Whose Field Are You Gleaning In?
Are you in the right field to reap a bountiful harvest, or are you like Naomi was when her husband and two sons died? Are you bitter, blaming the Lord God of Israel, or are you like Ruth, willing to follow a God you heard about through Naomi that you trust, yet you do not fully know? Are you surrendered willing to obey the Lord's command, even if spoken through a woman like Naomi ? Will you follow the one God has chosen this season as a messenger for the lost, the broken, the disenfranchised, the invisible? Will you follow a generation-altering plan God has ordained?
Will you step out in faith like Ruth did and go to an unknown land to an unknown people so you can be positioned where God wants you to be this season? Will you walk in faith, blind trust, saying by your actions, "Lord, I trust you to redeem me like Boaz did Ruth."
Do you believe there is more abundance, generation-altering courage to step into the unknown? Do you have it? Do you know where to find it?
Let's all be like Ruth and say, "Where you go, I will go, and where you stay, I will stay. Your people will be my people, and your God my God. Where you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely,y if anything but death separates us."
This entire book of Ruth speaks of restoration and redemption for nations; it speaks of the blood of Jesus shed on Calvary, redeeming us all. It speaks of freedom, life, liberty, and abundance. It speaks of a bountiful harvest of souls if one dares possess the courage to move away from the comfortable known to the uncomfortable foreign, faithful path of purpose ordained by God Almighty.
What will you do? Will you live in bitterness? Will you camp out there, or will you let go and let God, like Naomi, go despite your past adversity, storm, trials, and failures?
I see you, God sees you. You are never alone. You are never too dirty. You are never too full of shame. You are never too lost. You are never too broken or condemned. You are chosen, beautiful, a daughter or son of the Most High King.
Step into all God has for you. Get out of Moab, your past, that place of death, that place of brokenness, that place of famine, that place of lack, and return to Bethlehem, a place of birth, a place of promise, a place of abundance, a place of restoration, a place of healing, a place of restoration, a place of healing.
The Redeemer is waiting. He is waiting. He is waiting. He's waiting.
Step into all God has called you to be this season, read the book of Ruth, marinate in it, look over it, and let it speak life into your dry bones. The season is here, and the harvest is ready, but there are few laborers. It's time to glean, it's time to take care of the poor, the widows, the orphans, the foreigners, those in a dry land. It's time to step up, step out in faith, and be the voice crying out in the wilderness for change. Glory be to Jesus, Glory be to Jesus. It's the season you have to move, you have to trust, you have to believe, you have to step, it's the season, go, go, go!
It's time now. Consider this your rally call, call to action, and war cry. Consider it the moment you need to break out, break through, and break into all God's called you to be. It's time to move on past the darkness and embrace the Light.
He's waiting, He's waiting, He's waiting, He's waiting. It's time now. It's time now. It's time now. Go forth and prosper with this Rhema Word. Let it penetrate bone and marrow and be a call to action for God's people. In the mighty name of Jesus, we give all Glory and Honor to Jesus. Hallowed be His Name, hallowed be His Name, hallowed be His Name. Hallowed be His Name. Hallowed be His Name. Glory be to Jesus, hallowed be His Name.
