Welcome to today's episode of Reflective Spaces Ministry Podcast. I'm Tammy Toney-Butler, healing evangelist. Holy Spirit, come have your way in this time that we have together. May they hear you. May they see you. May they see your truth. and may they learn how to abide in the vine of truth bearing much fruit for the kingdom of God. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
Today's episode
is about the posture of your heart.
What is your heart posture?
Is it turned towards God or toward the world? How do you even know? Are you bearing fruit for the kingdom?
Are you walking in authority as a believer? Has your heart become hardened due to sin and a web of deception that's been woven through the fabric of your very being? fabric knitted from past experiences lies. And instead of wearing a garment of praise and joy and peace and love, you wear a garment of shame, fear, regret, and self-loathing.
a garment that you never had a choice whether you adorned or not. But today I tell you, you don't need to carry it. You don't need to wear something that no longer fits you, that no longer houses the person that you've become.
You get to put on a different garment today. A garment of praise and thanksgiving, of peace, of love, of joy,
and in of tranquility. In knowing who's you are in Christ Jesus as a believer, you hold the keys to the kingdom. You get to have what you say when it's in line with God's perfect will. Are you walking in alignment?
Are you turned towards the things of the world or towards the things of heaven? There's no sickness in heaven, no disease, no fear, no no hate. There's only perfect peace. Perfect love casts out all fear. There is no fear in perfect love. We get to have abundant life now while on earth on earth as it is in heaven. So we bind sickness, we bind premature death, we bind addiction, we bind depression, we bind shame, we bind them and we rebuke them, Satan, the Lord Jesus rebuke you. We don't have to partner up with those things because we get to have what we say as believers. When we study the scriptures and we look at Mark 11:22-2
and we turn inward and examine the posture of our heart, are we walking in bitterness, hate, pride, unforgiveness, jealousy, spite? Or are we walking as children of the light? Humble, full of grace, mercy, love. Love is the greatest thing that we have to pass on to a generation. It's the pure love, the simplicity of the gospel. Jesus embodied love. He embodied love. Agape love.
A love that heals. A love that restores. A love that reveals. Are you walking in that love that he died so we could have access to? He suffered so much on the cross.
He knows what suffering is like. And how many of you are suffering in silence? But let me say this to you. I see you. I see your struggles. He sees you and he hears you when you call out to him. You're never too dirty or full of shame to call out to him. As we grow and mature in Christ, we turn inward. And it was only just the other day that I had a revelation of what reflective spaces ministry truly was. The reflective spaces piece of it. But I had to grow in Christ Jesus and be renewed in mind, body, and spirit, having the heart of Christ and the mind of Christ before I could walk in the fullness of the promise bestowed upon me as a believer. And I realized he had given me the strength to reflect inward, a safe space of reflection within my heart because he is in my heart. Wow, what a revelation. I never saw that coming. I never saw it coming. That our job at Reflective Spaces Ministry and my job as a healing evangelist is to help you find that safe space to where you can look inward
and see what area in your life needs work. It needs the soothing sav, the loving balm, the blood of Jesus that comforts, that heals, that redeems, that restores. It gives you the strength and the ability to navigate every storm that comes your way because you know who is with you and whose you are in Christ Jesus. And when your heart is postured toward surrendered obedience and trust because faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. And when you have faith and you have trust and you have a knowing and you enter into a surrendered obedience and you are in alignment, then father will answer your heart's desires because it is his desire to see us full of the promises and the blessings offered up to us as citizens of heaven, as royalty, as sons and daughters of the king. You have to understand who you are and whose you are in Christ and that the world does not define you and the world systems do not define you. Culture does not define you.
Yes. You may look different. You may speak different. But we are not called to be citizens of Earth. We are here visiting. We are here with a goal that we must meet. Every one of us has a goal that was set in heaven. God knew us before he formed us in the womb and knitted us in our mother's womb. We have a ordained purpose for being on this earth, but we are citizens of heaven. And we don't have to partner up with sin, sickness, disease, afflictions, coping through various addictions. No, we get to draw on the wellspring of living water. We get to draw on the strength of God Almighty, of Adoni, of Elohim, of Yahweh, like it says in Isaiah, we get to renew our strength like the eagles. And we are protected like it talks about in Psalm 91. We won't even dash our foot against a stone. And we get to be armored up like it says in Ephesians. like it says in Ephesians
and we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Let's continue to look towards the word in this season. Continue to stop the lies. continue to reflect, to sit still in the presence of the almighty God, cultivating a relationship with Lord Jesus with his holy spirit guiding us, the spirit of truth, the spirit of Christ, the spirit of God that lives within us guiding us, keeping us. The greatest thing you can do in this season is cultivate an obedient ear of faith and hear God. Hear the whisper or develop as you mature in Christ and move from milk to meat. As you transition into more maturity, there is a knowing less of a of a whisper, but a knowing a knowing in your spirit. This is the way. Go this way. Don't go that way. When you work through various convictions and not not condemnation but a conviction in your spirit or a knowing this is the way. And when you cultivate spiritual sensitivity, you can spot a wolf in sheep's clothing, a deceptive web, anything trying to come at you to kill, steal, destroy, and distract you from fulfilling your kingdom purpose and getting across the line to the goal to fulfillment, getting past the finish line so that you know when you reach heaven, You can hear, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." And you can know you fought the good fight of faith that you dwelled in the secret place,
praying without ceasing and looking to God Almighty as your provider and your source, putting first the kingdom of God and all else shall be given unto you. So today I call you to spend a few minutes in the secret place, sitting still without any distractions and listening, waiting like an expectant child on their father to speak to them, to come home, to give them a little gift, a nugget of truth. Seek out father while he can be found. Cultivate. Cultivate time with the Lord Jesus. Get in his word. Sit still. Pray without ceasing. Armor up. And go forth and prosper. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus.
