Welcome to Reflective Spaces Ministry's episode for The Transformation Series: Trusting the Shepherd. Can you see it a way out? An open door? A door that leads away from this dark place, this place of lack, this place of closed doors, this place of wondering, this place of complete surrender?
Trusting and obeying no matter how difficult, when you can't see a way out of your current circumstances, your mountain of depression, your mountain of
sickness, your mountain of debt, but inside you know the truth, know who you are in Christ Jesus, know that He supplies all your needs. You know that provision means so much: peace and joy. Peace and joy despite your circumstances when you can praise in the hallway, when you can praise in the middle of the storm, because you know your God is with you. He will never leave you, He will never forsake you, and so you walk forward praising His Holy Name, because you know that that mountain has been cast into the sea; that mountain of sickness, that mountain of debt, that mountain of depression, that mountain of
addiction. And you rebuke the lies and the attack of the enemy, and you say, "Get behind me, satan." I know the God I serve, Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Rafa, the Advocate, the Comforter, the Protector, the Provider. My refuge in any storm, He will see me through. I trust you, God! That's what faith is, that's what surrender is, it's saying "I can't see a way out of this prison cell. I can't see a way out of this situation, out of this bad marriage, but I trust you, God. I trust you. I choose to trust you, I choose to praise Your Holy Name. I choose to lift you up, knowing that You will provide for me, You will strengthen me, as I wait and endure the trial.
Waiting on the breakthrough, waiting on the moment it all changes. By Your Stripes ye were healed. I know I have healing, I am the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, the lender and not the borrower. I know I'm not in lack, and a spirit of poverty is not mine. I rebuke it in the name of Jesus. I'm trusting you, God. I'm trusting you, God. I'm laying it all at Your feet, Jesus.
I'm stretching my hand to You, grasp it, hold it hold me, God. I need you, Jesus. I need you, I need you, I need you, God. I need you.
The secret to transformation lies in recognizing our weakness, to calling out to God, realizing we need and that we're dependent being like little children wanting their Father to provide. Knowing when you can't see a way out, He's already gone and prepared the way. He's already made the way straight, we just have to trust Him in the storm, trust Him, trust Him in the storm, trust Him, call out to Him. He will make a way. He always makes a way, even if it's just to bring fresh oil by way of His Holy Spirit to strengthen you, to get you through one more day, as you wait on that promise to be delivered. Look how long so many others in faith had to wait to see their promises fulfilled, to see the Word spoken over them, the Word spoken over their life fulfilled. They had to endure, they had to wait, they had to fight the good fight of faith, stay in faith, stay strong, trust in the hallway, trust in the storm, and He will see you through.
Glory be to Jesus!
