a mental performance coach is I help and support my clients in their routines. Because those routines, as you progress and evolve, they're gonna adapt. You will adapt them, you'll make slight adjustments. Right? I mean think of it, in anything that you do, whether you're at work, in your business, at your job, all that's the same to me, you have adapted and made slight adjustments because you're applying your practical learning and practical research. And then in sports, let's say you play soccer, you're able to shoot a specific type of soccer shot, however, another type to add to your skill set is challenging, or maybe very challenging, or it might even be hard, and then that's why you have a soccer coach, someone who's coaching you, professionally coaching and training you, and that's why people come to me for mental performance coaching. I professionally coach and train them, and so all of my services and programs are private, personal, professional, confidential, and they're highly individually customized to you or you and your team because what I know and believe is that no two people are alike, each is different, and each person, persons, or individual situation is different. Now there are similarities, however, it's not a one size fits all, and so therefore, you would customize your services and programs with me, with my professional help and support. That's what I have for you today. If you like my podcast, like it.
