Welcome to today's episode of the Reflective Spaces Ministry Podcast. I'm Tammy Toney-Butler, Healing Evangelist, and your host. Do you have a heart of truth or flesh?
Let's look inward today to discover the answer and seek first the kingdom of God and all else shall be given unto you. That should be the posture of your heart always to seek the truth. Holy Spirit, come have your time, your way in this time that we have together. May they see you and not me and hear you and not me. Oh, holy God. Adonai,
today is a day where the posture of your heart
must be in tune with the heart of Christ and not the heart of flesh, the heart of the world. Not a hardened heart, a heart of stone. We must have a pure heart which living water can flow through and out to others to sustain them to restore them redeem them by showing them the light and love of Christ Jesus.
Do you feel in your heart there's seeds blockages from bitterness,
jealousy, unforgiveness? What is the posture of your heart? Is your heart filled with peace and joy, love for your neighbor? Do you possess that heart of truth where the Holy Spirit guides you, whispers to you, strengthens you?
Look inward today,
and examine your heart condition. Is it pure? Are you speaking life over yourself? Are your actions noble, full of humility, grace, mercy, and compassion? Or do you act out and rage, anger threatening everything you do? You lash out and you don't even know why.
Have you examined What's the root?
The blockage in the word of God getting through penetrating bone and marrow settling in your heart to change it so that you have the heart of Christ and the mind of Christ.
How do you know what your heart posture is? How do you know if it's full of truth or if it's a heart of flesh? Well, what do your actions say? If someone examined your life, what would they see? Will they see someone that serves others without selfish ambitions that places someone else on the platform? Or would they see someone that always wants to be the first one in the photo?
The one who always puts their self before others. It's difficult when you start looking inward and examining yourself and your actions and what your actions say about you and who you are
with a great cloud of witnesses around you.
What do they see? What will they report?
What would they report? What would they report? Would they say that they see you in the secret place crying, asking for forgiveness, striving every day to do what's right and to have the correct heart posture
with Jesus's strength, the strength of Christ
flowing in and through you to sustain you and help you, equip you as you go out each today in a world of deception and darkness so that you can be the light of truth and show others the way?
Or do you even stop to give the homeless guy or girl a bottle of water on a hot day?
Do you stop? Do you even see the ones that are out there lost, broken, in need of a savior
today? Let's look at our heart posture. Let's fill it with the truth of the word of God. Let's filter everything through the purified filter of living water that washes us clean, that sustains us, that redeems us. Let's walk in the light of God's word and let him see us through and help us to look inward and examine our actions and the motive behind the action. What is the motive behind the action? Is there a motive at all? Or is it that you just are so full of the love of Jesus that it just spills out to fill others up? Are you a well of living water that sustains others? Or are you someone that when someone comes to you? Instead of building them up,
they leave empty, dry, and unable to pour into anyone else. As leaders, spiritual leaders, we must ask oursel these questions and examine the posture of our heart daily. Repent,
having the courage to trust and turn and walk in the truth and light of the word of God, the living word. Are we are we the living word? Are we walking the earth like Jesus did setting the example for nations? Let's look today, examine the posture of our heart, seek his truth, filter everything through the word of God, and seek that relationship, that relationship with Adoni, with Elim. Oh, with Yahweh. That relationship with Yeshua that strengthens us, sustains us, and ensures that we will never run out of living water. We will always have fresh oil in our lamps and be victorious in Christ Jesus. And that's what he has for you today. just to pause, sit still, seek the creator, seek God while he can be found. Sit quietly in the secret place. Glorify and praise him and wait on a whispered word of truth that transforms your day. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Father. Oh, Holy Spirit, guide them and keep them and strengthen them this day. Protect them, oh God. May they shine the light and love of truth to a dark world. In the mighty name of Jesus, we glorify and praise you and exalt you. Amen. Go and conquer this day knowing who you are and whose you are in Christ Jesus.
