All right to Formers and Chievers. Welcome to Formers and Chievers Daily with me, Rogue Caprulla, in today's episode talking about your success list. How to simplify your success list. Here's something that may help. I like to help others. And sometimes this is the way to approach a success checklist, and it often works. At least it's been uh helping some with me. And of course, you've probably heard something to the effect of inch by inch is a cinch, yard by yard is hard. And so here's how I structure my success checklist. I have my AM routine. So after I finish my AM routine, that is a win. And then I pray for my health, and I pray for my dad's health, and I do the things that are beneficial to my health. Like, for example, I hydrate, I eat healthy, I have a specific nutrition plan, and I eat at home as often as I can. And then, like many people, I have a medical team, and so I look and see where we are, where we're experiencing successes, results, accomplishments, achievements, and where there's areas to improve. What's the treatment plan, or what's the some of them call it a game plan, some of them call it the game. I don't necessarily call it that. However, I pray for my health and I pray for my dad's health. Secondly, I have that, and then I visualize or think of the possibilities of how my health is allowing me to experience results, achievement, accomplishment, successes, and improve in specific areas. And that's just something good to keep in mind. And I have self-compassion in my heart, I have self-love in my heart, and I have peacefulness in my heart. And I pray for real peace and prosperity. And secondly, I have my business or work goal. So I have my health goals previously, and then the future goal of health, or what it's allowing me to accomplish. Achieve, receive experience results, successes where I'm progressing, improving, all of those things. Then I have my goal for my business or work. My work goal. So my work goal is this podcast is my goal. And this is a result. It's achievable. It's accomplishment. And so any of those goals I know it's achievable. It's not something that I'm projecting in the future of achieving. I know I am very capable of helping you all with my podcast. And with my health, I know I'm very capable of understanding more and more about my health so that I can be of more benefit and helpful to my medical team so that my health does receive results, accomplishment, achievement, success, progression. And so I learn about it. I try to understand it. Not to the extent of a medical doctor, however, in a way so that I can talk intelligently and be helpful to them. And as you all know, I'm a proponent of teamwork. I understand the idea of individuality, I like that. Independent work, I like that as well. However, reality is reality. There's times in life that most people like this. I don't know anyone who isn't. I don't think you could really survive without being like this. My foundation is teamwork. Team first. So I have relationships. Example, my relationship with my dad, my relationships with the doctors. I help them be an intelligent, asking the right questions so that they can help me more than help me with help with the right treatment. And so my podcast. Well, I don't just get on my podcast and just start talking, and that's about it. Takes quite a bit of work to put together the podcast. It looks easy, like most things, sounds easy. However, I have my system for my podcast, and some days it's easy, and some days it's challenging. But with my system, what I realize is that each time out, I'm either learning a skill so that it's a little easier, and I'll explain that with an example. So my podcast is accomplishable. I receive a result, success, sense of accomplishment, and that feels good, and it feels really good because for those who are out there, it helps others, and I like to help others. Now, the thing with my podcast is after that it's my success goal, and naturally, after I do my podcast, I uh did my podcast win, so it's a win. I said good morning to my dad this morning. That's a win. So these relationships are important, and had to realize the demarcation of when it's a relationship that's about just being friends or family, family first, or colleagues or friends, then when it's about is it a something about business or work, or is it about something about sports in those specific areas? And to realize that there are different parameters for those areas, right? So that's reality. And so what is the skill that I would contribute? Or what is the skill to learn to make my podcast easier and receive the result and it helped more people, so that's my success goal. Also, with my podcast, which is not really in my control, however, I think about it and visualize a little bit about it, or not necessarily visualize, just think about the possibilities of what that podcast does in a very beneficial way, in a very helping others' way. Same thing with my health. As I'm healthy or more healthy, it's beneficial. Not only beneficial to me, it's helpful to others because I'm in a position to be of more help. And then so with my podcast, for example, I have people contacting me that invite me to be on their podcast. They somehow found out about my podcast, and they have a podcast, and it's a good fit. Therefore, I take a look at it and see what I can contribute to help them and help others. Then my other goal is to exercise. I prefer exercising, playing sports. However, I do go to the gym to do specific exercises that are beneficial, helpful, useful, receive results. Success is a sense of accomplishment, achievement, playing sports. So I'm a basket, I'm a soccer, basketball, tennis player. Yeah, I don't play that often, however, depending upon what's occurring, I like to when the weeks are good, play each one or practice each one once a week. That's not always possible, and then I just look at what are the possibilities from doing that, right? So I'm in a position, since I do that, of experiencing results, accomplishments, achievements, and successes that I don't know about. They're unknown, they're uncertain, they don't I have no control of them. However, they're there, and some of it feeds into my health, some of it feeds into I just enjoy like playing those sports, and I have some relationships in those sports, and most of those relationships are just soccer friends, basketball friends, tennis friends. Wouldn't really say that they're friends in the sense of real friends. However, it's just good to have people out there who have some common interest, common goals of playing soccer or training basketball or playing tennis, and some of them do, our friends, not many, as far as a real friend, and so for lunch I eat at home, then I do my late afternoon routine, which is where I meditate and I box breathe. My box breathing is done in different ways. Sometimes I box breathe, like most people know to box breathe, and that is know-how, and that is breathe in five, hold five, exale five, hold five, and repeat that. However, I added a skill. So I had a skill where I breathe in, where I'm self-talking or saying with conviction in my mind something that's makes me more skilled, and that is something that I'm using, and so then I have my dinner with my dad most nights, some nights I don't, depends on what's occurring. And then I have my PM routine, and in my PM routine, or in the evening, I'm always looking forward to something, and it's simple for me or easy for me. The thing I look most forward to is dinner with my dad. And we eat dinner and we talk about the day before dinner, then after dinner we hang out. That's allowing both of us, right? Allowing you to experience results, accomplishments, achievements, successes in your health, in your success goals, your success exercising, however, whatever way you do those. I like a variety. So I also do Tai Chi some days of the week, I do yoga some days of the week, and that's enjoyable. Today I'm running sprints, so that's an accomplishment, a result that I'll experience, an achievement I'll experience, a success I'll experience. Doesn't matter how fast I run them. Some days I run them faster than others, and I'm actually rehabbing my left knee, so this would be a good opportunity to go out there and see the progression that I've made from physical therapy and dribble the soccer ball and kick the soccer ball with my left foot. That's the one where my knee, my left knee, where the three tendons are coming in on the inside of it, that's where the pain is. That's what's keeping me from actively playing soccer matches. And so, see how simplified my success checklist is. To help others, to help you, wherever you are. And I know it's for performers and achievers, and in reality, most per people are performers and achievers. You're just being too hard on yourself. That's reality. Or you're trying to compare yourself to someone and that's not gonna benefit anything. And there's other point of views or perspectives that you're using that are detrimental. And that's what I'm here for. As a professional mental performance coach. And that's reality. It takes a combination. So sometimes it's honing a skill. Sometimes it's adding a skill, a new skill. Sometimes it's removing something, simplifying. And it's a combination of those things. Because I won't know your profession. You know your profession. What I know is the mental performance, coaching, training, teaching strategies, and skills. And that's how I help mothers. And it doesn't matter what level. Listen to my previous podcast. I can get a baseline on anyone. And there'll be some areas where one person is further along than the other, and then some areas where the exact opposite will happen. It's not a comparison. And I know in our society people like to compare. And if you've read my book, Winning at Entrepreneurship, Common Sense Strategies for Business Owners, you'll realize that. There's multiple lists of who's, etc., the best in something, or number one in something. There's more than one list. It's objective. Or if it's not, in some cases, then they're not gonna be at that spot all the time. So and regardless, in our society, and this is a little part of my purpose, mission, philosophy, vision, values, you experience results, accomplishments, achievements, success. Regardless. And you're rewarded for it. Not only the ones are the ones or whomever that are at the very top. That would be ridiculous. And so that's what I have for you today. Summarize Have three success goals. And they're achievable, accomplishable. You receive results, successes. And after you do so, they're a win. Have your AM routine. Your nutrition plan. Then have your late afternoon routine. Then have your PM routine where you're looking forward to something in the evening. What the possibilities could occur. When me and my dad talk, we talk about possibilities. Talk about, hey yeah, we should talk about something, and never really thought about visiting that place. That wouldn't have occurred without us talking to each other, meeting with each other before dinner and hanging out after dinner. So those are the things that are keeping you thriving. That are making you receive results, successes, accomplishments, achievements. Keep in mind, inch by inch is a cinch. Yard by yard is hard. If you like my podcast, like it.
