Confessions of a Tarot Reader
I'm Bex. I'm here to make Tarot a little less scary.
I'm giving you a personal, behind the scenes tour of what it's actually like to be a tarot reader.
I share with you what I'm thinking as a reader, what you can expect as a client, and how this whole tarot thing works in the first place!
Confession booth highlights this season:
- Why I refuse to answer Yes/No questions
- When my friends are also my clients, how we maintain boundaries
- My wierdest, woo-woo-est readings
- Chats with fellow tarot readers
- Actual readings
- Toxic clients, toxic readers
- Can I read your mind?
- What I'm thinking when you're back for a reading about your ex
- How you can find an accurate, reliable reader
- How to prepare for your very first tarot reading
- How often is too often for a reading
- How to tap into your own intuition and read for yourself
I'm so glad you're here.
Let's see what the cards have to tell YOU this season.
Confessions of a Tarot Reader
9. Hannah - When the student is ready
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
When the student is ready, the teacher appears.
Well, turns out Hannah is the teacher and I'm the student. Even if it didn't start out that way!!
I'm joined by young Hannah today, a new tarot explorer. We compare notes on learning tarot, reading for friends vs strangers, how tarot unlocks other psychic sense and spiritual experiences, and agree she must return for a future episode!
We reference a couple of decks and books, all of which are highly recommended.
Decks:
Tarot of the Divine by Yoshi Yoshitani
The Modern Witch Tarot Deck by Lisa Sterle
Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot Deck
Books:
Tarot: Connect With Yourself, Develop Your Intuition, Live Mindfully by Tina Gong
Modern Witch Tarot Journal by Lisa Sterle
