About Tammy Toney-Butler: https://www.reflectivespacesministry.com/about

Welcome to today's episode of Reflective Spaces Ministry. We're starting a new series, the Transformation Series. Today's episode is focusing on forgiveness. I'm Tammy Toney-Butler, Healing Evangelist. All that I am is because of Christ. He set me free, carried the weight of it all. And now I walk on a path of righteousness for his name's sake. Join me on this path. Join me on this journey. This journey to wholeness. One step, one layer at a time. Forgiveness is powerful. It's hard. It's not in our nature, our sinful nature, to want to forgive those who've offended us, hurt us, afflicted us. But it's only in forgiveness that we truly can let go of it all. Forgiveness says, We love ourselves. It never gives them a license to hurt us. It doesn't say we have to forget, but it no longer controls us, no longer impacts our judgment or creates a bias that we didn't even know we possessed. Forgiveness lets us see ourselves as what we are, sinners that Christ set free. It helps us to look through the lens of faith and see others as Christ sees us. He doesn't judge us, condemn us. He wishes that none shall perish. He wants us to know his love, his freedom. Forgiveness is the key that unlocks the door to breakthrough. Forgiveness is the key that unlocks the door to breakthrough. Wow, I felt that in my spirit. Forgiveness is the key. Forgiveness is the key. Do not stay bound another season, chained to the past. Instead, break out and break into all he's called you to be this season. Forgive yourself. Forgive yourself and forgive others. I know you missed it. I've missed it. He knows you've missed it. But he's there when you call out to him. But remember, out of our heart flows rivers of living water. Rivers of living water. So out of our heart, if it flows rivers of living water, it flows life. If we are to resemble Christ, He's in our heart. We can't hold in our heart seeds of bitterness, seeds of hate, or seeds of unforgiveness. Because a righteous tree can't bear bad fruit But those are not fruits of righteousness. We are called to be the tree of life, the tree of truth. We are called to be like Christ and out of our hearts flow living water. And we spring forth or trees spring forth from us, trees that bear good fruit, forgiveness, hope, love, joy, and peace, not condemnation, not hate, not bitterness. Those aren't characteristics of you. Those were lies Deceptive trees born from seeds planted that were hurtful and harmful and sent to destroy you. But you can't be stopped. You can't be destroyed because you're victorious in Christ Jesus. You're free. You're whole. Step into all he's called you to be this season Step into all He's called you to be this season. When we look at Proverbs four, and we go to all the way down to twenty-three. Proverbs four, twenty-three. Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. Guard your heart. No bitterness. No hate. No unforgiveness. Step into the abundant blessings and the abundant life that he has for you. Unforgiveness can block healing. It can block breakthrough. Remember what it says in Mark. eleven twenty two to twenty five and I'm turning to it now the lord has laid it on my heart to give to you mark yes we're gonna go mark eleven twenty two to twenty five then jesus said to hit the disciples have faith in god I tell you the truth You can say to this mountain, may you be lifted up and thrown into the sea and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. I tell you, you can pray for anything. And if you believe that you've received it, it will be yours. But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins too. Father, Abba Father, we cry out to you today. Help us, Father. Give us strength to forgive. Give us the ability to forgive all those who've oppressed us, wronged us, spoken out against us, deceptive webs that they've woven Instead, Father, let us show grace and mercy, humility, and pray for them. Father, everyone that's spoken against me and your call that you've placed on my life, I forgive them. Anyone who's hurt me in the past, Father, I forgive them. And I walk in freedom. Help everyone hearing this message have the ability to forgive themselves and to forgive others. Let this be a season of forgiveness as we walk in abundant life and blessings, the hope and love that knowing the Lord Jesus Christ brings as we are one with you as you are in us, guiding us to all truth, and out of our hearts will flow rivers of living water that quench the thirst of all those that come to your well to drink. In the mighty name of your precious Son, Lord Jesus, we pray all things. We praise you. We worship you. We glorify God bless you and keep you this day as you go forth and prosper in Jesus, in his truth, in his love, in his forgiveness, in his power, and in his freedom. Walk in wholeness. Be free.
