About Tammy Toney-Butler: https://www.reflectivespacesministry.com/about

Hello, I am Tammy Toney-Butler. I am your host today. We all know who runs this ministry, and that's Christ. The Holy Spirit guides us into all truth. He's our waymaker, our redeemer, our lawgiver, our peacemaker. He's everything to us. Change your heart. Change your world. What do you need to do today so that you resemble Christ, remembering Emmanuel, God in us, God's in us, guiding us to all truth, because of Lord Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. We are to show Christ to the world, a fallen world, a world of sin, darkness, and death. We get to bring them life, abundant life, through our words, our actions, our deeds. We cannot be overwhelmed by circumstances, not the challenges that we face today as humans. We must look to and through a different lens, a lens of truth, having a kingdom perspective. We are bearers of the kingdom of light. on earth as it is in heaven. Heaven invades earth through us, through our actions, through our words. The words we speak bring life or they bring death. They bring feast or they bring famine. They bring poverty and lack or they bring abundance. We are to look to the vine of truth to glean our knowledge and our insight so that we can speak with the lips of truth, portraying a kingdom perspective to the world. a world in need of a savior, a world in need of the truth, a world in need of freedom, freedom from chaos, bondage, confusion, freedom from spirits of deception, despair, hopelessness, depression, perversion, and so much more. We're spiritual beings. We are divine carriers. We are the temple of God. Does your life resemble that? Do the words you speak resemble that? Do they bring life? Or do they bring darkness? tune in to us today as we paint the world we want to see, bringing a kingdom perspective through a lens of truth spoken into existence by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his work on the cross. All you need to do To be set free is to know Jesus, to have a relationship. Religion wants you to focus on the law, but a mere sinner can never measure up. Christ came to give us abundant life, to bring us into abundance. He came to set us free with the knowledge of him And in him, we are a royal priesthood, a holy nation guided into all truth by the truth found in the word of God. Whether it's a rhema word, whether it's spoken, a right now word, whether it's through the word of God that's been written for centuries. a divine guide to all those who seek and knock. The door shall be open unto you. But are you seeking? Are you knocking? Are you so busy with the cares of this life that you aren't seeking? You aren't knocking. You aren't getting along with the Lord, communing with him. In the garden of our hearts. For out of our hearts flow rivers of living water. Or they sow discord and hate and division, chaos and confusion. None of those last things are of God. God is a God of order. There's an appointed time for everything. He's a God of peace and joy. The fruits of the Spirit. The fruit in your life that you're bearing gives witness to God. What fruit are you bearing for the kingdom of God? Are you sure that you're following Jesus and not following the world, the dictators of the world, those that are full of deception, deceived by the evil one, those seeking power? seeking to eliminate races of people, seeking to eliminate history, rewrite history through a lens of deception. We have to be very, very careful in this hour as Christians, as followers of Christ, that we aren't succumbing to the deception of the enemy. Remember to look at the fruit. Those who abide in me, they bear good fruit. They can't bear bad fruit. The righteous tree cannot bear bad fruit. Are you looking to a Savior? That's the Lord Jesus Christ. Are you looking to a Savior that man has elevated on a platform? Be very careful in this hour that you are not deceived. How do we know? Where's our guide? Our compass? How do we know? When there's so much confusion about, every time you turn on the news, you look at social media, you get bombarded with the cares of this life, the cares of the world. You're overwhelmed by circumstances, a fallen stock market, loss of wealth, loss of freedom for some. Fear has taken over. But I didn't come to give you a spirit of fear, but a power of love and a sound mind. That's what the Lord God, Lord Jesus says. That's what our God says. I came to give abundant life. I came to set the captives free. I came for the sinners, the lost, not the religious one. who don't think they need a savior. They've made themselves their own God. It's in the surrender, the obedience, the posture of humility that we shine in Christ and he shines in and through us. It's only when we surrender and submit to being led by the Spirit of God that we step into abundant life. We step into a life to where we put the kingdom first and we stop saying, what about me? Instead, we focus on unifying the body of believers as we await the return of our savior. As we await the return of our groom. For we are his bride. He's coming for us. Will you be ready? Who's guiding you? Change your heart. Change your world. Let's look at some resources that the Holy Spirit led me to. One by one by one, I'm going to lay out an argument as to why Christ is the answer, the only answer to your freedom To your salvation. To your eternal life. He is the tree of life. He's the healer. He's the redeemer. Jehovah Rapha. Jehovah Nisi. Everything he is is in his name. Let's look at scripture to guide us. Father led me to Psalms. Actually to Proverbs. Proverbs twelve. And I'm going to be reading out of the New Living Translation, Proverbs twelve. To learn, you must love discipline. It is stupid to hate correction. The Lord approves of those who are good, but he condemns those who plan wickedness. Wickedness never brings stability. but the godly have deep roots. A worthy wife is a crown of her husband, but a disgraceful woman is like cancer in his bones. The plans of the godly are just. The advice of the wicked is treacherous. The words of the wicked are like a murderous ambush, but the words of the godly save lives. The wicked die and disappear, but the family of the godly stands firm. But the family of the godly stands firm. A sensible person wins admiration, but a warped mind is despised. Better to be an ordinary person with a servant than to be self-important but have no food. The godly care for their animals. but the wicked are always cruel. A hard worker has plenty of food, but a person who chases fantasies has no sense. Thieves are jealous of each other's loot, but the godly are well-rooted and bear their own fruit. The wicked are trapped by their own words, but the godly escape such troubles. Wise words bring many benefits and hard work brings rewards. Fools think their own way is right, but the wise listen to others. A fool is quick-tempered, but a wise person stays calm when insulted. An honest witness tells the truth. A false witness tells lies. Some people make cutting remarks, but the words of the wise bring healing. Truthful words stand the test of time, but lies are soon exposed. Deceit fills hearts that are plotting evil. Joy fills hearts that are planning peace. Are you a peacemaker? What do your words reflect? No harm comes to the godly, but the wicked have their fill of trouble. The Lord detests lineless, but he delights in those who tell the truth. The wise don't make a show of their knowledge, but fools broadcast their foolishness. Work hard to become a leader, be lazy and become a slave. Worry weighs a person down, an encouraging word cheers a person up. The godly give good advice to their friends, the wicked lead them astray. Lazy people don't even cook the game they catch, but the diligent make use of everything they find. The way of the godly leads to life. That path does not lead to death. That path does not lead to death. Now, let's read out of the King James Version Life Application Study Bible. Again, Proverbs twelve. Whoso loveth instruction, loveth knowledge, but he that hateth reproof is brutish. A good man obtaineth favor of the Lord. but a man of wicked devices will he condemn. A man shall not be established by wickedness, but the root of the righteous shall not be moved. Doesn't matter what the world's doing. The righteous stand firm and will never be removed off their post. A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband, but she that maketh ashamed is his rottenness in his bones. The thoughts of the righteous are right, but the counsels of the wicked are deceit. The counsels of the wicked are deceit. Who are you listening to? Who are you following? Are they following the true gospel, the gospel of Lord Jesus Christ that heals, that redeems, that restores, that sets us free? There's no condemnation in Christ. The thoughts of the righteous are right, but the counsel of the wicked are deceit. The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood, but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them. They shall be delivered. You will no longer be deceived. You will know the truth and you will walk in it. You will step up and you will step out in this hour. And you will show the world. the true gospel, the gospel of Lord Jesus Christ. The wicked are overthrown and are not, but the house of the righteous shall stand. A man shall be condemned, I'm sorry, a man shall be commended according to his wisdom, but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised. Change your heart, change your world. He that is despised and hath a servant is better than he to honor himself and lacketh bread. A righteous man regarded the life of his beast, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel. He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread. That speaks of work. But he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding. Who are you following? If you seek power, if you seek ego, if you seek achievement in the world, are you following the kingdom of God? The wicked desireth the net of evil men, but the root of the righteous yielded fruit. The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips, but the just shall come out of trouble. A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth, and the recompense of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him. The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise. A fool's wrath is presently known, but a prudent man covereth shame. He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness, but a false witness deceit. There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword, but the tongue of the wise is help. The tongue of the wise is help. The lip of truth shall be established forever. The lip of truth shall be established forever. But a lying tongue is but for a moment. Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil, but to the counselors of peace is joy. There shall no evil happen to the just, but the wicked shall be filled with mischief. Lying lips are abomination to the Lord, but they that deal truly are his delight. A prudent man concealeth knowledge, but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness. The hand of the diligent shall bear rule, but the slothful shall be under tribute. Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop. That spirit of worry, that spirit of heaviness. It often comes from a root of bitterness, hate, unforgiveness. Ego, pride, systemic racism, things that are evil that destroy. What's in your heart? What's in your heart? What's in your heart? Check the posture of your heart. Change your heart. Change your world. Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stew, but a good word maketh it glad. The righteous is more excellent than his neighbor, but the way of the wicked seduceth them. The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting, but the substance of a diligent man is precious. In the way of righteous is life, and in the pathway thereof there is no death. There is life. No death. And remember the Proverbs were concerned about us learning wisdom. That's how we learn wisdom is through the word of God. Dishonest people who twist the facts to support the claims they are making are likely to be trapped by their own lies. This is some of the commentary. But for someone who always tells the truth, the facts, plain and unvarnished, give an unshakable defense. If you find you always have to defend yourself to others, maybe you're not being honest. When someone insults or embarrasses you, is it natural to retaliate? But this solves nothing and only encourages trouble. Instead, answer slowly and quietly. Your positive response will achieve positive results. Proverbs fifteen one says a soft answer turneth away wrath. Truth is always timely. It applies today and in the future because it is connected with God's changeless character. It is also changeless. Think for a moment about the centuries that have passed since these Proverbs were written. Consider the countless hours that have been spent carefully studying every sentence of Scripture. The Bible has withstood the test of time because God is truth. You can trust his word to guide you. You can trust his word to guide you. And now I'm going to go to a book that I had on my shelf. Not even sure how it got there when it got there. But the Lord, the Holy Spirit led me to it. And it's called Discover the Power Within You, A Guide to the Unexplored Depths Within by Eric Butterworth. And it says the forward is by Maya Angelou. So forward by Maya Angelou, Discover the Power Within You, A Guide to the Unexplored Depths Within, Eric Butterworth. And the Holy Spirit led me to a round page. Let me just make sure here. Sixty five. And I read he had me read sixty five to seventy two, sixty five to seventy two. Now, I'm just going to point out a few key things in this book as he's guiding me. Holy Spirit, help me. I need my helper. The fundamental, I'm going to start reading on page sixty five. The fundamental idea of Jesus's teaching is that man is essentially a divine creature. The potential for wholeness is forever with him and within him. Thus, health and healing are not dependent upon some special act or will of God. They are a matter only of man's faith and vision, his desire and acceptance, his hunger and thirst after righteousness. If men fulfill their part, the promise is they shall be filled. What do you hunger after? Do you thirst for righteousness? So here is another vital attitude of being to be built into our consciousness. We are to be God conscious. Remember Emmanuel, God in us. I seek with all my mind and heart and I shall find. Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy. This attitude reveals the law of consciousness. If you want to be loved, you must love. If you want friends, you must be friendly. If you want just treatment, be just. Life is lived from within out, meaning what's inside of us. The divine nature, the kingdom mentality that is in us should rule us. We should not be ruled by circumstances. We should not be ruled by men or women in power. We should be ruled by Lord Jesus, by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit alone guides us into all truth. We must remember our kingdom perspective, who we are, whose we are. Remember, we get to paint the world we want to see. We get to control the outcome by speaking words that build up, that edify, that purify, that sanctify, that consecrate, that strengthen. Words that build off the love of Jesus. He died so we can live. We must remember love, peace, joy. What does your life show? Are you a peacemaker? Are you a pot stirrer? Are you a gossip? Or do you speak words of truth? Gossip dies when it comes to a wise man's lips. Are you speaking lips? Are your lips speaking truth, I should say? Are your lips speaking truth? Be careful. Careful what you are sowing. As a kingdom official, as a bearer of the light, are you sowing seeds of hate, discord, and disunity? Well, we are to be kingdom-minded, kingdom-focused so that we can bring the lost that are in the darkness into the kingdom of light. What seeds are you sowing? What do your actions say? Change your heart. Change your world. Speak life over yourself, over your circumstances. Perfect love casts out all fear. There is no fear in perfect love. Let only the peace and joy of having the kingdom inside of you, ruling your life, guide you in this hour. Be kingdom minded, kingdom focused. Focus on a relationship with Jesus. He's coming for his bride. Will you be ready? Will you be purified, sanctified, and made holy, cleansed, guided by kingdom principles? Will your actions and deeds show that you reflect the world and not the kingdom? It's the hour. The question's going to be asked. Do you have the answer ready? Is there oil in your lamp? Is there oil in your lamp? Is there oil in your lamp? That's what he asked for you today. Bask in his peace, his joy. Know that God is in charge. We have abundance in the kingdom. We have joy. We have life. We're not in lack. Speak kingdom words over your life. Don't focus on the world. Don't focus on what they're saying. Speak words of life. God spoke the world into existence. Speak kingdom. Speak kingdom. Speak kingdom. God bless you. God keep you. May his light shine upon you. May blessings overflow and take you. And the river of life, life-giving joy consume you. And you be healed in the name of Jesus. Bask in that this day. In his truth. In his truth. I'm Tammy Toney- Butler with Reflective Spaces Ministry.
