Hello, welcome to today's teaching and message on Agape Love Heals. I'm Tammy Toney-Butler, and this is on behalf of Reflective Spaces Ministry. Thank you so much for tuning in, for liking, subscribing, and sharing, for subscribing to our YouTube channel, and also checking out Reflective Hour with Tammy Toney-Butler on YouTube. So today, God has placed on my heart about agape love. And this morning I was gazing at the lake and I'm just going to read to you the word that the Holy Spirit just downloaded to me. And it really resonated in my heart. And as I'm reading it, I just want the Holy Spirit just to come. Holy Spirit, just come and have your way in this time that we have together. Let them see you and not me. Let them experience your presence, your healing presence, Holy Spirit. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. Oh, thank you. I need him during this time because this is all about him. I don't want you to see me. I'm not the one that heals. He is. As I gaze at the lake, I see steam coming from the water, creating a foggy landscape. How many of you are in a spiritual fog? Not sure which way to turn, how to get set free from the chains of addiction, depression, tormenting thoughts, chronic illness, chronic pain, and more. What does the word of God say? about your spiritual condition can it be cured is there hope can I be set free the love of jesus heals all wounds breaks every addiction and cures every illness or disease the word of god never fails and the love of god is so evident throughout the word of god scripture guides us into all truth Do you want to be guided this afternoon by tuning into this message on the agape love of Jesus, the healing abundant love of Jesus? Let's explore in today's episode the roots of pain, illness, torment, defeat, despair, hopelessness, and gain tools to break every curse heal every wound bind every lie and step into abundant life dressed in the love of jesus wow what an opening and that started me on searches through scripture and just seeking to obey Father, because I'm not sure who this message is for, the timing of this message, but I always obey and go forth to deliver his word and his truth at his appointed time. When we look at agape, the Greek word for love, then we realize that it talks about kindness, being selfless, a willful delight, sacrificing for others. Agape love is a choice to act in the best interest of others. Characteristics of agape love are extending grace. We know extended grace. We know Jesus is the ultimate example of love in action. And Father, Abba Father sent Lord Jesus to die on the cross so that we can live and have abundant life. By his stripes, ye were healed. He took sickness, premature death, all of it. and nailed it to the cross. It's not ours to bear. We get to have abundant life in Christ Jesus. So we need to get enough word in us that it penetrates bone and marrow. And we truly believe what the word of God says, that we truly walk in an abundant life because healing is our portion. Cancer is not. Freedom is our portion. Addiction is not. Many of you couldn't help what happened to you as a child. You would have obviously not chosen that path if you'd been given a choice. But adversity came to your door like it did mine as a survivor of child sex trafficking and losing my father to suicide. We buried him on Father's Day when I was a teenager. Many of you have faced trial after trial after trial. Bad things have happened to you. And I'm sorry for that. I apologize on their behalf. God sees you. He sees you where you are now. He knows your struggles. He's there with you in that pit. Reach for him. He'll see you through. He'll get you out. He's placed on my heart today to read scriptures on healing, on his truth, make declarations, and show you his love. He's with us now. This is an anointed word of healing, hope, restoration, redemption. We bind every spirit of fear and cast it into the pit of hell. We break off every tormenting spirit, every lie ever spoken over you, every curse. For today is a day of freedom, a day to be set free from those things that have bound you, kept you from walking in your full potential and all that God has called for you to be and purposed you to be. There's no greater example of love than Christ Jesus, His work on the cross. Every nail print, imprint, every scar, every stripe He bore on His body. And as He was hung on a wooden cross, His blood shed to wash us clean. That's love. We as followers of Christ are to show that love to others regardless of their past, of what they're doing now, how they're living now. We aren't to judge. We're to show them the healing love that Jesus offers. One moment in his presence changes everything. I was one way and then I was another. And what happened in between was Jesus, was Jesus. I'm here to tell you there's hope, there's healing, there's strength, and there's overcoming. All of that is your portion. So let's make some declarations. Let's look at some prayer points. And you may want to go back to this message and play it over and over until it penetrates and sinks in with you. I'll be reading as the Holy Spirit directs because this is all his doing. I'm just here, merely a messenger sent to deliver a message. Oh, Holy Spirit, have your way. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Oh, Abba, Father. the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our precious Lord Jesus. All that we declare and decree now is in the name of Lord Jesus. Your word goes forth and prospers and it never returns void. Let's read now. Prayer points. Philippians four, thirteen. King James Version. I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me. Lord Jesus, I entrust my work to you this day. I know my plans will succeed. I can do everything you ask me to do with your help, Christ. You give me strength and power. Proverbs sixteen three. King James Version. Commit thy works unto the Lord and thy thoughts shall be established. Prayer point number two, Lord Jesus, I entrust my work to you this day. I know my plans will succeed. I can do everything you ask me to do with your help. Christ, you give me strength and power and abundant life. You give me healing. Malachi four, two King James version. But unto you that fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings. And ye shall go forth and grow up as calves of the stall. See that? That's a promise. Healing in his wings. Healing is your portion. Lord Jesus, today, because I reference your name, your goodness shines on me like the sun with healing in its rays. By your stripes ye were healed. Psalms one oh three, Psalm one oh three, two to four, King James Version. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. Who forgiveth all thine inequities, who healeth all thy diseases, who redeemeth thy life from destruction, who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies. That's another promise. Grab hold of it. Bless the Lord, O my soul, forget not all his benefits, who forgiveth all thine inequities and who healeth all thy diseases. See that? He healeth all thy diseases. Prayer point number four. Father, I praise you and never forget how kind you are to me. You sent your son, Lord Jesus, to die on the cross for me. I reverence your holy name. You forgive all my sins, heal all my sicknesses. You save me from the grave. You surround me with loving kindness and tender mercies. I give myself completely to you as a living person who has been raised from the dead. I offer myself as a tool in your hands for your good purposes. I plead the blood of Jesus over myself and my family. I cover my body, mind, emotions, and spirit with the blood of Jesus. I plead the blood of Jesus against physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual abuse. I plead the blood of Jesus against any diseases, viruses, or illnesses that would try to overtake me. I release Jesus Christ healing, virtue into my body and yours and pray against every root of attack on my body. and yours, my finances, my ministry, and my business. Jehovah Rapha healed me and keeps me in perfect health all the days of my life with his work on the cross for me. I plead the blood of Jesus against calamities, catastrophes, and any hidden dangers that would try to come against me or my family. Through the blood of Jesus, I've been redeemed out of the hands of the devil. Satan, you have no authority in my life, my finances, my ministry, my family, my businesses, my health, or my mind. Get behind me, Satan. That's what you say. Every time a tormenting thought tries to enter your mind that says, that chemo didn't work, That radiation treatment didn't work. You've been healed. You've been set free. Walk in the promises of God's word. There is no fear in perfect love. There's power love in a sound mind. Let him guide you into all truth this day. As you seek out his healing for your life, believing that you have been healed and set free from chronic pain, from chronic fatigue, from Hodgkin's lymphoma, from a rare blood disorder that's been impacting your health for years. Jesus is healing you now. Healing is your portion. Your right knee has been giving you a problem. Christ is healing it now. He's healing it now. And yes, it's okay to go to rehab. It's okay to go to rehab. It's okay to get help. God brought us the miracle of medicine. We get to access it and use it. Know that you know that you know that you've been healed. Keep saying it over and over. I know. The devil tries to come in with that tormenting thought. Don't allow it. You say to him, it is written. You pull out these scriptures. You play this on repeat if you need to. By his stripes, you were healed. Let's look at more. Now we need to go into Deuteronomy twenty eight. In Deuteronomy twenty eight, the King James Version. And it's talking about curses and many things that are now not our portion because Jesus died to set us free from the curse of the law. But for those that don't know Jesus, that have never acknowledged him as the son of God, and that he rose again, and that his blood on Calvary transforms us and heals us, and those that haven't invited the Holy Spirit to come live inside them and make them fresh and new and transformed, then they can be under The curse of the law. Because they don't know Jesus. But what's our job? Is to teach them Jesus. Those of us that know Jesus, we've been redeemed. Cancer's not our portion. Christ came to give us abundant life. There's no way to the Father but through Lord Jesus and his death on the cross. His work on the cross. You acknowledge that. You've been set free and are no longer under the curse of the law. And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord by God, to observe and do all his commandments. which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come on thee and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God. Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. Blessed shalt be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kind, and the flocks of thy sheep. Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out. The Lord shall cause thy enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face. They shall come against thee one way and flee before thee seven ways. The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thy hand unto. And he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. The Lord shall establish thee a holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God and walk in his ways. And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of thee. And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in goods in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the Lord swear unto thy fathers to give thee. The Lord shall open upon thee as good treasure the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thy hand. And thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow, We rebuke that spirit of lack. And the Lord shall make thee the head and not the tail. And thou shalt be above only and thou shalt not be beneath. If that thou hearken unto the commandments of Lord thy God, which I command thee this day to observe and do them. And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day to the right hand or to the left to go after other gods to serve them. We can only serve Abba Father. the God of our precious Lord Jesus. There is no other God. But it shall come to pass if thou will not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day, that all these curses shall come upon thee and overtake thee. Cursed shalt thou be in the city and cursed shalt thou be in the field. Cursed shalt thou be thy basket and thy store. Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kind and the flocks of thy sheep. Cursed shall thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shall thou be when thou goest out. The Lord shall send upon thee cursing vexation and the rebuke in all that thou settest thy hand unto to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me. The Lord shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee until he hath consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it. The Lord shall smite thee with a consumption and with a fever and with an inflammation and with an extreme burning and with a sword and with blasting with mildew and they shall pursue thee until they'll perish. This is if they did not hearken and obey the Lord. And thy heathen that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron. The Lord shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust, from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed. The Lord shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies, that shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them, and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth. And thy carcass shall be kneaded into all fowls of the air, and into the beasts of the earth, and no man shall fray them away. The Lord will smite thee with the botch of Egypt and with the emeralds and with the scab and with the itch where thou canst not be healed. The Lord shall smite thee with madness and blindness and astonishment of heart. And thou shalt grope at noonday as the blind grope at the darkness. And thou shalt not prosper in thy ways. And thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee. Praise God, those of us that are believers are not under these curses. We've been set free by the work of Jesus on the cross. Curse is not our portion. Sickness is not our portion. Jesus died so we can live an abundant life. Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her. Thou shalt build a house, and thou shalt not dwell therein. Thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof. Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof. Thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee. Thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them. Praise God we have. a rescuer, a deliverer in Christ Jesus with his finished work on the cross. Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look and fail with longing for them all the day long, and there shall be no might in thy hand. And the fruit of thy land and thy labor shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up, and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed away. so that thou shalt be mad for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see the lord shall smite thee in the knees and in the legs with a sore box that cannot be healed from the sore of thy foot into the top of thy head praise god though we're not under that anymore we're healed as believers knowing that jesus is the son of god and that he died on the cross and that he bore every stripe every sickness The Lord shall bring thee and thy king, which thou shalt set over thee into a nation, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone. And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb and a byword among all nations, whither the Lord shall lead thee. Thou shalt carry much seed out into the field and thou shalt gather but little in for the locust shall consume it. But what do we get? We get restored as believers. Everything, the locust, the canker worm, the pommel worm store, stolen, devoured, we get back. under the promises of Jesus, under the promises of the work of the cross. Thou shalt plant vineyards and dress them, but shalt neither drink of the wine nor gather the grapes, for the worms shall eat them. Thou shalt have olive trees throughout all thy coasts, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil, for thine olive shall cast his fruit. Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them, for they shall go into captivity. They lived in captivity under sin and the hold it had. But Christ Jesus died so we could live an abundant life. We're not under the curse of the law, under the bondages of the sin. All thy trees and fruit of thy land shall the locusts consume. The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high and thou shalt come down very low. He shall lend to thee and thou shalt not lend to him. He shall be the head and thou shalt be the tail. But remember, as Christ followers, and as long as we obey and surrender to Lord Jesus to be Lord and Savior of your life, we get an abundant life. We're above and not beneath. the head and not the tail. Moreover, all these curses shall come upon thee and shall pursue thee and overtake thee till thou be destroyed, because thou hearkest not unto the voice of the Lord thy God to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee. And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder and upon the sea forever, because thou service not the Lord thy God with joyfulness and with gladness of heart for the abundance of all things." Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies, which the Lord shall send against thee in hunger and in thirst and in nakedness and in the one of all things. And he shall put a yoke of iron upon my neck until he hath destroyed thee. That was what the old law was about. But Jesus came to break the yoke of bondage off of us so that we are set free. And he who has been set free is free indeed. The Lord shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flyeth, a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand, a nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favor to the young. And he shall eat the fruit of thy cattle and the fruit of thy land until thou be destroyed, which also shall not leave thee either corn, wine, or oil, or the increase of thy kind, or flocks of thy sheep, until he hath destroyed thee. And he shall besiege thee in all the gates until thy high and fixed walls come down, wherein thou trustest throughout all thy land. And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which the Lord thy God hath given thee. And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the Lord thy God hath given thee in the siege and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee." So that the man that is tender among you and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother and toward the wife of his bosom and toward the remnant of his children, which he shall leave. So that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom he shall eat, because he hath nothing left him in the siege and in the straightness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee in all thy gates. The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward this husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter, and toward her young one that cometh out from between her feet, and toward her children, which she shall bear. For she shall eat them for one of all things secretly in the siege, and straighten as wherein thine enemies shall distress thee in thy gates." Wow, when you read this stuff, you are so grateful for the love of Jesus, the agape love, his selfless sacrifice on the cross, what he did to set us all free. How can we not scream to the rooftops how much we love Jesus and surrender to him when we read this stuff, realizing that sickness is not our portion. Death is not our portion. This stuff is not our portion. Praise God for the work of the cross. If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, the Lord thy God, then the Lord will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed even great plagues, and of a long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and a long continuance. Moreover, he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of, and they shall cleave unto thee. and also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the Lord bring upon thee until they be destroyed. And you shall be left few in number, whereas you were as the stars of heaven for multitude, because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the Lord thy God. And the Lord shall scatter thee among all people from the one end of the earth Even unto the other, and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor their fathers have known, even wooden stone. And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest. But the Lord shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind. And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee, and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life. In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even? And at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning? For the fear of thine heart thou shalt fear, for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see. And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships by the way whereof I spake unto thee. Thou shalt see it no more again. And now there you shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen and no man shall buy you. That is some heavy duty reading. And I didn't want to read all that to you. But when you realize that you're not under the curse of the law because of the work Jesus did on the cross, it truly makes you appreciate it and lets you realize that we're not under that stuff. Sickness is not our portion. The Bible says all sickness and disease is the curse of the law. And it also says that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law in Galatians three, thirteen. So let's focus on the healing of the cross, the hope, restoration, peace. Galatians three, thirteen, the King James version. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of a law being made a curse for us, for it is written cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree. That's why Jesus was nailed to a wood cross. That's why he was. So that we wouldn't be under the curse of the law. First Peter two, twenty four, King James Version, who his own self bear our sins in his own body on the tree that we being dead to sins should live unto righteousness by whose stripes ye were healed. Ye were healed. Were is past tense. You've been healed over two thousand years ago by Jesus's stripes. You just need to believe it in your heart and never back down from it. Begin to praise God for your healing and say that you are healed because the word of God says you are. Mark five, thirty four, King James Version. And he said to her daughter, thy faith have made thee whole. Go in peace and be whole of thy play. And be whole of thy play. Wholeness is possible. Wholeness is because of the agape love of Jesus and what he did on the cross for us, for sinners, for a sinner like me. Mark eleven, twenty-three to twenty-four, King James Version. For verily I say unto you, that whoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass. He shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. believe that you receive them and you shall have them it says it right here in his word this is a promise sickness is not your portion premature death is not your portion addiction is not your portion chronic fatigue is not your portion we rebuke those spirits of firm re and cast them into the pit of hell never to return again you have been set free by jesus Set free by Jesus. You have to believe it. And you have to keep reciting the scripture over and over every day. And every time the devil tries to come in with a tormenting thought, you say, no, it is written in Mark eleven, twenty three and twenty four. It is written in Mark five, thirty four. It is written. It is written. It is written. James five, fourteen to sixteen. King James Version. Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith shall save the sick and the Lord shall raise him up. And if he hath committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another and pray one for another that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. availeth much let's look at psalm ninety one king james version he that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty I will say the lord he is my refuge in my fortress my god in him will I trust surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust. His truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid of the terror by night, nor the arrow that flyeth by day, nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness, nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand, but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eye shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most high thy habitation. There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. It's not our portion. For he shall give his angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder. The young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he has set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him. I will set him on high because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me and I'll answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and shew him my salvation. Sickness is not our portion. Premature death is not our portion. And I rebuke it in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. I rebuke it in the name of Jesus. The Lord took me to Luke out of the New Living Translation. And I just want to read and point out that Jesus felt it important to read from the scroll of Isaiah, the prophet. And these are the words that he read. So I'm just going to read this part. Jesus rejected at Nathers. We're starting around Luke four, I don't know how far I'm going to read. Let's see. Then Jesus returned to Galilee filled with the Holy Spirit's power, reports about and spread quickly through the whole region. He taught regularly in their synagogues and was praised by everyone. When he came to the village of Nazareth, his boyhood home, he went as usual to the synagogue on the Sabbath and stood up to read the scriptures. So think about this. Jesus stood up to read the scriptures and he chose to read from Isaiah. The scroll of Isaiah, the prophet, was handed to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where this was written. And he did this so that the scriptures would be fulfilled. So that the prophecies would be fulfilled. The spirit of the Lord is upon me. For he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released. That the blind will see. that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord's favor has come. That's what Jesus did for us when Isaiah prophesied it. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, and that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord's favor has come. That's Jesus. That's the agape love. He rolled up the scroll, handed it back to the attendant and sat down. All eyes in the synagogue looked at him attentively. Then he began to speak to them. The scripture you just heard has been fulfilled this very day. Hmm. Isn't that amazing? Isn't that amazing? Wow. Hmm. Then it goes on and it talks about Jesus casting out a demon. Jesus heals many, many people. It talks about it. It says here that Jesus continued to preach in in forty to four forty two. It says early the next morning, Jesus went out to an isolated place. The crowd searched everywhere for him. And when they finally filled him, they begged him not to leave them. But he replied, I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God in other towns, too, because that is why I was sent. And before that, it says, as the sun went down that evening, people throughout the village brought sick family members to Jesus. No matter what their diseases were, the touch of his hand healed everyone. Many were possessed by demons and the demons came out at his command, shouting, you are the son of God. But because they knew he was the Messiah, he rebuked them, refused to let them speak. Then we look at here, Jesus heals a man with leprosy. And this is in Luke five. In one of the villages, Jesus met a man with an advanced case of leprosy. An advanced case. Sounds pretty terminal to me. When the man saw Jesus, he bowed with his face to the ground, begging to be healed. Lord, he said, if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean. Jesus reached out and touched him. I am willing. He said, be healed. And instantly the leprosy disappeared. Instantly. He's willing. Jesus came to set you free so you would have abundant life. He healed while he walked the earth. He was so compassionate. Look at the woman at the well. Look at the woman with the issue of blood. Look how he has transformed my life. and took the icky away, the shame, the guilt, the fear, the regret, the coping through various addictions with the horrible aftermath of childhood trauma. We get to have abundant life. I refuse to partner with sickness. If I start feeling a cold come on, I rebuke it. I say, oh no, sickness is not my portion. By his stripes you were healed. And I start reciting scripture. I start reciting scripture. Now, my husband will go on to be sick for a week, but I won't. I refuse to partner with it. I won't let sickness come to my door. I refuse to be sick. I refuse to have illness. And that doesn't mean that I go out and purposely do things to destroy my body. Jesus made it very clear, the Holy Spirit, and spoke to me. And I rebuked that spirit of gluttony. And I had a food addiction that he broke off of me, and I don't have it anymore. As I healed from the trauma, I healed from that. If I had continued in disobedience and in rebellion to the word of God, because we aren't to test the Lord, and I'll show you that in Scripture. If I had continued that way, then I would have not walked in fullness and abundant life because... I was sinning against my body I was putting things in my body that were harmful and I I've lost uh over seventy pounds and I've I've just been you know eating just this you know healthy diet and surely uh working on my on the temple you know his body um because we are uh you know bearers of of christ he's the head and we're the body so we're his temple and And I need to be everything that I can be so that I can get Jesus where he needs to go so that many people can be redeemed and set free and healed. So when we start really looking at that and realizing that we get to have abundant life and it's through his compassion and mercy that That he transforms us, but we have to ask him, we have to partner with him. And when he whispers to us and tells us something, we need to obey and do it. And I know there was controversy around COVID vaccines and those things. And, you know, those of you who know me know I was an ER nurse for almost thirty years and a sexual assault nurse examiner. I'm retired from that stuff now. And, you know, I'm focused on prophetic healing evangelist work and the mandate, the call that God has placed on my life to to let individuals know what trauma does. Um, but I, the Holy spirit whispered to me and I got the COVID vaccine. I didn't get the booster cause he didn't want me to, but I got the vaccine. So as we're in relationship with him, he empowers us with, with choices and, and, and, you know, with, with a voice and, and, you know, that's what, um, love, uh, does for us, you know, love, uh, gives us the ability to listen. And so I look at the L in love as we listen. We actively listen. We observe. We give others a voice. And the E, we empower others. And that's part of love. That love. And what's the greatest commandment? When Jesus came, love God with all thy heart. With all thy soul, lean not on thine own understanding and love thy neighbor as thyself. And when we love like that and we have a heart transformation and Jesus comes to dwell in our heart, then we don't want to sin. It grieves the Holy Spirit and it affects us and we get that conviction in our spirit and it causes us to have a transformed life. And we walk in faith and walk by faith and not by sight. We don't do this in our own strength. We have to do it in the strength of Jesus. God's power and strength, not our own. There was something I was going to read in here. Let's see, I read that. So he healed the man with leprosy. And it goes on just to really talk about and I love Luke six. So we're, when we get into Luke six, it talks about how the crowds follow Jesus. When they come down from the mountain, the disciples stood with Jesus on a large level area surrounded by media of his followers and by the crowds. There were people from all over Judea and from Jerusalem and from as far north of the seacoast of Turin, Sedona. They had come to hear him and be healed of their diseases and those troubled by evil spirits were healed everyone tried to touch him because healing power went out from him and he healed every one he healed everyone that came to him you're not too dirty you're not too full of shame and there are things when you look at the scriptures I read in mark That. Eleven. What was it? Twenty. Two to twenty five. Or. Yes. There's. I think scripture twenty five. You can't stand with unforgiveness in your heart. Because that's. And bitterness that eats at you like a cancer and it can metastasize and it can destroy you. And it can block your healing from the healing from getting in. So if we hold bitterness for anyone, resentment, unforgiveness, when we need to let that go, because all it does is destroy us. And it doesn't change those that abused us, those that manipulated and controlled us. You don't have to forget. And I will tell you that I've walked pretty far on my healing journey with the Lord. And I have come to a place of where I've forgotten those things. They just don't have any power over me anymore as I've spiritually matured and moved from the milk of the word to the meat. But I had to forgive. I had to forgive my mother. I had to forgive so many people. all those that forcibly sexually assaulted me as a child, I had to forgive. Because I wasn't going to get it from them. There are some questions you're never going to have an answer to. And I was never going to hear the words, I'm sorry, or those things, nor did I even want it from them, nor did I have any contact with them afterwards. But it's in forgiving. That agape love really manifests itself. Can you forgive those who stone you like Stephen did? Those that persecute you? Those that nail you to a cross like Jesus did? Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do. Can you do that? Because when we have that kind of love in us, the love of Jesus, we transform cities. We transform nations. We transform a world. That's some love right there. Now, I believe that that's what he wanted me to say. I do, though, I think I want to read the Beatitudes. And this is Luke six, starting with twenty. Then Jesus turned to his disciples and said, God blesses you who are poor for the kingdom of God is yours. God blesses you who are hungry now for you will be satisfied. God blesses you who are weak now for in due time you will laugh. Wow. That's powerful. That's powerful. Many of you have been in seasons to where you've sowed tears. You're going to reap in joy now. You're going to reap in joy. You know now The healing's your portion. I just proved it to you with all that scripture. I showed you that dreaded curse of the law, my goodness, in Deuteronomy. Praise God we're not under that anymore. The Lord's placed on me two more things, I think, two more things. We'll see. I want to give you these in the order in which he gave them. So I'm going to read just quickly out of Kenneth E. Hagen's book, Healing Belongs to Us. You can go to REMA Bible College, REMA, R-H-E-M-A, REMA Bible College, and you can get copies and learn how to purchase these books. They're magnificent. And this healing belongs to us, Kenneth E. Hagen. And the Lord wanted me to go to page fifty four. And. It starts with chapter four, our healing and accomplished fact. And it talks about an elderly woman in World War II and how air sirens were going off and bombs were being dropped. It talks about how she, it says here that, oh, well, let me just read it. It says, after several nights, someone commented that this elderly woman was missing from the bomb shelter, from the air raid shelters, it says here. Some speculated that she had been injured and was in the hospital. And other neighbors wondered if she had been killed. So others thought she had gone away to the country to escape the bombs. And a few days later, one of her neighbors met her on the street during the daytime and said, well, we certainly are glad to see you back and to know that you're all right. Oh, I haven't been anywhere, she said. But you haven't joined us in the air raid shelter every night. Where have you been? Her neighbor asked. I was home sleeping, was her calm reply. How many of you can sleep in the middle of your storm and rest on the pillow of fate? That's what I do. I rest on the pillow of faith. I'm not going to partner with fear, sin, sickness, none of that stuff. I'm not going to do it. I said sin. I mean, it's hard to walk in this world. I repent most daily, most every day and ask the Lord to forgive me of hidden sins, you know, invisible sins. But sickness isn't my portion. Premature death is not my portion. It's not yours either. And it goes on to say, sleeping. He asked astonished, how could you sleep through all this? Aren't you frightened? No, because we don't have a spirit of fear. We have power, love, and a sound mind. That's what God's word said. No, she replied, when I was reading my Bible the other day, I found where it says that God neither sleeps nor, I'm sorry, neither slumbers nor sleeps. Psalm one, twenty one, four. So I decided there's no need for both of us to stay awake. isn't that funny isn't that powerful and it's true get your sleep get your rest surrender it to lord jesus abba father to the omnipresent god that's everywhere let him carry the burden it's not ours to carry get some rest he neither sleeps nor summer so why are you staying awake It says, likewise, if Jesus has borne our sickness and Isaiah fifty three four says he has, there is no need for us to bear it, too. When we look up the word translated born in this text, we find that in the original Hebrew it meant to lift up, to bear away, to convey or to remove to a distance. Jesus bore it all on the cross. We don't have to carry it. We don't have to carry it. We don't. to carry it. Jesus did it. So I encourage you to pick up Healing Belongs to Us by Kenneth E. Hagen. And he has a healing series that's powerful for you to purchase. And then Keys to Scriptural Healing by Kenneth E. Hagen. Keys to Scriptural Healing by Kenneth E. Hagen. I don't know why. I don't question. I just obey. The Lord wanted me to, the Holy Spirit wanted me to read page thirty-three. And to look at page thirty three. And it starts by saying, well, the section is entitled roadblocks to healing. So it's talking about a roadblock. And remember, unforgiveness, holding bitterness, hate in our heart can be a roadblock to us being healed. God is glorified through healing and deliverance, not through sickness and suffering. Let me say it again. God is glorified through healing and deliverance, not through sickness and suffering. Sickness and suffering are a work of the devil. That is not our portion. Christ came to give us abundant life as evidenced by how he walked and when he gave the apostles power, how they walked by the Holy Spirit. They went about healing many who were afflicted and casting out devils, evil spirits. We get to grasp that and get to have that as the church. But are we doing it? Are we walking in believers' authority? Are we partnering up with the lies that Satan has spoken over us and the world? Refuse to do it. Say, oh no, I know what scripture says. And the Bible is living. It's breathing. It's alive. It's sharper than a two-edged sword. I don't want to partner with that Deuteronomy, you know, that, that curse stuff. So either I'm going to believe that Jesus came to give me abundant life and set me free and that he's the son of God or that other stuff. I, I want abundant life. I want Jesus. I choose Jesus. so roadblock number seven sickness is god's chastening it is true that the bible says for whom the lord loveth he chasteneth hebrews twelve six however it does not say whom the lord loveth he maketh sick because we aren't under the curse of the law any longer it is a mistake to take one small portion of scripture and try to prove something there is no reference to sickness in this text There is no implication of sickness or disease in the word chasteneth in the original Greek. And that was keys to scriptural healing, Kenneth E. Hagen. And this section was roadblocks to healing. And yeah. And I believe that is what he has for you today. Let me just pray. Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, have your way in this time we have together. May they see you and not me. May they know your healing truth. May any roadblocks to believing it be removed in the name of Jesus and the power of Jesus. May the yoke of bondage, of sickness, of addiction be broken off of your life. And you find abundant life in Christ Jesus. Healing is your portion. Sickness is not. Just rest in his presence, in his healing presence right now. Resting in the promises of his word, in his truth, knowing that you've been set free and healed and delivered. Don't accept that terminal diagnosis. Your life is a miracle. You've been healed and set free in the name of Jesus. You just have to believe it and walk in it. You have to believe it. Never turn back from it. Never.
