The unfairness of it all. Life is not always fair. Many of us who've been victimized as children realize this daily. The could have beens, the should have beens, consume us and threaten to overtake us. Fighting the good fight of faith is a daily struggle for the believer whom has overcome trauma, adversity, The battle to hold on to your new self, your newly created self is waged daily. You are under constant attack spiritually to hold on to joy, peace, love, and not step backwards into despair, bitterness, unforgiveness, and all those things that broke you. How do you overcome the death of a loved one as a trauma survivor? the pain, the grief as wave after wave hits and threatens to sink your boat. Your boat, your new life still has ways to go before it's ready for deeper waters or so you believe. I am here to tell you, you are wrong. You are stronger than you think. Tough and your boat is sufficient for the storm you face now. Your boat, your new life has been built on the rock, which is Jesus. And it will not sink. It will not take on too much water and you will not drown. You will not drown in your misery. You will not drown. You are an overcomer. And victory is ours. It's yours. It's on the other side of this battle. You're so close to the promised land. Breakthrough is yours. You are finally here. You are breaking into all God has called you to be. So you speak to your old self and you fight the good fight of faith. And you say, I will not go back. I won't go back to the dark. will stay in the light. I will stay grounded in today. I will walk through the pain. I will walk through the valley of the shadow of death and I will fear no evil for thou art with me and thy rod and thy staff comfort me. Jesus is with me. I fight my way past the grief, past the loss, past the pain and I get back in my boat And you get back in your boat and we row to the other side, the other side of this storm. We row in the darkness. We row in the sadness. We row in the fatigue. We row in the pain. We row in the grief. We row in the sorrow. We row in the hopelessness. We row in the powerlessness. We row, we row, we row. We refuse to quit. We refuse to stop. We've come too far. We've come too far to let something like this derail us. You'll reach the other side. Don't stop. Breakthrough is imminent. Delivery of the promise God has spoken over your life is imminent. Embrace the darkness. Know that God is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. This storm did not blow in to take you out. It didn't blow in to take me out. It blew in to show me how strong I am, how much I've changed in him, overcome in him. His strength carries me. His strength sustains me. Jesus is in my boat. Nothing will sink it. Nothing will stop me from his ordained purpose for my life. A storm may come. A phone call may come. Bad news may come, but I'm ready. God is with me. I fight from a place of victory instead of defeat. His word says we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. It's in his strength. that we overcome. It's not in ours. It's not in ours. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future. Anchor yourself in Jeremiah, Jeremiah, Jeremiah, Jeremiah, Jeremiah, Jeremiah, Jeremiah, Jeremiah, Jeremiah, Jeremiah, Jeremiah, I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows. He leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid for he is close beside me. His rod and staff comforts me. It protects me. He prepares a table for me in the presence of my enemies. He's with me. He's with me. He's with me. I anchor myself in the steadfast word of God and the promises found in the scriptures. And I fight my way to the light, to stay in the light. Nothing will sink my boat because Jesus is with me in the storms of life. They will not stop you from achieving all that God has for you. So you fight your way past the grief. You fight your way past the depression. You fight your way past the sorrow. You fight your way past the addiction. You fight. You're an overcomer. Poverty is not your portion. Sickness is not your portion. Infirmary is not your portion. Abundant life is your portion. Entering into all God has called you to be is your portion. So you fight the battle that wages in your mind, that tries to take you back and derail how far you've come. But no, victory is yours. You're an overcomer. You have achieved everything. God has already ordained for you to have. You just need to see it. You need to believe it. You need to walk in it. You need to trust God. You need to trust God. You need to trust God. You need to trust God. There's no storm you face that he won't take you through. He's with you. He's with you. He is with you.
