Welcome to today's episode of Reflective Spaces Ministry's podcast. I'm Tammy Toney-Butler, Healing Evangelist. Today's teaching is on," Are You the Judge?" Let's take a spiritual inventory today and see where we fall short

Where we fall short and need to change

Father corrects those he loves And sometimes we need to stop and take a spiritual inventory and see where we fall short How do we measure up

If we were weighed our actions were weighed on scales would we tip towards what's good noble pure and righteous Or would we tip towards the world the world's systems the world's ways What's in our heart What's the posture of our heart How do we know How do we know what to do in a world full of compromise disobedience and rebellion against the word of God And what God says do we have a relationship with Jesus with Yeshua

Do we have a relationship with Ad and I with God

Are we falling short daily These are questions I ask myself every day

to keep myself pure and without spot or blemish as a purified bride waiting on their groom Jesus is coming for his bride Will you be ready Will you be found pure What do your actions say

When did you last take a spiritual inventory and sit quietly before the Lord and have him examine you

And have him examine you

through his lens of truth Are you in a relationship

with the Holy Spirit the spirit of truth the spirit of Christ Is Christ guiding you and everything you do Are you living according to the Torah The commandments

the commandments of God of Lord Jesus Are you loving your neighbor as yourself the widow the orphan Are you following the commandments of God When you're in a relationship with Jesus and his spirit of truth is working in you his holy spirit guiding you then your actions will portray that And faith without action is dead It's a compromising faith And there's no room for compromise in this hour We must remain pure Pure of heart pure of action pure of intent We must examine our heart daily Repent and ask God to guide us into all truth For he is the way the truth and the light No one gets to the father but through the son Where do we all stand up as followers of Christ Are we accusers of the brethren Are we showing mercy grace humility

Are we offering up our home to the lost to the downtrodden or are we judging based on color of skin

based on job titles clothing man looks on the outward appearance But God looks on the inward the posture of the heart Are you in a relationship with Aba Father the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob the God of our precious Lord Jesus Are you a friend like Abraham was the father of faith Do you know Do you know how can you determine the pathway forward to ensure on the that on the great day of the Lord you are judged accordingly and you measure up Will the scales tip towards things you've done that are righteous pure noble clean or will they tip towards the defilement of the world where you put material possessions before a relationship with God where you put a job a career a physical relationship where you prioritized everything over spending time with God submitting and surrendering to the Holy Spirit leading your life every day seeking the spirit of truth for guidance and saying "Not my will but yours be done Oh God I surrender it all to you oh God Guide me strengthen me protect me keep me from the snare and the fowler Keep me from the defilement of this world Keep me from deliberate sins Keep me from presumptive sins oh God Wash me clean Purify me Sanctify me oh God Cleanse me like it says in Psalm 19 Cleanse me Protect me like it says in Psalm 91 Oh God keep me pure and noble as we look to James as we look to him and that book and him as our teacher a rabbi of truth When we look to James to see the way forward how do we measure up How do we measure up Are we following the Torah A righteous road mapap for living which is made possible through the strength that comes from a relationship with the Holy Spirit When the Holy Spirit operates in and through us like rivers of living water flowing out to others our grace our humility overflowing to others are we raising others up and building them up with our words Or are we tearing them down with judgment and becoming an accuser of the brethren to where we are like followers of Satan and evil instead of following the righteous words of truth put forth by our savior that give life that build that create God spoke the world into existence The breath of life

that strengthens us heals us helps us to be whole Where will you measure up when you take a spiritual inventory Because the day is coming for Christ the Messiah is coming for his bride Will you be raptured up taken up in that trail

of safety and security Are you will you be left behind for the great tribulation

Hard questions hard times I can't think of a better time to stop and take a spiritual inventory and ensure that you're right with God If there's any question if there's any doubt repent say "I know I've missed it God I know I've missed it I know I've missed it Guide me into all truth Purify me Sanctify me Cleanse me by your blood Jesus I repent of all my sins Wash me clean I surrender my life to you Not my will but yours be done oh God I submit and surrender to the Holy Spirit living inside of me guiding me into all truth guiding me into righteous living according to the Torah the commandments the road mapap set before us during ancient times

where our guide our road map our way was laid out before us

It's still true today And we must love and show love grace and mercy to a world that so desperately needs it When you take an inventory of your actions yesterday

even this morning when you woke up tonight before you go to bed what did your actions say

Were your your words used to edify to build up or were they used to curse and break down Were you seen as a pillar of light or were you contributing to the darkness

Who's guiding you Who's teaching you

Who's guiding you to all truth

When you're weighed measured your actions your words and you stand before God and he takes a spiritual inventory of all you've done in your life

Will he remember it no more because you've repented You've turned towards righteousness And even though you miss it you have a humble heart and a heart posture of repentance that daily cries out for God to guide you to strengthen you to give you words of truth

where scripture guides you And you use his sword to heal to help not to wound not to transgress Tough choices tough words tough times Take a spiritual inventory today and let God guide you Read the book of James Read it out of the complete Jewish Bible and read it out of the New Living Translation the King James version Compare seek truth seek God And I leave you with a scripture today

that helps us as we walk as we observe the path forward As we look to James who served as the chief rabbi of this early Messianic Jewish community centered in Jerusalem He was a Torah teacher a spokesman for the entire community and chief judge and authority

Wow He was respected even in non- messianic Jewish circles He was a wise man Wow Let's look at this for a minute as I read out of the complete Jewish Bible the English version by David H Stern And I'm going to start reading down in let's let's go to

uh let me start reading out of one James 1 And I'm going to start at 17 Actually I'll start at 16 Don't delude yourselves my dear brothers Every good act of giving and every perfect gift is from above coming down from the Father who made the heavenly lights With him there is neither variation nor darkness caused by turning Having made his decision he gave birth to us through a word that can be relied upon in order that we should be a kind of first fruits of all that he created Therefore my dear brothers let every person be quick to listen but slow to speak slow to get angry for a person's anger does not accomplish God's righteousness So rid yourselves of all vulgarity and obvious evil and receive meekly the word implanted in you that can save your lives Don't deceive yourselves by only hearing what the word says but do it For whoever hears the word but doesn't do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror who looks at himself goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like But if a person looks closely into the perfect Torah which gives freedom and continues becoming not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work it requires then he will be blessed in what he does Anyone who thinks he is religiously observant but does not control his tongue is deceiving himself and his observance counts for nothing The religious observer the religious observance that God the Father considers pure and faultless is this The religious observance that God the Father considers pure and without fault Faultless is this to care for the orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being contaminated by the world By the world and that is the hour we are in We must keep ourselves from spiritual contamination We must keep ourselves pure for the Messiah is coming for a purified bride He's coming Be ready Be ready Be ready Do the inventory Look inward and ask the Holy Spirit to help you live a righteous life of purity Letting go of bitterness letting go of hate letting go of anger letting go of selfishness and becoming meek and humble and selfless as we look towards bringing the kingdom on earth as it is in heaven As we protect our brethren pray for those who persecute us and seek righteousness and purity and light above all else Glory be to Jesus Glory be to Jesus Glory be to Jesus That concludes this episode of Reflective Spaces Ministry podcast I'm Tammy Toney-Butler. Go and sin no more. Glory be to Jesus.
