About Tammy Toney-Butler: https://www.reflectivespacesministry.com/about

Hello, welcome to Reflective Spaces Ministry. Today I have a teaching and message for you that was placed on my heart by the Holy Spirit. So without further ado, I will bring to you his message and teaching on sinfulness and pride. I will be bringing up a PowerPoint presentation after we pray so that you can glean knowledge and knowledge points to assist you as you dive into Amos I'm sorry the book of Acts and as we dive into Obadiah and in Philippians so I will be bringing up that in just a moment but let us pray Abba Father Oh Holy Spirit come let them see you and not me let them hear the words of our precious Lord Jesus And let it penetrate bone and marrow so that they can see the truth and that any veil can be lifted from their eyes so that they can truly see and that they have spiritual ears to hear. Lord, bring them a place that they can listen to this, where they're not distracted, where they're full of peace and that they're present in the moment. so that they can listen and hear what it is that you are trying to get across to them in this time that we have together. Father, thank you for giving me the words to be able to bring your truth and light into the darkness. In the mighty name of your son, your precious son, Lord Jesus, we pray. Amen. Now I'll pull up the PowerPoint. And it's on sinfulness and pride, which we know leads to destruction. Again, I'm Tammy Toney-Butler of Reflective Spaces Ministry. And today's scriptural references that we will be using, we're going to be looking at Acts Obadiah and Philippians three. So grab any piece of paper that you have to take notes, your Bibles, your highlighters, anything that you need that you want to jot down, uh, any information. I will be posting this video up on our YouTube site for Reflective Spaces Ministry, and I will have it available for you. It will also be going out on podcast format. So if you are listening to it with the podcast and you do want to actually see the PowerPoint slides, then switch over to our YouTube channel. Do like and subscribe and share so that others can glean from this free knowledge. Because freely as we receive, freely shall we give. And we know that God's people perish for lack of knowledge. So it is paramount that we bring the knowledge and the teaching that individuals need to get set free from the past and break into whom God has called them to be. For it is a time of awakening for the body of Christ for us to realize our kingdom assignments and walk in unity as brothers and sisters under the head, which is Christ, because remember we're the body. So again, I'll be reading, go ahead and pull up, um, whatever you need to assist you, uh, as the learner, as we dive, uh, in. Also we have teachings, uh, on reflective hour with Tammy, Tony Butler, uh, and messages there. So make sure that you like and subscribe to both channels. Thank you so much. And we're going to get started. Acts ten. Barriers to spreading the gospel. In Acts ten, I'll be reading out of the New Living Translation. So I'm going to grab my Bible. And turn to Acts ten. And of course, the Lord has placed on me different versions. So I have three or four Bibles laid out in front of me. So I want to make sure I am grabbing the right one. And I am because when you follow the Lord, it's all about obedience. And even the small things matter because he trusts us. He trusts us to deliver the content which he's placed on our heart. in the manner in which he's given it to us, that we don't lean on our own understanding, but that we follow what he's giving us and the word of truth. And because we all have different perspectives, people have different opinions, but We don't have the opinions when we have the word of God because we go by what it says in scripture and we go by what the Holy Spirit whispers to us as we have a relationship with him and as we mature and move from milk to meat. So again, I'm going to be reading Acts ten. In Caesarea, there lived a Roman army officer named Cornelius, who was a captain of the Italian regiment. He was a devout, God-fearing man, as was everyone in his household. He gave generously to the poor and prayed regularly to God. One afternoon, about three o'clock, he had a vision in which he saw an angel of God coming toward him. Cornelius, the angel said. Cornelius stared at him in terror. What is it, sir? He asked the angel. And the angel replied, your prayers and gifts to the poor have been received by God as an offering. Now send some men to Joppa and summon a man named Simon Peter. He is staying with Simon, a tanner who lives near the seashore. As soon as the angel was gone, Cornelius called two of his household servants and a devout soldier, one of his personal attendants. He told them what had happened and sent them off to Joppa. Peter visits Cornelius. The next day, as Cornelius' messengers were nearing the town, Peter went up on the flat roof to pray. It was about noon, and he was hungry. But while a meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. He saw the sky open, and something like a large sheet was let down by its four corners. In the sheet were all sorts of animals, reptiles, and birds. Then a voice said to him, Get up, Peter, kill and eat them. No, Lord, Peter declared. I've never eaten anything that our Jewish laws have declared impure and unclean. But the voice spoke again, do not call something unclean if God has made it clean. The same vision was repeated three times. Then the sheep was suddenly pulled up to heaven. Peter was very perplexed. What could the vision mean? Just then the men sent by Cornelius found Simon's house. Standing outside the gate, they asked if a man named Simon Peter was staying there. Meanwhile, as Peter was puzzling over the vision, the Holy Spirit said to him, three men have come looking for you. Get up, go downstairs, and go with them without hesitation. Don't worry, for I have sent them. So Peter went down and said, I'm the man you are looking for. Why have you come? They said, we were sent by Cornelius, a Roman officer. He is a devout and God-fearing man, well-respected by all the Jews. A holy angel instructed him to summon you to his house so that he can hear your message. So Peter invited the men to stay for the night. The next day he went with them, accompanied by some of the brothers from Joppa. They arrived in Caesarea the following day. Cornelius was waiting for them and had called together his relatives and close friends. As Peter entered his home, Cornelius fell at his feet and worshipped him. But Peter pulled him up and said, Stand up. I'm a human being just like you. So they talked together and went inside where many others were assembled. Peter told them, you know, it is against our laws for a Jewish man to enter a Gentile's home like this or to associate with you. But God has shown me that I should no longer think of anyone as impure or unclean. So I came without objection as soon as I was sent for. Now tell me why you sent for me. Cornelius replied, Four days ago I was praying in my house about the same time, three o'clock in the afternoon. Suddenly a man in dazzling clothes was standing in front of me. He told me, Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your gifts to the poor have been noticed by God. Now send messengers to Joppa and summon a man named Simon Peter. He is staying in the home of Simon a tanner who lives near the seashore. So I sent for you at once and it was good of you to come. Now we are all here waiting before God to hear the message the Lord has given you. The Gentiles hear the good news. Then Peter replied, I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism. In every nation, he accepts those who fear him and do what is right. This is the message of good news for the people of Israel, that there is peace with God through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all. You know what happened throughout Judea, beginning in Galilee, after John began preaching his message of baptism. And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. And we apostles are witnesses of all he did throughout Judea and in Jerusalem. They put him to death by hanging him on a cross, but God raised him to life on the third day. Then God allowed him to appear, not to the general public, but to us whom God had chosen in advance to be his witnesses. We were those who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. And he ordered us to preach everywhere and to testify that Jesus is the one appointed by God to be the judge of all the living and the dead. He is the one of all the prophets testified about, saying that everyone who believes in him will have their sins forgiven through his name. The Gentiles received the Holy Spirit. Even as Peter was saved, these things the Holy Spirit fell upon all who were listening to the message. The Jewish believers who came with Peter were amazed that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles too, for they heard them speaking in other tongues and praising God. Then Peter asked, Can anyone object to their being baptized now that they have received the Holy Spirit just as we did? So he gave orders for them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Afterward, Cornelius asked him to stay with them for several days. Now let's dive in a little bit more into the PowerPoint and see the message that the Lord has for you today that he placed on my heart. He put these in order for me and they just sort of came together like this beautiful masterpiece and painting and know that I couldn't do any of this. Everything, all of this is because the Holy Spirit is speaking and was speaking to me just like he was speaking there. Go this way. This is the way. Walk in it. And as believers, that's what we have to have today. We have to get still and hear the whisper, get in those environments to where we can truly hear and obey what the Holy Spirit is telling us, because it's not just about scriptures and the word of God. It's also about the relationship. with Lord Jesus Christ and how the Holy Spirit speaks to us so that we know the heart of Lord Jesus. And remember, if we know the heart of Lord Jesus, we know the heart of God because if you've seen Jesus, you've seen God. And the only way to get to God, the Father, Abba Father, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our precious Lord Jesus is through Jesus, is through the cross, the work on Calvary. So let's go and dive a little deeper. And for all of those who are listening to us from all parts of the world, we thank you so much for tuning in and sharing as we are united as a body of believers under one head, our precious Lord Jesus. Megathings. Spiritual separation from God. Personal bias, prejudice, traditions, and laws. Earnestness is not righteousness. Doubting God is rebellion, and that is sin if we walk in doubt and unbelief. So let's look at the conditions on the ground. Peter had prejudice in his heart due to the way he was raised in the faith, Jewish religious traditions. Cornelius didn't believe in Christ, but sought God, feared God and was generous to the poor. Cornelius was a Gentile. Conditions on the ground again. He was spiritually hungry, but did not have the right food. He didn't have the gospel of the truth. No one had brought Christ to him. My people perish for lack of knowledge. Gentiles are seen as unclean or inferior, not Jewish. Peter leaned on his own understanding, believing Gentiles were less than and could not receive salvation through Jesus. Conditions on the ground. It required a three-part heavenly vision for God to change Peter's mind. took a personal encounter. And like myself, when you have a personal encounter with Lord Jesus, that life-changing moment where you go from life to death, you're never the same. You're never the same. Never the same. Because then you walk in freedom and you're free from the oppression that you had when you were under a sin. When God speaks, we must not challenge what he says and become rebellious. Instead, we are to humble ourselves and submit to his will and not our own. Cornelius diligently sought God and God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. Even if the ninety-nine are safe, He often sends us after the one. But many overlook the ones. But God does not. I can tell you how many times, so many times, He has sent me after the ones. He has sent me to many states, even internationally, virtually, after the ones. He truly has. And I've had divine encounters And those people have been forever changed because they knew that there's no way that was coincidence that God had sent me. And then I was an answer to prayer. How many of you are obeying and you're the answer of prayer for someone? How powerful is that for us as the body of believers that we get to be the hands and feet of Jesus and go where he sends us? There's no higher honor than that. Because it's not about ourselves. It's about the kingdom of God and bringing it on earth as it is in heaven. It's about the condition of our hearts and being able to receive the good news of the gospel. Cornelius prayed, revered, sought God, and was generous to the needy. He had great character. So let's compare and contrast Peter and Cornelius. Peter was a Jewish fisherman turned preacher and Cornelius was a Gentile, wealthy and a military man. Peter, God's plan included him and God's plan included Cornelius. Peter was a Jewish Christian leader and Cornelius was a Gentile Christian convert. Peter had a mandate to spread the gospel. He had the spiritual food to stop the famine. But Cornelius lacked the right spiritual food to sustain him. He did not have the good news of the gospel. Peter fed the spiritually hungry and Cornelius fed the physically hungry. They were both men of character. Barriers to spreading the gospel, a person's religious background and upbringing, religious laws and traditions, personal feelings, prejudices and biases, how we've been raised and brought up, how we've been led to believe certain truths. Failure to recognize that the good news of Christ is for everyone, regardless of race, gender, language, culture, lifestyle, economic or educational level, or geographical location. The good news of the gospel is for everyone, whether you are rich or poor, gay or straight, white or black. It is for you because it's when you have a personal encounter with our precious Lord Jesus. that you are forever changed. And the Holy Spirit comes in and makes you a new creation in Christ, renewing your heart and your mind. And it's a process, but it starts with opening your heart to the truth of God's word and his plan for your life and being obedient to what he's saying to you, yielding yourself to what he's saying to you. Coming to a place of surrender. His will and not your own. Acts ten, thirty four through thirty six. New Living Translation. Father wanted me to stress these scriptures. The Gentiles hear the good news. Then Peter replied, I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism. In every nation, he accepts those who fear him and do what is right. This is the message of good news for the people of Israel, that there is peace with God through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all. Acts ten, thirty seven to thirty eight. New Living Translation. You know what happened throughout Judea, beginning in Galilee, after John began preaching his message of baptism. And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who who were oppressed of the devil. For God was with him. Acts ten thirty nine to forty new living translation. And we apostles are witnesses of all that all he did throughout Judea and in Jerusalem. They put him to death by hanging him on a cross. But God raised him to life on the third day. Then God allowed him to appear. Acts ten forty one to forty two new living translation. Not to the general public, but to us whom God had chosen in advance to be his witnesses. We were those who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. And he ordered us to preach everywhere and to testify that Jesus is the one appointed by God to be the judge of all the living and the dead. Now, let's look at that a little more closely. Not to the general public, but to us whom God had chosen in advance to be his witnesses. We were those who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. Why were they chosen? Have you ever asked yourself that question? What qualifications did they have? Did God know that God could trust them with the truth? That they would not twist the truth for their own agendas? Did God realize that? That they would bring to you a true account? of what happened and not bring to you erroneous reports that erode the integrity of an individual's statements, accounts, actions. We must be held accountable for what we say. If we sway individuals in the wrong direction, As men and women of faith. Are we buying into lies or are we speaking the truth of God's word? That's the question we ask for you today. You will be held accountable for your answer. We are only to go by the word of God and the truth. We are to call things exactly as they are. We are not to exaggerate or bend the truth so that we can get a particular outcome that we deem is what's needed to advance the kingdom of God. We are to not lean on our own understanding and only follow the word of God. Logos orama. That's it. That's our choices. because otherwise we will be led astray, and that can lead to a path of destruction as a nation and as a world. Remember that. Remember that. Remember that. Now, Father placed on me Obadiah. God judges those who harm his people. And he wanted me to read the English standard version of Obadiah. So I'm going to just grab that real quick. And I'm going to make sure that I grabbed the right word. I did. And everybody take a moment if you need to. I need just a sip of water. Thank you, guys. And let's continue. Obadiah. Obadiah. The vision of Obadiah, Edom will be humbled. Thus saith the Lord God concerning Edom. We have heard a report from the Lord and a messenger has been sent among the nations. Rise up. Let us rise against her for battle. Behold, I will make you small among the nations. You shall be utterly despised. The pride of your heart has deceived you. You who live in the clefts of the rock, in your lofty dwelling, who say in your heart, who will bring me down to the ground? Though you soar aloft like the eagle, though your nest is set among the stars, from there I will bring you down, declares the Lord. If thieves come to you, if plunderers came by night, how you could have been destroyed. Would they not steal only enough for themselves? If great gatherers came to you, would they not leave gleanings? How Esau has been tillaged, his treasures sought out. All your allies have been driven you to your border, have driven you to your border. Those at peace with you have deceived you. They have prevailed against you. Those who eat your bread have set a trap beneath you. You have no understanding. Will I not on that day, declares the Lord, destroy the wise men of Edom and understanding out of Mount Esau? And your mighty men shall be dismayed, O Timon, so that every man from Mount Esau will be cut off by slaughter. Edom's violence against Jacob. Because of the violence done to your brother Jacob, shame shall cover you and you shall be cut off forever. On the day that you stood aloft, on the day that strangers carried off his wealth, and foreigners entered his gates and cast lots for Jerusalem, you were like one of them. But do not gloat over the day of your brother in the day of his misfortune. Let me read that again. But do not gloat over the day of your brother in the day of his misfortune. Do not rejoice over the people of Judah in the day of their ruin. Do not boast in the day of distress. Do not enter the gate of my people in the day of their calamity. Do not gloat over his disaster in the day of his calamity. Do not loot his wealth in the day of his calamity. Do not stand at the crossroads to cut off his fugitives. Do not hand over his survivors in the day of distress. The day of the Lord is near. For the day of the Lord is near upon all nations. As you have done, it shall be done to you. As you have done, it shall be done to you. Your deeds shall return on your own head. For as you have drunk on my holy mountain, So all the nations shall drink continually. They shall drink and swallow and shall be as though they had never been. But in Mount Zion, there shall be those who escape and it shall be holy and the house of Jacob shall possess their own possessions. The house of Jacob shall be a fire and the house of Joseph a flame and the house of Esau stubble. They shall burn them and consume them and there shall be no survivor for the house of Esau for the Lord has spoken. the kingdom of the Lord. Those of the Negev shall possess Mount Esau, and those of the Shaphat shall possess the land of the Philistines. They shall possess the land of Ephraim and the land of Samaria, and Benjamin shall possess Gilead. The exiles of this host of the people of Israel shall possess the land of the Canaanites as far as Zarephath, and the exiles of Jerusalem who are in Zarephath shall possess the cities of Negev. Saviors shall go up to Mount Zion to rule Mount Esau. And the kingdom shall be the Lord's. And the kingdom shall be the Lord's. Wow. That's good. That's yummy. Yummy word. Let's keep going. Conditions on the ground. The people of Edom took advantage of God's people when they were down and in need. We know that this is the shortest book of the Old Testament. The people of Edom were filled with the sins of pride, anger, arrogance, rebellion, boasting, and gloating at others' misfortune. Look at that. Let me read that again. The people of Edom were filled with the sins of pride, anger, arrogance, rebellion, boasting, and gloating at others' misfortune. These are hidden sins of the heart that go to the posture of the heart. They're invisible to the naked eye, but God sees into the hearts of men. And he reads the book of your life by looking at your heart, the posture of your heart, towards your fellow man, towards your brethren. Because are we not all brothers and sisters in Christ? Jesus, those of us who accepted the gospel, we are to be unified, not divided. You're being held account for everything you say and do. Watch yourselves carefully that you are not deceived and fall into sin and unrighteousness. Conditions on the ground. Points to the condition of humanity then and now. What is the heart posture of humankind? Refuse to humble themselves and surrender to God's covenant truths. Believe they were a superior nation and race. Wow. They believe they were superior. Wow. And remember, we dealt with that a little bit earlier where Simon Peter was looking and believing that they were inferior and that the Gentiles could not get the good news of the gospel. So we have to eliminate those barriers so that we can spread the gospel to all those that we are called to do so. Let's look at Obadiah. English Standard Version. These are the two sections that the Lord wanted me to read and to put in here, which means he's placed an emphasis on them. The pride of your heart has deceived you. You who live in the clefts of the rock, in your lofty dwelling, who say in your heart, who will bring me down to the ground? Though you soar aloft like the eagle, though your nest is set among the stars, from there I will bring you down, declares the Lord. Obadiah also speaks of the great day of the Lord when all prideful nations will be judged regarding their actions, Jesus' second coming. So it speaks to us being judged later for our actions and that posture of our heart. What's our intent when we do something? Is there malice behind it? Power? Greed? Money? Are we selling the kingdom of God out for money? We have to be very careful. We will be judged. The fateful remnant will be restored. The kingdom of heaven will be established on earth. We will usher in hope, healing, and peace. Restoration for God's people. Abba Father will do anything for his children. And he wants them protected. Who are his children? Believers. Those that accepted the good news of the gospel. Because from the moment you accept Lord Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, of your life. He comes into your heart and you're never the same and you become his son and daughter. Wow. Isn't that amazing? Let's have a moment of reflection. What's your heart like? Are there old wounds that maybe break open and bleed, bleed onto others? Maybe there's childhood trauma, past hurts, unforgiveness, bitterness, hate, anger, things that are still in there that are causing us to accept deception and speak out hate And what does hate look like? It can be speaking against your brother and sister in Christ. We aren't to gossip. We aren't to judge. We aren't to celebrate at other people's misfortune. That's not what Jesus would do. And aren't we called to mirror Jesus? We're to be little Jesuses on earth. That's our mandate. So are we being transformed by the renewal of our heart and mind? Or are we still operating from past hurts or biases or prejudice towards our fellow man? We need to ask ourselves these questions. Now let's look at Philippians three, heavenly citizenship. Remember, we are all part of God's kingdom. We're citizens of heaven. Can you believe that? It doesn't matter what race we are. It doesn't matter what part of the world we live in. It doesn't matter if we're documented, undocumented. We're all citizens of heaven and we are not to resemble the world. We're not. We're not. And boy, we're going to see that now as we read. Philippians three. And he wants me to read as a new living translation. So again, let me make sure that I have the right one. I believe I do. Make sure. Yes. New living translation. The priceless value of knowing Christ. Whatever happens, my dear brothers and sisters. rejoice in the lord I never get tired of telling you these things and I do it to safeguard your faith watch out for those dogs those people who do evil those mutilators who say you must be circumcised to be saved for we who worship by the spirit of god are the ones who are truly circumcised we rely on what christ jesus has done for us we put no confidence in human effort though I could have confidence in my own effort if anyone could. Indeed, if others have reason for confidence in their own efforts, I have even more. I was circumcised when I was eight days old. I am a pure-blooded citizen of Israel and a member of the tribe of Benjamin, a real Hebrew if there ever was one. I was a member of the Pharisees who demand the strictest obedience to the Jewish law. I was so zealous that I harshly persecuted the church. And as for righteousness, I obey the law without fault. I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. Yes, everything else is worthless. when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus, my Lord. For his sake, I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, or one translation says dung, so that I could gain Christ and become one with him. I no longer count on my own righteousness. through obeying the law. Rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ. For God's ways of making us right with himself depends on faith. I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him sharing in his death so that one way or another, I will experience the resurrection from the dead, pressing toward the goal. I don't mean to say that I've already achieved these things or that I've already reached perfection, but I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. You're either going to be possessed by the Spirit of God, by the Holy Spirit, or you're going to be possessed by Satan. I would much rather be possessed by the Holy Spirit of truth than by the world and the sins of this world and operate through flesh. No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing, forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God through Christ Jesus is calling us. Let all who are spiritually mature agree on these things. If you disagree on some point, I believe God will make it plain to you. but we must hold on to the progress we have already made. Dear brothers and sisters, pattern your lives after mine and learn from those who follow our example For I've told you often before, and I say it again with tears in my eyes, that there are many whose conduct shows they are really enemies of the cross of Christ. They are headed for destruction. Their God is their appetite. They brag about shameful things and they think only about this life here on earth. But we are citizens of heaven where the Lord Jesus Christ lives, and we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power to which he will bring everything under his control. See that? With which he will bring everything under his control. There's no need to fear. There is no fear in perfect love. No matter what your circumstances, you stand by faith because Christ has you and he is in control. God is in control. So let's look at the conditions on the ground. Paul, who once was a member of the Pharisees, and the Pharisees demanded the strictest obedience to Jewish law. Pure-blooded citizen of Israel and a member of the tribe of Benjamin. Paul obeyed the law without fault and persecuted members of the church. Paul had an encounter with Jesus and was never the same. And we heard about, remember we just read about Simon Peter who had an encounter. Paul had a changed life and counted the old life done for. He no longer counted on his own righteousness through obeying the law, but became righteous through faith in Christ. Philippians three is our reference there. Now let's look at Philippians three, seventeen to eighteen in the New Living Translation. Again, the Holy Spirit guided me to these and wanted me to emphasize these scriptures. Dear brothers and sisters, pattern your lives after mine and learn from those who follow our example. For I've told you often before, and I say it again with tears in my eyes, that there are many whose conduct shows that they are really enemies of the cross of Christ. Philippians three, New Living Translation. They are headed for destruction. Their God is their appetite. They bring about shameful things and they think only about this life here on earth. But we are citizens of heaven where the Lord Jesus Christ lives and we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our savior. Philippians three, twenty-one, New Living Translation. He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his. Using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control. Let's have a moment of reflection. Who or what is leading you? Who or what is leading you? Is it God's light of wisdom or the devil's deceptive darkness that will guide you? Now, this is a prophetic word that I received today from the Lord, and he wanted me to give it to you just as I received it. And I apologize. It's always difficult for me as I bring And you can tell we are live and for some reason I got a coughing spasm, but I want to give you this word. Turn from your abhorrent sin and I will spare you. If you do not, I will use swift justice to destroy the arrogant tongues that rise up against my people. I guess it's fitting that I had a coughing spasm and have tears in my eyes now. So let me go back and read that again. Thus saith the Lord thy God, Turn from your horrid sin, and I will spare you. If you do not, I will use swift justice to destroy the arrogant tongues that rise up against my people. It is time for us to spread the gospel of truth to all those who need it. It is that time for us to spread the gospel of truth. Are you going to fulfill your assignment? Are you going to go where God is leading you? Are you going to be a deliverer for your people? For all those that he has called you to witness to? to bring the light and truth of the gospel. I'm not asking you to do anything that I'm not already doing. I think you can figure out I'm pretty real from evidence of the coughing spasm I just had. But I always like to go live and not pre-record these. Well, number one, that's what the Holy Spirit wants me to do because He wants you to see that I'm genuine. I'm not I'm not, you know, this great, I don't even know. It's like, you're not to worship me. You're to worship Jesus. This is only about you seeing him and not me. I'm not some big celebrity that, you know, I want you to see me. It's important that you see the scriptures. It's important that you learn the truth, that you eat of this spiritual food so that you never hunger or thirst again. And it's important to me because he's coming back for his bride and we have to be ready. And we need to have this urgency to bring as many of our brothers and sisters with us. We need to get as many people into the kingdom of God. And we need to pull them out of the devil's camp and bring them into our camp as believers. This is not a time of division. This is a time of unity within the body. This is a time that the world is already dark. We don't need to be fighting amongst ourselves. We need to unite and spread love and truth and help our fellow brother and sister to get through the day. That's what we need to do. Hunger and thirst for righteousness. And you'll be filled. And I think that's the message that he has for you today. Is to look inward. I've had to do that. I've done a lot of soul searching. And really ensuring that I have a pure heart. I will tell you that I isolate. I don't watch television. I rarely listen to anything other than some gospel or worship music. I stay pretty isolated. I'm very careful about who I'm around because he keeps me isolated on ten acres of land. And a lot of times I'm out in the pasture with my cows and the other animals that we have. And I sold everything to follow Jesus because I had an encounter with him. And he took the icky away. He replaced my garment of icky, of shame, of guilt, of fear and regret and self-loathing. And he took it off of me and the weight of it. And he put on me a robe of righteousness and took away the filthy rags and made me a new creature. And I no longer have addictions and cope through, you know, cope with trauma and all that through food or alcohol or anything. I've lived this, like Paul said, and all I do is obey him. And if he tells me to go after the one, I go after the one because we have to. How can you not obey someone that gave you life? I was dead. I had everything. You know, I was making a lot of money. You know, I was a nurse for almost about twenty eight years in the emergency department and then a sexual assault nurse examiner after that. And, you know, published author, all those things, married to an amazing man. But I was dead inside, had a sailboat, was sailing everywhere. But I had so much fear that I was gripped, paralyzed. unable to see my way through. And it was only when my compass started pointing north to Lord Jesus, Abba Father, that I was set free and redeemed. And how can I not bring that to each of you? How can I not try to spread this whole message around the world? Because there's freedom in it. I'm a living example of hope. Wow. And imagine if that couldn't have happened and I didn't know. I didn't know about the gospel. I didn't have people pouring into me and have the Holy Spirit. So I'm grateful. I'm grateful. And I want you to know it too. Addiction's not your portion. Depression's not your portion. Cancer's not your portion. None of those things are. Christ died so we could have abundant life. By his stripes, you were healed. That's why we have to take the good news to everyone so they know the truth because his people perish for lack of knowledge. We don't want them to perish anymore. We don't want them to perish any more. It's time for you to know the truth and the truth to set you free. It's time. And I thank you so much for tuning into the message that he has for you today and for being with me through my coughing spasm and losing my voice. And I just want to thank you. Thank you for listening. Thank you for sharing this video, for liking, subscribing. Thank you for those that are sowing seeds into our ministry. None of us have a salary and everything that comes in, we give out and help those in need, or it allows me to go and go after the ones, even if the ninety-nine are safe. I live in a little tiny house, five hundred and seventy six square feet. And that includes the front porch. Sold everything I own to follow Jesus. And I'm just all about the father's work. And there is a flame that is lit inside of me that burns so deeply for his people to get the word of truth out to them. To spread the hope and to unify the body of Christ. Join our mission. Help us to be the light of truth in a dark world. I'm Tammy Toney-Butler of Reflective Spaces Ministry. God bless you and keep you. Abba Father, go with them this day. Strengthen them, O Father God. Guide them into all truth. Let this word permeate every ounce of their being. And that they know the truth and they're set free. That they've had a conviction in their spirit. And that they're going to repent and turn away from the old ways and go towards the new. For the freedom lies in being transformed in the light of Christ. Having the heart and mind of Christ. Father, give them wisdom. Give them understanding. Let them know this is the way, walk in it. This is the way walking. Father, bring laborers into the field to go and spread the gospel of truth all around the world so that we can usher in that great awakening, that revival in the hearts of your people.
